     The clear sky stretches along the horizon, uninterrupted apart from sporadic bursts in the air of dragons and their riders, coming from between above the weyr. The winding path leading up to the lower caverns of the weyr pass a large, deep lake. On the shore, both dragons and riders enjoy themselves, taking refuge from the day�s heat among the shallows.
     Amongst the cavorting pairs, a dazzling blue stands out, his bondmate not far away relaxing on the rocky beach. The blue dragon submerges himself beneath the water until only his nostrils poke above the surface, his gently swirling eyes glowing under the lazy surface.
     The rider, having missed seeing her dragon immerse himself, makes her way up to the water line. Immediately the blue launches himself out of the water, drenching his partner like some young hatchling might do. The soaked woman looks annoyed for a moment then bursts out laughing at her dragon�s antics. She flings her arms around the shimmering blue dragon�s well-muscled neck, and he swims her into the water, where they continue to romp around together.
