FRANCIS CHAPMAN was born in county Donegal, Ireland, in 1773, and migrated to Pennsylvania in 1796. He settled near what is now Greenville, in 1804, and in 1814, on Two-lick, about ten miles below the "diamond." He died in 1847. His wife was Jane DRUMMOND, of County Tyrone, Ireland, who died in 1847, at the age of seventy-two. Their children were: Margaret m. John CONNER Elizabeth m. John LYDICK Mary m. Henry BARNES Sarah m.
