we have had 2 banquets there and both times the food and service were highly praised by our guests!

2.

more organic and vegitarian dishes, portions seem to be geeting smaller, need more options, creativity. Buffets are not good at all we stopped going.

3.

Service is not very professional at times, and lacking in attentiveness.

4.

The last price increase for drinks was uncalled for. If the Moose, VFW, Eagles and the Elks, clubs that own their own bars, can sell drinks well below our prices we are paying too much. A typical golfer will stop and have a drink with friends. The higher the cost the less they drink. If a group has one less round how much money did we make by raising the prices?? I say we lost money. Not only that, the golfers are subsidising the restaurant more than a typical Wildwooder that doesn't frequent the bar because of the higher cost.

5.

Service is often slow- too slow. at a recent golf event we waited over 45 minutes to be served and I left without the lunch I paid for.

6.

Service is spotty. The food is inconsistant. We rely on it for lunch mostly. We are more dissapointed in the dinners. The service falls apart any time an unexpected group comes in for a meal. Staffing seems to be a big problem. Service in the Cedar room can also be poor, as can the quality of the meal.

7.

Nice to see improvements always being made.

8.

As for the quality of the food served, it varies, and one cannot be certain whether it will be good, bad, or awful at any given time you attend a function in the clubhouse. We hesitate bringing guests for that reason.

9.

Quality of food and service is still inconsistent.

10.

Quality oif meals and service is very inconsistant. Some of the more experienced workers have the poorest attitude. Im would pay more for better quality of food. Taco night has been a big hit Salad bars are generally good. Haveing no corkage fee is a great ove.

11.

Food is expensive.....Service can be poor......Ambiance needs greatly improved....New paint, valances, blinds, rugs, etc...Wiring is unsafe. Have tripped over wiring connected to the buffet hot areas more than once. Seats are in path of traffic going to kitchen...Set up is really poor

12.

none

13.

The food and service have improved over the past year, but we can find better value (ambiance, food and service) in GV or NC.

14.

Wiring exposed during Thurs Night Hot Buffetts. Tips expected for self service. Enviornment poor with old lighting, old rugs, old curtains, to the point where appetites disi appear.

15.

The quality of food AND service is not consistent. When Mark Phalen is cooking the quality of the food is excellent. The food leaves the kitchen hot and is prepared well. When Janet is present the service is better and the staff seem to work as a team better. Wanda is flawless with her service. Erin is also excellent. Most are good. There are two I will request not to have serve my food because they consistently screw up orders with missing items, incorrect items and inattention to pace of dining and beverage. We recently sponsored a banquet for 82 people and it was done to perfection because we ask for people we knew would do the job well.

16.

Service is the biggest complaint. We have only eaten breakfast there for the past few years due to the quality of the food/service at other times. I have had discussions about the clubhouse food many times with board members - the excuses under Bill's reign were always the same. My recommendation would be to charge each lot an $100 assement ($280,000) and give them ten - $10 chits to use in the clubhouse. It would increase usage by most - it would provide extra funding to hire the right type of employees full time to provide quality food and service and then the attendence would pick up and require less subsidizing... we are all subsidizing an inferior product now. If $100 isn't enough - make it $200 - fix the problem.

17.

Please check-out the Pleasant Valley Grill on ANY evening. 85% of the patrons are LWW residents who are subsidizing the Club House Restraurant each and every year but still refuse to use it. Wake up and smell the flowers!

18.

Staff needs a good training program. Service and food quality is inconsistent. Everytime we have taken guests for dinner it as been embarrassing due to poor service and food.

19.

Our children hosted an anniversary party for us in the Cedar Room last year and we all were very satisfied with the food, the service, and the ambiance. They also felt that the costs were quite reasonable.

20.

need food priced for families

21.

Food service too often is poor. Food quality is uneven. We do not bring guests to clubhouse to eat because of these factors.

22.

Most of our meals are n connection with club associations. IE Sirs

23.

We only come to LWW 2 or 3 times a year and like the Clubhouse and the food

24.

The service is very poor overall. I belong to an organization that used to have its luncheon of about 85 people here twice a year. The last time it was held here, the food and the service were so poor that the organization has decided to never have its luncheons here again. Those of us who live here were very embarrassed and when we complained via the cards in the dining room, we were never contacted even though we signed our names and included our phone numbers. When we told the manager and the assistant manager, we did not receive an apology, nor were we given any discount for the poor food and poor service. One entire table was never served until others were finished and we alerted the only waitress. All of the quiches were hard and tasteless. Most of the salmon was overcooked. Now I go only once a month because my small club of 8 goes. We have been so disapointed so many times, that we no longer patronize the restaurant at any other times. That is also true for a number of friends who are LWW residents. For example, last evening, a party of 14 members had dinner at Kane's where we had wonderful food and wonderful food and Lake Widlwood missed out on a total tab of drinks and food of just under $1000.

25.

About 4 mos. ago, we were in a party of 8 ( 6 members and 2 outsiders),at the then, special Sunday dinners. Four different menu items were ordered. All 8 diners were dissatisfied with their meals. None of the 6 members have since returned to the clubhouse for dinner. The paper wrapped fish was extremely dry. The wrong sauces were on the meat dishes. Other meals were overcooked. It was 8 bad meals.

26.

