Shay
This is Shay.  Shay was rescued from an animal shelter when they where going to put her to sleep.  She came into the shelter with her 2 sisters, Belle and Madeline.  Belle and Madeline were both also pregnant.  The went to different foster homes and they both raised a litter of happy, healthy babies.  I really wanted to take Madeline, but I was talked into taking Shay instead.  I'm glad I did.  Shay is now looking for a new home.  She doesn't get along with one of my other cats, so she'd do best in a home where she will be the only cat.  She is very affectionate, and LOVES people.  She needs a home where she will be mainly an indoor cat.
Here is Shay showing off her new family.  Shay only had 2 kittens, and lucky, both kittens found a wonderful home where they will be together.  Shay loved to show off her babies.  In this picture, she's a bit tired.
Here is Shay with me on my bed.  Shay loved to share my bed with me.  Only one problem-her definition was different than mine.  Her definition was, you can have that tiny little strip by the wall and I get the rest.  Oh well.  I guess that's the price you pay for having a cat in your bed!!!  In fact, she liked my bed so well, she even had her kittens IN MY BED!!!  Good thing I love her, though.  Needless to say, she got to keep those sheets!
This is Shay in her bed/box where she was SUPPOSE to have the kittens.  I made it all soft with towels and every thing.  Shay had other plans.  She thought my bed was a much more suitable place to have kittens.  She didn't mind to much when I bought her her own basket and put the kittens in that, though.
Here is Shay again.  This is when she's just about had enough of her kittens, so she'd jump up on the foot of my bed for refuge from the little leaches!!!!  She loved them, but like every mother, she got sick of them once in a while.  Mostly in the middle of the night when I am trying to sleep and she wants to share my pillow!
This is Shay's "Look how cute I am-NOW FEED THE CAT!" look.  She had the habit of waking me up every morning at 5:30 to feed her.  She had plenty of dry food, but now, she would die if I didn't get up at 5:30 every morning and get her some canned food.  She couldn't wait until the sun was up.  That's okay.  Small price to pay for a sweet kitty.
Here is Shay enjoying her new bed.  She was feeling lonely when I gave her kittens away, so I bought her some special things of her own.  Soon she forgot all about her kittens.  She still loves to sleep in her bed and play with her toys I bought her.  She is one pampered pussy cat.

Here is a picture of Shay and her babies when they where 3 days old.  They are in the new basket I got so I could have my bed back.  I had to make the cover and pillow to go in it.  All it was when I bought it was a wicker basket.  It worked for what I needed it for, though!
