This game basically is a copycat of several good elements found in other games. There's the compass that directs you to your objective (Like in Medal of Honor : Allied Assault) and you can even get to ride vehicles (Also found in MOHAA and Hidden & Dangerous). Plus the mission briefings includes some real WWII footage ( like in...)
Before heading straight to the battlefield, players will have to equip your troops and this is where the inventory system truly shines. Unlike Hidden & Dangerous's inventory system which can be daunting to some, the inventory system found here is just simple drag and drop. However, there are not many variety of weapons that are offered. Once satisfied, off you go to accomplish your objectives.
In short, if you want more WWII action, play this game.