We had a horrible service expericnce during our last visit. Our server total misrepresented my wifes meal. We were told about a special that wasn't being prepared that night. A second choice was also not what she said and the the third choice was just ok. We were not offered any discount or anything during this horrrible time. We may never come back. The bill reflected the higher priced item we never got and we had to correct this error also. Any private restaurant would have offered us something for our terrible service and confusion. You can pass this on if you want and give me a call 432-1275

27.

We travel a great deal and, when we do, we eat out often. When we're home, therefore, we usually prefer to eat at home. However, on those few times we have eatern at the Clubhouse, we've been very satisfied, particularly within the past year.

28.

Stop gouging the users of the dining facility with higher prices just to reduce assessment subsidies for non users of the facility.

29.

Our general dining out activity is done as part of running errands so its lunch not dinner. The elevated quality of the clubhouse service and food seems to have been priced beyond that elsewhere in the community.

30.

lunch menu and quality is fine; dinner is not fine, costs too much for the quality; want more healthful choices; don't need regular dinner option; maybe a bistro menu, breakfast/lunch only; main complaint is service...service ok until time for check, then long wait; perhaps have cash register so waitress isn't processing food and cash;

31.

Pricing, sometimes quality, and sometimes service

32.

The customer service (and customer experience) when dining at the clubhouse or bar has become a joke for the residents within LWW. The service is so poor that it ruins the entire dining experience. We will never again bring any of our guests to dine here because it has caused us embarrasment too many times. The supervision by management for proper employee training and providing excellent customer service is nearly non-existent. This is the primary reason that the dining facilities are not better supported by LWW residents and that the dining and bar operations lose money. It is usually not a pleasant or fun experience. Most people prefer dining in local restaurants and bars when dining out. LWW is simply an occasional convenience, which should not be the case because overall the quality of food is pretty good. The breakfasts are the best to be found anywhere in Nevada County.

33.

sometimes the food is great other times it is so so We would go more if the food was consistently good

34.

We have really enjoyed the "Kids night out" dining since we have a small child and it is affordable.

35.

We seldom dine at the clubhouse due to past disatisfaction but we're trying it again and quality and service seems to be improving

36.

In the winter months, evening diners look at dark, black windows instead of the lovely landscape outside due to a lack of lighting on those trees (even the more distant ones could be lit with flood lights). The best restaurant view in the county is not taken advantage of. The service has been inconsistent and often just unacceptable in the 7 years we have lived here. That includes the kitchen workers who have taken up to an hour to deliver a meal. Some of the experiences are good. But it only takes 2 or 3 bad experiences out of 10 to keep people from returning. Consistency is key! $12 for a Thursday buffet dinner that falls far short of, say, the buffet at LinQ near Raleys for about $3 less ($5 less at lunchtime) is too much. And LinQ obviously makes a profit whereas our restaurant loses 6 figures a year. What's wrong with that picture? All the restaurants in our area must make some profit or they would close. Why can't our restaurant with all that lovely outside ambiance at least break even? We have all but given up hope for the facility, but still, hopefully, check it out once or twice a year just to see if it is has improved. It often has not. One problem from my angle, it is managed by non professionals with little to no experience or success in the business. And there is too much loyalty toward unmotivated, untrained staff. I suspect the help is not paid enough to attracted good help. The former GM kept telling us that it was normal for closed community restaurants to lose big bucks. Most of us aren't buying that. We have over 5000 within our gates who love to dine out (they populate the local restaurants). Figure out a way to bring them in or close it down. How about letting a pro manage it rent free. He absorbs any profits (or losses) and LWW saves maybe $150K+ per year in lost revenue. Free rent may be the carrot to attract some talent! Might be worth a try.

37.

The clubhouse is out of date and not competitive with outside resturants. It is not known for anything except bad service and cheap prices. The subsidy we pay is way too high and getting worse. We need to make a drastic change in the operation of this amenity. It may be a luxury we can't afford.

38.

The location is fine for golfers. We need a clubhouse on the lake. We own four lots on the lake near the dam.

39.

service is slow. Food is just okay and the prices are expensive.

40.

The service is below standards - slow and sometimes forgetting part of the order. The people on the premises and waiting for service should be attended to before spending time on the phone talking with customers

41.

Choosing food that tastes good and is satisfying is like picking a store to buy greeting cards from. Some stores seem to have lots of great choices, some seem to have a wall of choices, but very little recommends itself. I can buy a slice of prime-rib at the club house and it tastes like too much like potroast to me. Often the menue sounds exciting, but it tastes pretty plain to me. I'm not asking for red pepper - that's a cheesy way to 'spice' food. I loved the Clubhouse during the brief tenure of the former Mrs. Cerino - whatever her current name is. Did she prove to difficult or demanding? For my family's part, we think we need someone with her imagination and palate.

42.

servers need reminding that their responsibility is to create a pleasing atmosphere for their patrons by prompt attention and cheerful attitude. When good service is #1 priority the food automatically tastes better!

43.

Service is very poor, to many standing around looking busy or pouring water. Not enough serving, have to wait way to long to get our check. Menu selection is not good, maybe you need to go back to a more simple menu, it does not have to be fancy just tasty. Maybe concentrate more like a steak house. Look to what age group is more likely to use the club. We find it hard to dine at the club with our grandkids. The breakfast and lunches are excellent and no need for change. Just need to work on dinners, we want just good food! It should be at least as good as I can do at home. Check please

44.

Pierre is doing an exceptional job under very difficult circumstances. The diversity of tastes and expectations of the patrons is challenging.

45.

The quality of the food and service is not consistant

46.

open early for breakfast when shotgun starting time are in effect.

47.

Bus people could be better trained to assist wait staff.

