Updates on my health
November
11/16/02 Hi everyone! Long time no write! I've been busy these days so I haven't had any time to write. I'm doing well overall. I'm almost 9 lbs. I'm about one month old (corrected age) and so far I'm doing everything one month old babies are supposed to do. I'm not the best sleeper so I keep my mommy and daddy up a lot. That is something I need to work on, but hopefully as I get bigger I'll be able to sleep better. My next eye appointment is Wednesday, November 27th. I'm supposed to be wearing an eye patch every day, but I haven't been doing a good job with that either. My parents think I'm really smart because when they put the eye patch on my eye, I pretend to fall asleep so that they will take it off. After they take the patch off, I'll wake up again. Kinda sneaky, huh? :)
11/28/02 Happy Thanksgiving! I have a lot to be thankful for! Today I weigh 10 lbs 3 oz. Yesterday I had my eye appointment and the doctor told me that my eyes are getting better! For those of you who would understand, the doctor told me that the fibrous scar tissue in my eyes is going away (~ 80% gone). But the doctor still told me that the dragging of the macula in both eyes is still about the same and he still has no idea how my vision will turn out. Please pray that I'll have 20/20 vision! I still have to wear the eye patch every night, which I don't like too much. But overall I'm doing great! I'm especially thankful for all of you...for your love and prayers!
