| WILLIAM WILSON was born in Centre County, Pennyslvania and died 8 September 1849. He was married there to Susannah IRWIN, October 23, 1795. They came to Venango County, and settled in the northern part of Cherrytree Township and north of Breedtown, in
1803 - 04. Their first improvement was a log cabin, which they erected and lived in for several years. they had a family of six children. His companion died 28 Jan 1813.
He married the second time to Jane LEWIS nee CURRY, September 28th, 1814. From her he raised a family of nine children.
He died September 8th, 1849, his wife's demise occurred January 25th 1868.