48.

the cosmetic facelift a year/so ago was worth the effor and money

49.

some waitresses are rude and cater to certain customers and treat others as if they are a bother. more outside dining would occur if staff serviced the area with a smile rather than an attitude.

50.

I think the service and food has improved in quality over the past year. However, it is still inconsistent.

51.

The practice of having the dining room closed during the day several days each week has inhibited our use of the facility. We often go out to lunch on the spur of the moment, and we no longer waste our time going up the hill to see if the place is open or not on those occasions.

52.

Needs upgrading very dated.

53.

mediocre quality re taste, sporadic good service, what more can we say?

54.

We have neverfelt the food quality was consistent or very satisfactory. Sometimes we have an excellent meal, but not often so we tend not to think of it when we want to go out to dinner.

55.

Quality of food and quality of service are very inconsistant.. This questionaire should have a column for "neither satisfied, nor dissatisfied" which would be more approriate.

56.

Need more healthful foods. More California style cuisine. Less midwestern Meat-and-potatoes type food.

57.

We used to go to the Club for Brekfast, lunch or dinner quite often. Now, we go there occassionally for breakfast. There were many times when the service was so poor, we swore that we would never go there again. If the membership is subsidizing the club house (restaurant), then lets subsidize it. Let's get some properly trained waitpeople & buspeople, and pay a decent wage to keep the good ones.

58.

It would be a very kind thing to retire Suzanne, the poor thing has yet to get an order correct and we have lived here 10 years ? We do not wish to offend her but we dislike requesting not to have her be our server. The last time we ate at the club she told our server in front of us that we should have been seated in her section. We requested to not be in her section. It was uncomfortable for us all. It's just more comfortable to go somewhere else so we do. This is too bad because we pay for our Club House and do not use the dining roms. We eat breakfast and lunch out often but not here. We know Suzanne has been a problem for many, many people. What hold does she have over management in the diningroom? Wouldn't it be wise to retire her and gain diners? It's a shame.

59.

update the restaurant and bar area, larger dance floor and more dancing activities

60.

service is very uneven as is the food quality...........if the Pleasant Valley Grill can serve good food at a price lower than the clubhouse perhaps we should make some changes

61.

I would suggest we focus the dining at the club house to be more of a Grill Room and not have the costs to be something more that breakfast, lunch and dinner that is like the Pleasant Valley Grill (as an example).

62.

I think everyone would want to use LWW dining more because of the loaction. The problem is not value for the dollar but quality for the dollar. It is an embarrassment to bring an ouside guest. The dining facility needs a fresh start........clean the slate and start over.

63.

Fewer items and better quality. Include a $50-$100 increase in yearly fees to improve the quality so it is a place where people want to go.

64.

For group events the buffet is usually very poor, (Little Theater). The food is over cooked, dry eggs and no taste. The service sometimes is good when I go for dinner on weekends, sometime not. Most of the time when I go for dinner, the meal is good. I only go about five times a year tho.

65.

Open with a full dinner menu more nights

66.

Food poor quality; cold; Not a good value for the price. We would eat at the club more often, if the food was good. Even for golf meals, the food is not up to par!!! We have talked with management but no improvements have been made. Main item-- tough meat and COLD.

67.

More "clean" healthy food choices. Sauted veggies, turkey burgers, noodles, less fried.

68.

1. We used to dine at the Clubhouse Dining Facility many times a month. But food quality has deteriorated in the past several years and the price of food is now outrageous. This is compared to most restaurant outside of Lake Wildwood. Shut the present Clubhouse down and build another one by the North Gate so the non-members can use the facility more readily with boat docks for the lakeside residences. Also the view of the lake is a ready made attractor for all comers.

69.

There isn't a category for in between Satisfied and Unsatisfied............that is where we would be. There is no consistency. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes it isn't. Sometimes the service is good and sometimes it isn't. Sometimes the food is okay, but the service isn't and vice versa. Consistently good AND HOT food and good service are not there.

70.

We haven't been to the Clubhouse since last Thanksgiving, when we took our family there and the food and service was terrible. We're both ovo-lacto vegetarians, and generally see very few dinner items advertised in Bits & Pieces that would interest us.

71.

Often the service is sub-standard. Late with checks, no water/drink refills, slow delivery.

72.

The biggest problem with the Clubhouse is getting consistency in food and service!!!

73.

Sometimes when busy the service is not so good since it appears that they are understaffed.

74.

The clubhouse should be at parking lot level. The lounge is poorly maintained and drinks are inconsistant and under-poured. Would not mind paying more for a good drink.

75.

Very good value, friendly service, good menu, very good food for lunch. Haven't found the dinners to be as good as the lunches

76.

Variety of the salad bar is sad...see Tack Room for the right way..Too many orders confused by the wait staff

77.

For a private club, service is inconsistent and tends to be poor, and the value proposition is simply not there. We have had two experiences, with guests, where our orders were taken and then not served within AN HOUR! We now don't use the dining facility when we have guests, because of this lack of trust in your service. Also, as a golfer, why couldn't I get a simple breakfast before playing in the morning?

78.

Our main complaint is the constant confusion about the hours open; I typically forget about the clubhouse and go elsewhere (Pleasant Valley Grill or Grass Valley/Nevada City haunts), since I ASSUME the clubhouse is NOT open when we choose to go out. I would do the following to improve: 1. Have the clubhouse open 7 DAYS a week understanding that it will lose money (add the loss into the general assessment. My prediction is that the Clubhouse will NEVER be a money maker, but it sure hads quality and value to LWW! )

79.

