It is more costly than gotng outside

2.

more drink specials during big games, taco nights are great, perhaps do hot wings or other.

3.

More people in place at the end of tournamens. A waitress, one more bartender and someone to buss the tables. Happy hour everyday to increase business. Lower prices...if the Moose, Elks, VFW ie. can sell drinks way below our prices we're paying too much. If the prices are too high and a group of golfers don't have a second round how much money did we make from that last price increase? Someone to create a special atmosphere on holidays and other special day's. Stay open on holidays(on the forth of July more than 20 golfers sat on the patio drinking our own booze and watched as many others tried the door only to find it locked. Many hundreds of dollars were lost just that one day.)

4.

many years ago there was a fantastic sunday brunch where a chef cooked eggs to order etc but no longer

5.

IMportant to keep the furniture fresh and new in here. I brought potential homebuyers to LWW and we had a drink, but the funriture was old and unappealing. It may cause a bad impression.

6.

Very pleasant staff.

7.

Need more bartenders at times of special events

8.

Again the ever increasing costs of services deter me from using the Clubhouse on a regular basis. It is much more cost effective for me to buy the drinks & snacks at various grocery outlets with budget control.

9.

Should have additional bartenders on special nights. More bartenders, more drinks, more income.

10.

When offering drinks in celebration of the Kentucky Derby have a bar tender who knows how to make the drink offered.....We celebrated an anniversary in the Cedar Room...(Excellent Service and Food) last year. Our grandson (age 11) was found in the lounge. Do you allow un accompanied minors in the lounge? Suggest you observe obvious children who are there alone.

11.

It is very noisy (golfers) for diners who would like to visit a cocktail lounge before dinner.

12.

A more efficient method of ordering and receiving drinks is of paramount importance! A wait-person (not Suzanne) could be pulled from the Pine Room to work the bar at peak periods (after shotguns, tournaments, etc). It would be nice to have a "welcoming" presence in the bar...specifically after shotguns, such as snacks on the tables and place settings (it might encourage some of us to stay and eat, knowing it won't take forever to get served!). Also, I think prices on wines, in particular, are too high. Barrel chairs are NOT conducive to groups. After golf on Thursday, it would be nice to have an area set up ready for us instead of us having to go in, stand in line to order, hang over the bar (and other customers) to get our drinks, get our own snacks and drag chairs and tables in a group so we can sit together! Whew! Aren't you glad you asked???

13.

Everytime we decide to go to the clubhouse it is closed, 9 p.m. or 10 p.m.

14.

The mixed drinks offered always seem on the skimpy side. It would be better to charge more e.g. community competitive and provide a real martini instead of half of one.

15.

it could use improvement as well... same people serving - Mr. "no personality" - grumpy.... doesn't really endear anyone to go in and want to be engaged in conversation. You could drink at home -- when groups are in there ...they act as if it is a real hassle to serve them. Employees make or break a place....especially their attitudes.

16.

Tables too often are not clean.

17.

There are never enough bar tenders for big events resulting in many people ordering only one drink or giving up ordering entirely. Two bartenders bring orders to the table and clean the tables. Bob will not ever bring drinks to the table or pick up used glasses. We brought some friends in for a drink not long ago . We were the only people ( 4 ) in the lounge. We had to go to the bar to order and went back to our table thinking he would bring the drinks to us. When he had prepared them, he sat them on the bar and indicated that we should come over and pick them up. Once again - embarrassment. Some folks wrongly accused the men who bring their own drinks outside of the lounge of doing that because of the raise in prices. That is not at all the case. The reason is poor service.

18.

Stop gouging users of the lounge with increasing drink prices so non supporters of the lounge can enjoy lower assessment subsidies.

19.

same as comments for dining experience...POOR SERVICE by some, although some of the newer bartenders have improved the service considerable. It is much more pleasant than dining in the dining room, although when dining in the lounge, the service is just a bad as the dining room.

20.

The Lounge meets the needs of the major customer base - the golfers.

21.

service in the lounge varies depending on who is attending bar. Sometimes it is excellant..........

22.

Always enjoy going into the lounge

23.

