It Begins

Basic Framework of Fence and the boat is put in place. It looks creepy already. So far to go still.

Lighting The Way

Lighting was set up on Oct 7 shortly after placing the preliminary graveyard. We tend to hold off on the decorative headstones and the big props until closer to Halloween, to give them more impact. (And less chance to be vandalized or stolen!)

We actually work hard to create the right shadows in the right places. Amazing what a few colored flood lights can do. We save the big light shows for later, but the basics are up and well presented here.

Timmy Arrives!

Hellview Superstar, Timmy, arrived this year wearing a party hat to mark the occasion. He's getting the top spot at the graveyard this year."

Timmy assumes his place of honor at the top of the house. New arrival, Mr. Wiggly, is speared at his feet, lower down the roof.

Christine and Cemetery Upgrades

Christine now floats freely beside Hellview and is freed from the confines of the old house. Her eyes have been restored to there flame red color and all is as it should be.

New Effects

We've added a new effect for the side window. Our first Pepper's ghost effect. We used the Skull from BigScreamTV and our own rig to make a wonderful new holographic effect. Video and pictures don't do it justice. Make sure you take a minute to watch our normally drab windows.

Behind the scenes of that contraption coming soon.

Sound And Costumes

The sound effects run was completed on Oct. 24th and the mix is pretty good. Mostly Midnight Syndicate, of course, with some effects and Brainbug in for a simple macabre mix of audio horror. Our theme song actually came from a Muppet Movie which we slightly creepified, if you can believe it.

Costumes were checked on Oct. 24th as well. The Captain is sporting his new chestpiece this year.