Hours change too freguently.

80.

Some servers are better than others. Regular menu prices are a little high ($8.50 for a hamburger) but the weekly buffets are a good value.

81.

I'd like it available for breakfast 7 days. Consider mandatory resident minimum payment/usage to increase usage and quality.

82.

servers great, food so,so,prices not in line with quality, bar prices ridiculous, etc.

83.

The quality of the food and service would have to improve dramatically for us to use on a regular basis. Of the staff Laurie, Lisa (golf cart) and Sara in the bar provide the best service. Most of the others seem to just work there and accept things the way they have been.

84.

Bathrooms need to be updated.

85.

Keep the dinner menu simple. Service at night is excellent, service for breakfast is SUPER SLOW. So slow, we stopped going even the food is very good.

86.

Food and service is inconsistent. Access for those with mobility issues is unacceptable.

87.

5 Years ago I brought the entire crew from work to the clubhouse for lunch, The waitress was so inept that none of those people including me wanted to ever come back. I chose to give the clubhouse another chance last week and to my dismay I had the same (no shit) waitress and she managed to screw up my order again. Nice lady but inept as a waitress. I hesitate to go back on the chance that I will get her again. I don't want to hurt her fellings but she is too distracted, or perhaps too simple to get it right. She is costing us return patrons. Good luck with that problem.

88.

We miss the breakfast hours during the week.

89.

Food quality is inconsistent.

90.

We will be using club house facilities more often in the future

91.

To avoid having to climb the hill, we geneally use our golf cart to visit the club.

92.

Service is inconsistent. Some times it's good other times slow at best. Seems to be at its worst when we have out of town guests.

93.

Continue to provide TRAINING for bussers, servers. Customers should never sit for several minutes without at least being greeted or water and menues brought. Every customer should be acknowledged, even if they are not seated at that particular server's "station" or table.

94.

The best solution would be to move the dining facilities to Commodore Park and provide a secure method of allowing non-residents access to our facilities. This might also provide an opportunity for people to view all the amenities we have to offer,as well as provide monetary gains for the clubhouse.

95.

Do not understand why area restaurants have better service, better food, and more people eating there than our clubhouse.

96.

It needs an elevator for older guests. Your best asset, Janet, should be given more responsablities and higher salary.

97.

I tend to like the clubhouse but the staff is not always friendly. There is one seasoned waitress in particular who has such a bad attitude that I have stopped taking friends to the clubhouse. I can't imagine how she keeps her job.

98.

BREAKFASTS GREAT, LUNCHES VERY GOOD, DINNERS HAVEN'T HAD ONE IN TEN YEARS I COULD SHOUT ABOUT. HOE EVER I HEAR FROM REGULARS THAT DINNERS HAVE BEEN BETTER IN PAST SEVERAL MONTHS.

99.

We are never sure other than buffet nights or taco nights whether the quality and service will be good or poor. It just doesn't seem like employees are well organized or well managed. Because of the employee overhead and benefits it is difficult to keep that operation in the black. At some point in time we might consider asking a outside vendor to take over the dining operation rent free. I wonder is the owner of the Penn Valley Grill would be interested in a rent free resturant?

100.

1. BUILD ELEVATOR ACCESS TO CEDAR ROOM LEVEL FROM TUNNEL. 2. BEAUTIFY TUNNEL;E.G.: LIGHT COLORED PAVING (CONCRETE OR PAVING STONES), TUNNEL WALLS LIGHT COLOR REFINISH OR ADD LIGHT COLORED SIDING AND OR STONE, ADD MORE LIGHTING.

101.

the dining room should include an elevator for access. It should not used as a permanent art gallery for painting talent; I would suggest less paintings per available wall space. I do admire art.

102.

Lunch is usually very good, the service is acceptable and the food is good. However something happens when dinner is served, the food is'nt very good, it takes for ever to be served, so we just stopped going there for dinner. We will not be embarrassed again in front of family and friends!

103.

It is embarrassing to take guest to our shabby looking clubhouse. I would like to see it torn down and rebuilt and or have a major renovation.

104.

We love sunday breakfast and so do our 3 kids. We now know your fantastic staff and it is always a great start to our day. Thank you.

105.

Bargain meals seem to be a hit (taco nite sure is). You should have a voucher payment system. People would charge like crazy. Golf cart gal is GREAT!!

106.

The service is a bit slow, but I can understand why. It is not a big problem.

107.

Rarely, the service is slow....but when it is it IS Bad. We think Pierre doing great job with Janet. Generally, other than Thursday buffets, the food is excellent. No complaints. We love Mom's Day, Easter brunch, and other special holidays with our families.

108.

We are satisfied, but think the prices are increasing too much.

109.

Food preparation-fair. Service-pleasant, but very slow.

110.

i would use it more if the decor and the food were better.

111.

Many times the wait for service is much too long

112.

Inconsistent service and quality

113.

The food is good

114.

hats after golf not allowed in dining room........closes too early for lunch......

115.

facility needs some renovation....trapped in the past.....update bathrooms.....repaint dining area...replace fixtures....remove the amatuer art work off the walls...and whats with the miniture village doing there???lets professionally decorcate it and make look and feel like a fine diningexperience....we've got a good building but its just stuck in past...lets spend a few dollars and make it a place you'll frequent more and be more inclined to entertain guests.

116.

It is a shame you have closed for breakfast on Mondays........I dined with a friend every Monday morning for the past 2 years.

