Updates on my health

2/29/04 It's been a really, really, long time since I wrote last. A lot of things have happened since I wrote last. First of all, I have a great news! I am going to be a big sister! My mommy is going to have a baby this June and we are hoping and praying that my sister will be born in June and not any earlier. My last eye check up showed that my nearsightedness hasn't changed much. My right eye is about -7 and my left eye is about -9. My next appointment is April 22nd. Overall, I am doing very well. I have been sick on and off all winter long. It's been a little rough, but so far nothing too serious to worry about. I was also evaluated by a speech/language therapist, physical therapist, and developmental therapist in December. I am showing some delays in speech and I am still not walking. I will be meeting with a speech therapist once a week to help me. I am babbling a lot, but I haven't been saying too many "words" yet (which is a concern). Although I am not walking on my own yet, the physical therapist does not seem overly concern yet. I am making progress, but I am still too scared to walk without holding someone's hand. Hopefully, I'll be able to walk by myself pretty soon. My mommy and daddy say that I am getting too heavy to carry around so I need to learn how to walk soon. : ) Everyone tells me that I'm getting really tall and I'm getting so big. As you can see from my pictures, most of my teeth have come in now. I'm learning how to brush my teeth on my own these days. Thanks for reading!
