1. All of the games reviewed must be played completely. This means that the game has to be finished right up to the final level, even though the game is lousy. There are a few well-known PC gaming websites / magazines that have confessed that they did not complete the game(s) that was reviewed. So how can a review be trusted ?
2. No cheating allowed. This is also another 'trick' used by some reviewers to finish the game quickly in order to meet the dateline. However, you can be sure that all of the games reviewed here are played without cheats, however difficult it may be.
3. Limited comparisons. Many game reviews that I have read are trapped in comparison mode, which means that the game that was reviewed was compared too much with another far superior game. Here at lykarchives, we try to limit comparisons if we can help it as we believe that every game has its own unique features that stands out above the rest.
Also, we also do not believe in game reviews that constantly praises the developers past achievements and/or failures as we consider this as biased.