117.

The level of service is inconsistent depending primarily on the server. Often, we still can't get our bill paid and getting someone's attention is difficult. Some servers are excellent others are terrible and the bad ones have been here forever. Food quality varies constantly. It is known that on Tuesday after the Women Niners golf, many ladies have lunch and yet there is rarely enough servers to accomodate orders, etc., in a timely fashion.

118.

The service staff needs training. The skill level is low to very good. The service is inconsistent. Some servers are very good and others need training. The busing kids are not attentive. t

119.

Food and service are terrible. The last time I used the clubhouse was 3/17, I wrote a comment card and when I tried to discuss it with Pierre, he became physically confrontational and threatened to have me removed from the clubhouse. This was just 4 days after I met with Bill Haushaulter, Pierre and Max and was told that the best way to communicate was through comment cards. Prior to 3/17, I spent approximately $2,500/year at the clubhouse. Since 3/17, zero. How can our restaurant pay no rent and lose approx $250K/yr. Answer, bad management who has driven good customers away and provided no incentives for new customers to come! Successful clubhouses know their customers and maintain a database about them. If someone has a child in youth golf, they send out invitations to them for use at the next youth event for 2 for 1 dinner or free dessert, etc. If someone has a significant birthday, they get an invite for a free something if they bring friends. Management should also offer take-home meals dispensed from the drivethru window downstairs. Publish a menu with 2 items per day of good health oriented meals for those who cannot or are too tired to cook. Where are our manager's good ideas?

120.

Service is slow and food is inconsistant.

121.

The bar and dining area need a better manager to satisify customers and employees.

122.

The club house, the bar and the restaurant are out of date, obsolete, and generally unattractive; the bar tenders are snooty and the bar patrons unfriendly. The restaurant is usually staffed by people that don't know what they are doing and the food is barely edible.

123.

Obviously, the big hill one has to climb is a nuisance.

124.

No dinners except Mondays and Thursdays

125.

We only use the Clubhouse for entertaining guests or a rare (maybe 3 times a year) lunch or dinner, but we uniformly have been very pleased with the quality of the food - especially in the last year or so - the selections are innovative, quality is super, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get - it's a great value and a nice resource to have for entertaining when you don't want to drive into Grass Valley/Nevada City.

126.

Would like to see an improved wine list, with more selections in the $25-$50/bottle range.

127.

The clubhouse could be a great place, but it is way too stuffy overpriced and well, weird! We need a typical casual, kidfriendly, grill type of place! Burgers, sandwiches, salads, french fries, and a huge appetizer menu, where you could go and hang out relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings we have! We don't need some fancy dancy type of elegant place with quiet music and white tableclothes! We need a fun place with life and people and color, maybe like an Applebees or TGIFridays but with a lakewildwood theme. A place where everyone wants to go, not just a select few that go because there is no place else to go!

128.

Service is poor and on many occasions not enough help and the bar needs more assistance during events. Many times food on the menu is not available. Needs alot of help!!!

129.

Nice to have a good restaurant available.

130.

Don't get me started - it's all in previous Clubhouse AdHoc Committee Surveys and reports; poor and inconsistent quality of food and service; prices for buffets and general public much less than large golfig organizations who primarily support the clubhouse; different set of rules and practices of pricing - screw the golfers!

131.

When there is no shuttle service available it is a long walk up the hill, particularly for the elderly. Perhaps some area for drop off would be helpful near the back entrance, or even a valet service. I know everything has gotten expensive, but there really doesn't seem to be any low cost items on your menu, even a la carte.

132.

Ambiance seems lackluster for the price we pay.

133.

Service has often been less than stellar. Especially long waits for settling up bills.

134.

It's wonderful to have this facility available to us, and we're proud to take visitors there. They love it and the view is great.

135.

service staff is very efficient & gracious but short staffing causes slow service;

136.

None.

137.

I am a member of the fellowship group that meets in the clubhouse on Thursday mornings. We used to be served breakfast. Now we only get served if the TWI staff is having their monthly meeting there. We feel that's unfair and we're being treated as second class citizens. Also, you should have fired Susanne years ago.

138.

normally bad food...normally fair to poor service...sad/tired enviornment...this should either be fixed or closed...I (along with many other folks I have spoken with) think the clubhouse restaurant should be leased to an outside party.

139.

Service is slow (wait staff seems uninteresting in serving) and food mediocre.

140.

Need to settle on hrs. open like in the past, too hard to follow new hrs./days; higher priced dinners need to be dropped, keep all in less than $15 category, this should also allow more focus on quality with smaller no. of choices; overall, we like buffets; once this is regimented out something like this, whatever subsidy turns out to be should be lived with w/o concerns/complaining about it---given higher gasoline costs, LWW dining should be recognized as a convenient amenity for residents...after a few LWW dining out experiences, subsidy would be "paid back" vs. what it costs to travel and dine in GV and NC

141.

We go there ONLY when an organization to which we belong is scheduling an activity there. As indicated elsewhere, Clubhouse dining is an oxymoron. One suggestion is to allow outside caterers to use the facility, and cause some competition for the Clubhouse staff, thereby inducing them to get their act together. Larger organizations have to use the Clubhouse folk for any meals or festivities they plan, and the lack of quality detracts seriously from the Lake Wildwood experience.

142.

