The manga that made out as the most popular amongst young kids: NARUTO!

Naruto, a young boy who became a ninja, was born with the Fox Tail spirit. He was chosen to be sacrificed to embed the wild spirit into him. He and his friends, also his teammates, Sasuke and Sakura (may differ based on translation language) grew up and trained to be ninjas together in the Konoha village. Soon Orochimaru from the Sound village became lust for Sasuke's power. As a very successful manga, Naruto proved itself popular - so popular that they were in the form of comic, anime, even plush toys and action figures! Mangaka Masashi Kishimoto really did it this time. Over 50 anime episodes, the Naruto anime is the next best thing to the original manga.

The manga that thrilled young boys who loved racing: Initial D!

All about street racing and drifting, and a little romance story, the Initial D made its way 2nd. My personal favorite! Initial D is all about a young high-school boy Takumi Fujiwara, who helps his dad in delivering tofu since Grade 7 (Secondary 1) using his dad's Toyota Corolla AE-86 Trueno. Gradually, he began mastering driving and drifting up and down the steep slopes of Mt Akina and becomes a true racer. Takahashi Ryousuke, from the Red Suns team, soon invited Takumi into his new built team called "Project D". Not long then, Takumi finally find out that his true race rival is his own dad. A manga series, over 25 episodes, are thrilling, each and everyone of them. 25 may sound too little, but the comic books are rather thick, thicker than most other comic books, filled with more pages, more thrills, more excitement. Drawn by mangaka Shuichi Shigeno, this manga is worth reading.

The manga that was, and is, every child's favorite: DORAEMON!

Doraemon, a cat shaped robot which came from the 22nd century in the future, goes back in time in order to help Nobita, a below average lazy kid, to make his life less miserable and improve his descendent's life. With many of Doreamon's gadgets from the future, Nobita's life will never be as the same. The manga series starts from episode 1 and ends at episode 45. Mangaka Fujiko. F. Fujio really had a great mind for thinking about the more-than-500 super cool (and sometimes super lame) gadgets-from-the-future. Too bad the 22nd century's gadget delivery system isn't as good as our current logistics express (DHL or UPS, for example) 'cause they always make a mistake and sends those gadgets to the wrong place! [laughs] For your information, the newest release Doraemon PLUS! series started 9 years following the death of mangaka Fujiko. F. Fujio.