Wine and drinks seem to be priced higher than they need to be compared to other country clubs. The new women bar tender and Ken are the best bartenders get rid of the rest.

24.

bar tenders fill the glasses full of ice and then pour the drink, Recently had a vodka tonic, had about 2 or 3 sips then just ice.

25.

Why aren't the hot dogs ready ?

26.

Irritating to have to order a drink at the counter rather than being served at the tables. Decor is dated. Climbing the hill when the shuttle is not in service is difficult.

27.

More bartenders during "events"

28.

Service level is usually better in the Lounge than in the dining rooms..

29.

Bob needs to work on his people skills. He has a tendency to cater to golfers and there are many of us who use the facility who don't golf. Sometimes he's very curt as if he's really being put upon to serve one's drink.

30.

we would like a larger dance floor, more dancing activiites, and update the bar area

31.

poor service. no cocktail waitress. watery drinks. when large groups are anticipated by scheduled events, management does not provide adequate bartenders. management of lounge and dining room extremely poor. I will not patronize the bar if it can be avoided. I had been spending $200+ per month, now $10. I will not stand in line to order a drink. lousy.

32.

We are personally not interested in the emphasis on having the "Sports Bar" theme.

33.

Stay open later Thurs thru Sunday

34.

The problem is service or lack of service. The bar management knows when there is a golf event but do not staff acordingly. Many members don't want to stand in line for 15 minutes for a drink and go home. There also needs to be a cocktail waitress to improve customer satisfication and revenue.

35.

As a golfer they seem to be out of hotdogs at the turn more than they are prepared. For my guests this is a typical sorry its Wildwood.

36.

Some prices are too high and fast food service is less than desirable

37.

I have gone to the Lounge about three times this year, but it is too small and you stumble over tables.

38.

Bartender Bob needs to find another occupation. He has no customer presence at all. Even my guests have commented... "what's his problem?" I know Bob is a good guy, but he just doesn't have a friendly bartender personality! Total opposite if Sarah and Chris... they are great.

39.

Schedule bartenders for "shot guns" and other golf activities .. Anyone but Bob! He makes you feel you are annoying him. Appreciate having the "cart" and the sandwiches available in the bar as well!

40.

Need better management. Tables and chairs more often than not, are a mess. Drinks are inconsistant.

41.

Prices are too high, you should get 24 drinks from one fifth of liquor, at four bucks a popthats $96 .. Do not use the bar to subsidize the restaurant

42.

The lady bartenders tend to be gracious and hardworking. No one needs a grump!

43.

When you want to eat in there, service is spotty.

44.

Sarah is a good addition to the lounge staff.

45.

lounge hours often cut short in eves when business is slow bartenders are paid to man this station not shut down early.

46.

Saturdays can be very difficult to get service even in the bar. Trying to get something while playing is extremely difficult. The beverage cart is the best source now and Lisa is great!

47.

During the weekend it closes a little too early.

48.

Lounge needs refurbishing.

49.

too noisy at times

50.

Fix the decor. It is not a "lodge" or a country cabin, lose the antlers. If it is a "sports bar", finish it. Go and look at an Appleblee's "lounge". Model your sportsbar after that. If it is not a sports bar, then go for sophistication so we and guests can be proud to go there.

51.

We need a bigger lounge area for taco night as well as other times when we could have entertainment in that room. The lounge is a profit center that should be enlarged!

52.

satisfaction of service is difficult to rate, because it depends who is on duty when one uses the lounge.

53.

When they have something going on such as shootgun tournament, 1 dollar toco night and so on. They should have more than one bartender, with people backed up four deep, or more at the bar.

54.

Same answer as the Clubhouse ~ rebuilt and or do a major renovation

55.

Since we are not golfers, seems they should have their OWN bar and lounge facility. Crowded too often, but non-golfers like Karaoke, Taco night, TV games, and feel the bar is jammed with like-minded folks, which is fine, for them ...but cliques should be avoided in a home owner's association....which is often not the case in some Wildwood activities. Golfers should realize that non-golfers don't talk golf at all, so they are at a loss for conversation? And golfers and non-golfers alike appreciate ambience...not in this lounge. If you like ambience, and atmosphere, drink and visit at home. No color in this lounge, and no fine furniture, artwork, background music, all sports and macho....not good.