Thje serfvice needs improvement. Serving staff is friendly, but are NOT attentive. When serving water or coffee to a table, rarely look to see if other seated guests might also need refills. Staff needs good, solid training. Too many times we've had to get up and look for our server. Might try leaving water pitcher and coffee themos on tables. Also, servers (of "bus people" ) should be looking for customers who are in need of food, drinks, service rather than making an occassion swing-by. Food is generally better than in the past, but is not consistently good. Servers need more focus on the dinner guests (customers) and more training....need to be more attentive.

143.

Keep up the current efforts. It really has improved over the last year

144.

I think Pierre is doing a great job. It is the best it has been since I have lived here.

145.

The meals are over priced for the consistency of quality. The menu is not directed to LWW's existing demographics.

146.

Maybe a private vendor may be of some help.

147.

For a commuity that has grown to have permanent residents, we need a more up scale Club House. The money that was spent on our commuity center should have been spent on our Club House.

148.

Not consistent. A few weeks ago my wife & I ate at the Pleasant Valley Grill. Almost every table was full... with Lake Wildwood people. Hmmm. There must be a reason people eat at the local restaurants and not here in the LWW clubhouse. I'm not an expert at running restaurants, but my wife and I are usually reluctant about have dinner at the club house.

149.

Please keep art from LWW art club displayed

150.

Service varies each time you go. No one there yet lousy service. I never know when they are going to be open so I don't go much. Taco night is great! Especially since the service bar is in the other room.

151.

Food continues to be 'hit-or-miss'. Embarrassing sometimes to take guests! Wait staff is very friendly, but for the most part are inefficient and/or untrained.

152.

Group luncheons have been very unsatisfactory.

153.

We have been unhappy with service several times in the past and did not go to the dining room for several months, however we have been twice in the last month and have been very satisfied with the service as well as the food. If that continues, we will continue to come

154.

we have only attended taco nights. love taco nights. have not dined yet in the restaurant. seems to need an upgrade.

155.

Service is slow, food too expensive compared to other area restaurants, salad bar terrible, access very poor, no weeday breakfasts

156.

When you make reservations, and have any group over 6 they make you wait forever, 30 to 45 mins to even get a drink. Service is terrible, they always have a excuse, someone didn't show up for work, and thats every week. We have given suggestions but they go in one ear and out the other. Maybe we have to increase salaries so they want to come to work or hire people that want to work, maybe our manager could pitch in and help when this happens, at least serve the cocktails. Something needs to be done and soon. We would eat dinner up there every week at least once but we don't because of the service. We prefer to go across the street or down the street, because of the SERVICE. Please help...

157.

It is surprising to me that I see many of my neighbors dining at the Pleasant Valley Grill where the prices are similar, and the food, service much better. They have no subsidies either.

158.

Overall, we have been very satisfied with the food lately, and have a pleasant experience each time we go.

159.

We particularly like and use the Kid's nights out, and the Santa breakfast- we appreciate the cost and benefits of these meals and opportunities- we would like the menu on Kid's nights out to be a little more varied- maybe cost-wise it can't be. We would go to the other buffet dinners occasionally, but don't due to the challenges of dining out with children, or the added cost of babysitting.

160.

The clubhouse restaurant and bar would be supported much more frequently if parking and site were at the same level. Wish a restaurant could have been included in the Community Center Expansion, and the clubhouse be converted to a breakfast/lunch fast-food style, with expanded (sports?) bar more inviting to our golfing community.

161.

The service and food are not consistant. We should suc contract out hr dinning facility.

162.

Need elevator for handicaped

163.

I like breakfast. Not just on Friday, saturday and Sunday

164.

It needs better service and the food should be more consistent

165.

Very hit or miss on quality and service!!!

166.

need better sevice and better quality of food

167.

lunches are OK but dinner is not, especially Sun. night. Must admit haven't been there this year

168.

A fine job!

169.

the quality of the food is sporadic - sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. The quality of the service has been improving vastly since Pierre has been here.

170.

If the quality was better, we would use the facility more often--ie, that was really great, we have to do this again!! doesn't happen here!

171.

The Clubhouse dining facilities are a disgrace to the Association. They are not a place where we would want to take guests. The menu has too many choices and would be better if they concentrated on a few quality items.

172.

Ambiance needs some major help...it needs to be completely updated! Service is marginal...sometimes ok, other times very poor. Food has been steadily improving...great job there. Cedar Room needs so much help. We need to upgrade everything...bring it into a new decade. Banquets are not great.

173.

Obviously it is costing an awful lot to members for maintaining this service. Hopefully this survey will give the board enuf' information to make decisions about the future levels of service. Despite improvements in food quality the service is still very inconsistent and you never know what to expect. Server attitudes range from sweetly efficient to surly indifference, you never know what you're going to get. We have many friends who have just stopped going to the Pine Room due to poor service and attitudes, not because of food quality or prices. Also, the so called "ambiance" is just plain dull. The view outside is wonderful and the inside is dead. Where is some color (seasonal look)? Where is the changed furniture spoken of years ago when the chairs and tables were to be replaced? Why isn't the whole Pine Room converted to a grill room with booths and setees on the perimeters? Dress this place up and reduce the menu to what our members are buying up at the Penn Valley Grill and quit trying to be all things to all people. And most importantly, either train and supervise the present servers or get a new crop. It is time for change!

174.

Access is the main complaint. Would like hours of operation to be greater, but understand that it is the tail wagging dog, as if more use, then hours could be expanded.

175.

service is to slow

176.

I think the dinning room needs more dressing up, more color to liven it up.

177.

