Through the Eyes of a Child
I was nothing till I met you.
I was only a small thing held in a giants arms,
You spoke softly to me and loved me when I cried.
You taught me the things I know now
love, tolerance, and perseverance.
As I grow older things will change
between you and me
But you are my mother and you
will always be.
With love from me.

I wrote this for my mom when she was feeling a little blue and I wanted to cheer her up. It was first called Mommy but I didn't like the name so I changed it.
