How people came to know the Lord |

From Keith, received on August 22, 2006....First this is a cool feature. How did I come to know Christ as my saviour. I always tell people its a two part process. Like so many others I asked Jesus into my heart from but never really let him in. The mouth part came at a Promise Keepers convention in Knoxville Tn in June of 1997.
After that as I lived like someone going to hell and not becoming of a christian I did a lot of drinking. I was never an alcoholic mind you but I was a heavy drinker. I never messed with heavy drugs even though I did smoke Pot a few times.
You see God got a hold of my heart a few days after 9-11. At the time I was living in Charleston Sc going to Culinary school. Two ladies came to our apartment door one being a pastor's wife and the other leader in a church down the street. The one lady(not the pastors wife) said to me if you died right now do you know if you would make heaven
Quite honestly like the ding bat I was and at times still am I couldn't give a clear answer, then it hit me.
You know what Im on my way to hell. Since then I have given my life Jesus Christ though I still have struggles I know I serve a Risen Saviour and he's in my heart today.

What God is doing in others lives |

From Keith, received on August 22, 2006...Well God is doing some great things in my life right now. He has given me the privledge and challenge of Discipling 10 teenagers at my church Stillwater Christian Church. He has blessed me with three great friends in Charlie. Also God has blessed me with a great friend in Mike. The Lord has used me and my peeps to lead over 800 souls to Christ this year at local fairs(www.fcfi.org). Praise God! I mean what can I say God is God no words could describe and no actions are loud enough to tell of the miraculous love of Jesus Christ and the love of a truelly wonderful father. |