56.

no sound during programs related to sports activities..........no real evening hours of operation

57.

Ken is a wonderful bartender - always kind, always ready to serve.

58.

The recent price increases seem to be too high.

59.

See answers above for Clubhouse.

60.

Set up a seperate accounting for the bar and restaurant so memembers know how much each earns or costs. DO NOT SHOW ONE ACCOUNT FOR BOTH AS THE BAR PROBABLY MAKES A PROFIT

61.

Grumpy bar tenders, grumpier patrons and generally a low class environment. Cheap rather than good!

62.

The last time we were there no waitress was available, and I understand that's the norm. It would be more profitable if a waitress would bring drinks to the table. Most of us would probably drink more!!

63.

The employees should refrain from talking about customers behind their back and also refrain from talking about work problems in general, makes for an unpleasant experience.

64.

When there is a theme dinner, ie; Mexican, etc: the bar should be more prepared and have specials like margaritas in advance. The lines are too big and the wait too long at these events. Also you have one older man that is a bartender and he is a super grouch. When he is tending bar we have a tendency to stay away. The others are great. Taco night is a plus.

65.

Stay open later.

66.

Please get rid of those giant 70's style chairs! This is a perfect spot for a sports bar, maybe even golf themed, hello it is at a golf course and it could be perfectly tied into my suggestions for the restaurant, the plasma T.V. is a perfect start! Maybe some friendly service, that would also be a welcomed addition! Get rid of the "Lounge" thing and call it a "Pub" or something else more appealing and up to date! I think the kareoke,D.J. and prices are great!! But back to the chairs, the "Lounge" is too small for such big chairs.. what if someone wanted to bring a wheelchair in there, no room whatsoever!!

67.

During events get more help.

68.

I have enjoyed the buffet that was available to the lounge/bar guests while watching sports on tv. I would suggest more large screen tv's to allow for the watching of sports and creating a low-key place to take guests.

69.

Fire the bar manager and the Bob; get people with customer service skills and a smile! Change-up the happy hour appetizer menu; reduce wine costs - don't get greedy!

70.

We love the $1 taco nights and the good pricing on beer and wine. It makes for a fun night out without having to spend too much money or go uptown. Keep running the fun specials to get people in there and have fun with fellow LWWer's

71.

Drinks have become to pricey.

72.

none

73.

Old and tired...needs updating

74.

only problem has been waiting in line when it's crowded, why can't planning beforehand take care of this?

75.

Most staff is very helpful and personable. One of us is not comfortable patronizing this lounge.

76.

My suggestion is that we build a new Club House in the same spot and move the admin office to another location. We now have permanent residents vs. weekender and the price of housing is up from the ordinal concept of the commuity. It's time we up scale our Club House to meet the up scale of the community. We should have spent the money on our Club House and not our community Center.

77.

Taco nights are filled with people. It would be nice to have the bartender have help with the tables.

78.

Max is always very nice and efficient!

79.

you can't mix 1)golfers coming in after a game for a drink 2)slobs(male and or female)coming in for a beer 3)diners wanting a drink before dinner. this simply doesn't work,so,many people just stay away!

80.

very small. too small.

81.

Some of the bartenders will wait on you at your table but other are terrible. We had one exceptional bartender but you got rid of her, there is another but you hardly let him work. We have seen drinks sit at the bar in the evening for a dinner table and they won't even get off their BUTT and serve them and there not busy, I guess its not their JOB, well it should be. Something need to be done, the good people don't seem to get the hours, & the ones that don't care get all the hours.....Something is wrong

82.

We like the big screen event activities, like the Kentucky Derby and other horse races. We also like going over for a few minutes after the Kid's Night Out.

83.

"Lipstick on a pig", is a gerat way to describe the lounge. Let's burn the place down and start over.

84.

Service is horrible after shotgun starts. One bartender doesn't cut it. Bar prices are higher than most other clubs.

85.

Not enough help on Taco night

86.

the prices seem a little high, however, we're sure it's just a sign of the times as well.

87.

Again, it is access. Older guests have difficulty, even with shuttle.

88.