We are new to Lake Wildwood and will reserve our opinion on some of the above until we get better familiar with the runnings of the Club House Dining Room. Thank You

178.

It seems that at times they are under staffed.

179.

Needs better access for frail or handicapped.

180.

At times we have to wait for the food to be delivered to our table for a very long, long time

181.

Need handicap access when van is not available. Walking uphill to back in not good enough! Some of the dinner entrees are too pricy.

182.

Inconsistent food quality and service. Taco night good idea. Buffets generally good. Lunchs tend to be better than dinners.

183.

Mixed experience on service and changing days/hours of operation limit our choice of Clubhouse dinning.

184.

An elevator would be nice.

185.

The food can be excellent, but is very inconsistent. The service is all over the place--again, inconsistent. Servers aften ignore customers, and trying to pay the bill sometimes takes 15 minutes. All we want is good quality at reasonable prices and consistency. We hesitate to bring our guests to the Clubhouse because we never know what we are going to get. We've been embarrassed too many times over many years. Pierre has done a great job at trying new things, but just when you thing it's finally on the right track, a bad experience spoils everything. How can you screw up a Mexican buffet? Well, we went to one, and it was awful. We were super impressed by the Wine Parings Dinner featuring the Lucchessi Winery. It was pricey, but fabulous! We took guests to that one, and were very pleased. Again, the ongoing problem with the Cluhouse over the 28 years we have lived in Lake Wildwood is consistency--how hard can it be?

186.

Disability access needed. More intimate dining (booths). Reduce hours to save costs: Th-Sun dinner, limited open lunch and breakfast but open for pre-arranged meals anytime for reasonable minimum of guests with paid reservations.

187.

One of the longest employed waitresses gets order mixed up consistantly. She can spoil an otherwise good outing and she always blames it on someone else.

188.

While the value and quality of food has improved, there still is a lack of service. Too few servers. The salad bar is very skimpy, seems like too many of the items are just being poured from a jar or can. I would like to see more fresh raw vegetables. Especially pleased with Taco Night. We have made it a must on our calendar. The fare is good - and fairly priced - and it gives us a chance to socialize with many friends and neighbors. How about a $1.00/slice pizza night? Also, the shuttle is a must to bring people up to the back door.

189.

Lower priced dinners. Smaller portions, or smaller portions available.

190.

Though all clubhouse operations have steadily improved since Pierre's arrival, food quality remains unpredictable. This creates a reluctance to patronize the clubhouse for special occasions or when dining out with friends. Though attractively priced and popular, the Thurs night buffets don't always turn out well, especially the Mexican buffet. At least one, possibly two of the servers require additional training.

191.

Doesn't have a fine dining ambience, more like a university doorm dining room, too bright, too open, too noisey.

192.

Sometimes the service is very slow. I would like to see more fish and low fat dinners on the menu, and some entre salads.

193.

We try the dining facilities occasionally to see if they are satisfactory for entertaining guests which they are not.

194.

I wish the meno would follw a more:Bistro/ Grill offerings. I am not interested in a "gourmet" menu, just good simple food. I eat out at least 2-3 times a week.

195.

Access, during certain times of the year climbing the hill is very inconvenient (rain etc.), the shuttle is not always available. The Cedar room needs upgrading particularly in the lighting area, whitwashing the walls and removing old drapes has helped but it is still a very dated room. The location of the clubhouse is very lovely, the vista is beautiful but its location at the top of the hill without easy access is not good. Quality of food is OK but variety is lacking, thelunch menu has not changed in years with the exception of some daily specials. The menu does not reflect the current trends in food service with more healthy offerings.Service is very inconsistant, good one day bad the next. It is not a place I choose to take guests as one never knows whether it will be a good day or bad. Wait staff does not conduct themselves in a professional and business like manner. At times they are too familiar.

196.

Bring back breakfast Mon - Thu. Starting at 11 or 11:30 cuts out breakfast omlets et al before short trips! Daybreak Cafe is O.K., but......

197.

We appreciate the hard work the clubhouse staff is doing to make the dining experience pleasureable.

198.

Poor interaction between waiters and guests. Unattractive dining room, just not top drawer in any way. Reservations mean very little as you are told to wait as much as 20 min EVEN if you have ressies!

199.

Quality of food and service for special functions such as plays is satisfactory. Had poor service and mediocre food with guests for breakfast, and there were only people at two other tables.

200.

Staff needs bit more training in professional serving.

201.

Menu is getting better

202.

servce is slow most of the time, although I have seen some improvement.

203.

Pine room meals are generally ok, but banquet meals attended are often of poor quality with not enough servers. I routinely attend monthly breakfasts of the men's niner golfers and find that the food, especially the scrambled eggs, are poorly prepared.

204.

Banquet food needs work for quality. Restaurant service could improve, although we have seen some improvement over the last year.

205.

My wife has had unfavorable club luncheon experiences in the past.

206.

We've rated overall level of satisfaction as "satisfied." However, if there was a rating within that, it would be on the low side. Service is fine, but food needs some improvement. At times food is served cold and inconsistent in flavor of entrees. We've been to some Thursday night buffet's and we have to wait for food to be put out -- how difficult is it to cook spaghetti and keep it at the buffet? Salad bar is always messy and not filled with salad fixings, meaning someone isn't watching it.

207.

Pierre has done a great job in supplying different dining facilites, especially for families

208.

