Updates on my health

7/21/03 Can you believe it's been a year already? Last year around this time I was one week old and my weight had dropped to 1 pound and 10 ounces and I was 14 inches tall. Now, I'm 19 1/2 pounds and 28 1/2 inches tall! Praise God for His faithfulness! These days I've been doing very well! I have 4 teeth with 4 more coming in about half way. I'm busy learning how to crawl and pulling myself up to stand. I am eating very well and I especially enjoy munching on Cheerios. I do not need to go to see the neurologist, because I haven't had any more weird episodes lately. That's good news! I did get a new pair of glasses....actually, the only thing that's new are the lenses. The left eye has a stronger prescription now and both lenses are "transition" lenses. My mommy and daddy couldn't afford to get me another pair of prescription sunglasses so they got the lenses that turn darker when exposed to UV rays. This way I can see outside without having to squint as much and when I come back inside, the lenses change back to normal. Cool, huh!
I also just celebrated my 1st birthday! I had a great time with all of my friends and family. I am so thankful to have so many people that prayed for me this past year. It wasn't an easy year for me, but God has helped me through...He is sooooooo good! My next eye appointment is in the middle of August. I'll update you in about a month. God bless you!