We are new to Lake Wildwood and will reserve our opinion on some of the above until we get better familiar with the runnings of the Club House. Thank You

89.

It's my opinion the 75% or more of the lounge activity comes from golfers and that the lounge is a full amenity of the association. However, the board of directors seems to feel the charging more for drinks is ok to make up for losses in the restaurant because it's at the expense of the golfers instead of charging the association. an example of this is the last increase of $.25 a drink. when asked how much this would increase revenue the answer was about $5000. when asked why we don't charge to association an extra $2.00 per household we were told to sit down.

90.

Could use a larger place for Karaoke with the same ambiance.

91.

Drinks are too costly for the amount of alcohol in them.

92.

Our Clubhouse Lounge makes the absolute best Bloody Mary we have ever tasted--and we are not the only ones that say so! We hear that Taco Night is fabulous--will be trying it on Monday.

93.

Raise the drink price. Change Pine Room to pub with pub food and leave the tv in the lounge.

94.

Service has improved, especially in the evenings. Although the Lounge may be mainly designed for the golfers, not too happy with the sports bar look.

95.

Piano intertainment

96.

The noise from the clubhouse lounge is very annoying to people having dinner in the Pine room.

97.

There needs to be a better noise separation from the lounge and the Pine Room in the evening. I dislike eating dinner when I can hardly carry on a conversation because of the din from the drinking crowd. Same comment when they migrate into the dining area.

98.

The beverage cart service is excellent. Lisa does a great job!

99.

Access is poor, takes effort to get up there, if the shuttle is not running

100.

Again, the place looks old! I know we just improved the lounge a couple of years ago, but it still leaves much to be desired.

101.

Addition bartenders during special events. More space for socializing and possibility of smaller arm chairs. Very cramped and hard to move around.

102.

The cost of the Clubhouse facilities is a big issue with the Club. However, whenever there is a big event at the golf course or any event that increases the number of customers in the lounge, there is never enough help to satisfy the demand. For example, when the Club has free our'deourves on Fridays, which always attracts more customers, there is still only one bartender. Since you serve dinners on Friday, why not ask the waitresses if any would like to come in early and serve drinks in the lounge. I'm sure the cost would be more than covered by the increase in the number of drinks served.

103.

the Sr. bartender is not customer oriented , maybe he's been here to long. My wife asked him to turn down the TV for her Mahjong group. He told her that he was watching it. HUH? glad I wasn't present. Max & the others are more customer oriented, will clean tables & ask if you need refills. There seems to be a problem w/ coordinating w/ dinning room, most sundays 4 of us finish golf want drinks & eat in the lounge to watch sports. Tough to get attention. If we tell the bartender, they will get someone, otherwise, w/ an empty dinning room (it is also empty of servers). I know of others that we used to see regularly are not coming in due to the lack of attention ... their bar bills are not insignificant for sure.

104.

need to give more working hours to your quaility bartenders, instead of hiring new bartenders. Especially those bartenders that live here in lake wildwood. It is common sense that if one is paying to live here their performance would be exceptional.

105.

Prices for drinks are too high

106.

Taco nights are GREAT!

107.

Again, parking is problem to walk up hill.

108.

We use the internet service, which is a great resource for us as part-timers. The service could be a little better. The prices are the lowest I have seen in California, I don't know how they can be that cheap.

109.

level of service depends on individual serving

110.

Best run facility at Lake Wildwood.

111.

Seating needs to be updated

112.

Wish Ken had more hours as bartender. He is superior.

113.

Due to our economic status, visits to the Clubhouse/Lounge and entertainment have drastically been reduced.

114.

During busy times a cocktail waitress would free up the lines at the bar, utilize some of the restaurant staff and in general improve service.

115.

the t.v. is always on and too loud

116.

Please increase your hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

117.

It's great that there is soup, chili and hot dogs (sometimes hot dogs) available, but it would be nice if the selection of soup was rotated so you get a different soup on certain days.

118.

Use clubhouse lounge for karaoke events only.

119.

Prices should be increased to allow for profit and future upgrades in beverages, such as wine selections, and service staff as well as ambiance.

120.

