My Dogs
These are my dogs.  Each dog is very special to me.  Kristi came from an abusive hunter, and was turned into a shelter to be euthanized.  Smoky was a free puppy, who despite his many health problems brought on by old age is worth every cent it takes to keep him alive, and Coty our rambutious collie puppy who keeps us all on our toes.  These 3 are a big part of my life.  I don't know what I'd do without everyone of my beautiful babies.
Here they are again.  Okay, I forgot to clean the kennel before I took the pictures.  It's usually not this bad, I promise.  My dogs are really picky about what corner they use.  They all use the same corner of the dog kennel, even if they're free in the yard, they always go to that corner of the kennel, but that's okay.  It makes it much easier to keep the kennel clean an sanitary(I'm usually a clean freek!)
Here are all 3 of my babies together.  Okay. so you try to get all 3 in one picture!  This isn't the best picture of them in the world, but at least it's better then nothing.  Kristi and Smoky share the side door dog house, it's been Smoky's since he was a puppy, or when Smoky won't share Kristi either uses the Doglo, or she shares the big dog house with Coty.
Here are my boys again.  Smoky is the watch dog on the house.  He loves to jump on his house in the summer when the neighbor's horse is in the pasture behind the kennel and just sir and watch the horse for hours, or sleep, or whatever.  He's our Snoopy dog.  Coty watches out and protects Kristi and Smoky.  He's a great protecter from cats, but if any person came by he'd just jump on them and lick them to death with his killer collie breath!
Here are my boys, Smoky and Coty.  After I got Coty, I started noticing the collie features in Smoky more and more.  Coty and Smoky are best friends most of the time, and Smoky does a good job of teaching Coty how to behave, although Coty is still just a pup, and it's going to take along time before he's as well behaved as Smoky.  Smoky's had alot more years to learn things.

This is my beautiful puppy boy.  He's such a naughty dog, but that's why I love him.  He loves to steal whatever you're working on so you'll pay attention to him until you get it back, and that includes blankets when it's time to go to bed!  Click on his picture to go to his page.
Here is Kristi and Smoky sharing the top of Smoky's dog house.  Kristi and Smoky are really close with each other.  They kept each other company after Sandy died.  It took me a while before I even considered a third dog again, and then I think I only did it because of the shelter Coty was at, but when I got the e-mail that there was a pure breed collie that needed a good home, I just couldn't say no.

Here is my old boy.  Smoky has been a big joy in my life.  I got him when he was only 8 weeks old.  Do to a bit of bad advise from a vet to buy an over the counter flea, tick, and misquito prention, Smoky got heartworm, and went through the 6 longest months of my life.  Now he is heartworm free, but the worms left some irreverable scaring on his lungs and heart, so while he'll never be a cross country runner, and he needs more frequent vet visits then the other two, he's still one of the best things that has ever happened to our family.  Click on his picture to go to his page
Here is my spoiled rotten Springer.  Kristi May adopted me from an animal shelter.  I wasn't even planning on adopting another dog.  She's more like a sister to me then a dog.  I've had several pictures taken professionally with us together.  She's the joy of my life, I think a little more so then her brothers, because she knew I needed her as much as she needed me.  She just had to teach me how much I really did need this joy in my life.  Click on her picture to go to her page.
