| Updates (1/17/09) : My brother and his wife moved back to Missouri but then moved back to Hawaii... and he is presently spending his third tour in Iraq. None of us here like that too well. We have only seen him 2 times in about 8 years or so. My grandpa White passed away a while ago and now my Grandma lives with my parents in Clarkston. And to boot, my favorite grandpa, Caetano, passed away suddenly from complications of heart surgery. One of Mike's family members passed away as well. And an old friend in Weippe, Idaho passed away as well. Kind of been a harsh couple of years. On a good note, the kids are doing well... growing fast. Steph is so in to sports and is still a straight "A" student. She also works part time at Perkins. Ricky just started high school, I think he is settling in well now. He took football last fall, but he's not in to sports that much. Dustin tried football too, I think he liked it. He struggles with classes but he tries hard. Cynthia tried soccer and tennis, but I don't think she likes them so well. She is still having a hard time with focussing on school... ADHD is hard to deal wih some times. But we are trying something new with the counselor, I hope it works. Mike's pacemaker caused him to change jobs again, he was woking at a log home building company but he can't be around high voltage so he was forced to look elsewhere... which was good I guess, because now the place is shut down due to the economy problems right now. And me, I am still working at the laundromat. I did work at the laundry too, pressing dry cleanning for a while till business slowed way down. Been thinking of getting a second job to fill in a bit. Other than that we are all trying to make it here in Montana. Bye For Now * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Old News: Well... let's see... My brother is back in Hawaii with his wife!! It is great... we're all happy he's home safe... The kids are still doing great in school... Steph won first place in the school's round of the National Geographic Bee and she is waiting to see how the district test turned out... we still don't know anything yet... and then she has the chance to go on to State finals and then hopefully Nationals in Washington DC.... Ricky's grades are improving well and Dustin's too. Cyndi just needs to sit still she does great other than that. Ricky's birthday went great and now so did Mackenzie's and now mine is just around the corner... next month... another year older! Well, so far Michael's kids haven't gotten to come to visit... We are planning a trip up there after taxes come back. We'll see what happens then. Colten has been chosen to go to Holland to play soccer... which is great but now we're all trying to raise money to get him there. It will cost $5000 for him to go. So we have till next year to get money saved... we are going to have yard sales, save cans, and even sell fishing flies and some stuff from my catalog... we are even taking donations... it's a lot of money... if you'd like to help just email me... it would be greatly appreciated....