Again too expensive (except the Tacos!). We feel uncomforable not leaving a tip and the tips seem to need to be large. We enjoy our deck at home and seeing friends there for much less money.

121.

The lounge is OK but it could use some dressing up. The decorations at special times of the year are great but aside from that nothing has changer since Danny Gentile did some decorations.

122.

coolers for golf carts should be provided/rented for golfers to keep on their carts with purchase of beverages. water, soda and beer should be kept cold for golfers comfort on the course and the club should help provide this.

123.

At times when special events are going on the lounge doesn't seem to be staffed adaquately. Friday night happy hour is sometimes backed up.

124.

Prices went up...BOOO! Hey , if you are going to lose money on anything in the Lake Wildwood portfolio it should be at the bar, at least the members will be happy!!! Cheap drinks, cheap food=happy people

125.

I think it's great they have done improvements around there, but it still could use a makeover in the Bar area. Plus offer more h'doevres and especially quality of h'doevres...again it goes back to hiring a decent chef. Please see my comments on the restaurant. I would go there FAR MORE OFTEN if the food were good.

126.

needs to be more like a sportsbar

127.

The recent "improvements" to the lounge have not made nearly enough progress in updating it to an attractive modern facility -- it needs to be brightened and made more cheery.

128.

At times you have to wait for a drink forever and not because there busy..... Golfers like there hot dogs but NO one has time for that. More ambiance needed.

129.

Could use more bartenders at all peak times(events)!!!!

130.

would like to have appitezer menu.

131.

The clubjouse needs to be open longer during the week and weekends. Most younger famalies don't get off of work untill after 5pm and that only leaves a couple of hours. It would be nice to go to the lounge to watch sporting events in the evening, like the World series, Monday night Football.

132.

Longer lunch menu hours (even if it is a limited menu) would be nice. This would accomodate the golfers who cannot get early tee times yet still want a lunch or a snack after a round of golf. I would tend to order more from the bar if I could get some decent food to go with it.

133.

I don't think it is reasonable for the bar to charge $4.50 for low quality wines, and to charge so much for simple well drinks. It seems that the assoc. is trying to make back sufficient funds from the bar that they loose in dining rooms business. This only pushes people away, and we go home and have a very nice drink with much better wine and spirits for much less. We are only there because we come there for golf. Why would I ever go there just for a drink. If I have guests, my home has much better Ambiance and refreshments.

134.

Need to make sure there are enough bar tenders to accommodate larger groups of people so there are not lines waiting to get drinks.  If there are lines people will leave and go home rather than stay and have another drink or even stay for dinner.

135.

Quality of service indicated unsatisfied has to do with bartenders. The best you have is Ken - he is very attentive and professional.

136.

Unsatisfied--Level of service-- cost of drinks--When we had people who took the time to pick up dirty glasses and take orders at the tables, you fired them.

137.

STILL THINK BONNIE WAS THE BEST BARTENDER

138.

Not a regular customer so I feel like I am ignored by the staff. Love the bargain taco night and the special prices offered on variety of drinks.

139.

Should have a coctail waitress on Friday and Sat. Music Friday of Saturday would help.

140.

Service is spotty.

141.

When playing golf, most of the time the hot dogs/or soups are not ready at the turn around and the bartender has no desire to accomodate the golfers. Also, I believe the women support the Clubhouse Lounge as much as the men, but there is only three photos of women on the wall and they none of them are contemporary. And why is a surf board over the door in the lounge. I am from Santa Barbara and I could understand it there, but in Lake Wildwood!

142.

Lounge needs a major remodel or build a new, larger facilitiy

143.

Poor service. Tables should be placed outside for the smokers to be able to sit and have a drink.

144.

Have enough bartenders for popular events.

145.

Service bad, quality of liquor for price is bad.

146.

Hot dogs and Tacos good. Need peanuts

147.

Chairs are agonizing for 2 hour club meeting

148.

Thursday - Sunday service is unacceptable.

149.

should have service at the tables when busy

150.

Walkways not too good, Too narrow Lounge to small

151.

Too pricey for a private club.

152.

Bob is lazy and surly.

153.

Bartender has responsibility to maintain well kept lounge

154.

use better bar bourbon EARLY TIMES