The service still remains poor. Quality of food is marginal for the price. I love going to Alta Sierra for golf functions, because their food is so good. I wish we had a similar facility and service. Our clubhouse is old and not inviting. I would rather pay more for better quality of food. Or change the menu/restaurant to a more pub like atmosphere. Perhaps checking out similar faciities in No. California would better inform us on how we're doing regarding prices, service and menu selection. Pierre is better than the managers we've had in the past, but we still try to do everything on a "shoestring" and it would be nice if we could get past that type of "mind-set" and actually offer a real dining experience....or go casual, like a pub. In any event, I still think this remains a problem.

209.

We always enjoy our Friday night dinner at the club. The food is very good and the service is excellent.

210.

Food is basically overpriced for the service that does not compare with other local restaurants such as the Pleasant Valley Grill. The excuse is always that they did not expect so many diners because not everyone there had made a reservation. We've eaten there for dinner many times when it wasn't crowded and the servers weren't that busy and still the service was very poor. The service was much better back in the second half of 2004 into 2005. It seems to have gone steadily downhill since then. I wish it was better...I would eat there more often.

211.

The menu is getting better, but it needs to have healthier choices. A reasonally priced al carte menu. The buffet needs work. Waht about a weekend brunch on Sunday for 10:00 to 2:00 and at a reasonable price. We really need a nicer dining room, so that dinner doesn't feel like we are at a grill

212.

We would use the clubhouse for dining more often if it was open for breakfast and dinner more often. The service is slow so we do not go if we are in a hurry.

213.

the wait persons during the day are slow and unprofessional

214.

As far as breakfast and lunch are concerned the food and service are satisfactory. not great but satisfactory. As far as dinner is concerned it is a total loss. The atmosphere in the dining room is equal to eating at a Denny's. It is fine for breakfast and lunch but it is totally unsuitable for dinner. I don't like eating dinner in the same atmosphere and ambiance that I ate breakfast in. The food is inconsistent and it simply does not entice anybody to go and eat dinner there. When I want to go out to eat, the LWW dining room is never even considered. If the dining room is to be a success you need to greatly improve the atmosphere and ambiance as well as the food. With 2,800 homes as your market, it is a sad situation that the Club cannot make the dining room successful.

215.

The present manager is one of the best. Good food..good service

216.

need regular salt and pepper shakers. Have you ever been holding a hamburger and tried to twist the salt and pepper shakers? Try it one handed. Who came up with those?

217.

Food in the last year has been better, however, service is not up to the standards of other restaurants. There are times when the clubhouse is not very busy and yet, it is very difficult to get water, or refill on drinks because the help is not in the dining room or at the front desk.

218.

service is the flaw .... serveral mgrs have not corrected the behavior of a few servers. One should not walk into the restuarant w/ no worker present to greet them. If they are being paid ... one person can be in the dinning room at all times. Many times they are in the back chatting. Getting the check can also be a problem ... getting it & waiting for the receipt.

219.

It's hit and miss on quality of food and service. Sometimes avoid taking guests to dinner as several times service was poo and quality of food mediocre

220.

Example, the plesant Valley Grill, has the perfect menue for our club house. Can't get potato salad, instead of fries with a hamburger, god for bid if I ask for Avacado and bacon strips.

221.

service, service, service.

222.

Parking and entrance to dining room would be ideal if on the same level. Sometimes no shuttle available or if alone must park in lower lot.

223.

Satisfied or unsatisfied is a close call. Recently the service has been very poor. In past years service was much better.

224.

Individual servers impact level of service received.

225.

We don't usually eat out except when traveling.

226.

Went in for lunch last week and there was only one waitress and the wait to be served was unbelievable...went somewhere else to eat.

227.

Update web page to include current menu, hours of operation, more recent pictures

228.

Need a value priced menu to draw potential diners.

229.

Food in not very good and over priced.

230.

quality of food very inconsistent. food preparation and delivery very slow. service level is apathetic in many cases.

231.

between unsatisfactory and satisfactory. Numerous instances of cold food, slow service, sometimes the food is excellent and other times, not good.

232.

when asked "in a typical month how many time" We do not go on a regular bases, may not go for 3 or 4 months and then may go once or twice.

233.

The numbers of how many times the Clubhouse is visited were previously higher, these economic times have curtailed our entertainment frequency

234.

The quality of food isn't always consistant or served in a timely manner, cold breakfast isn't really enjoyable, yet the breakfasts are some of the best meals that are served and the best value. Lunches are overpriced...more small portion options would be great.

235.

I believe the breakfast and lunches are good, but have not liked the dinners.

236.

Every time we read how things have gotten better, we try it and find the food so so. Service directly related to individual; not too sure about training. We truthfully, don't go enough for a good report for this survey. TY

237.

Pierre has attempted change. We will try it again and hope it meets our expectations.

238.

We like having the dining so close by and find the food VERY appealing. We know that the service is less than adequate because it is hard to hire good help for such short hours. The staff that is there is very pleasant and thoughtful. We hope that business increases and that they can hire more staff.

239.

Need a more "family-friendly" dining option for younger families in the community.

240.

The service and quality of food is inconsistent and sometimes terrible. The price of the food is not consistent with the quality and service and is too high compared to comparable outside resturants.

241.

Service is lousy, food is marginal and servers are untrained

242.

The buffets are the only time we dine in the Clubhouse and this is mainly due to the fact that we can help ourselves. The service has not improved, you could sit for 15 to 20 minutes before someone will come to wait on you and then you wait to get your food. We have had wrong orders and told "it's close enough" to what we ordered. I have taken family there and have been embarrassed enough that I would never take them back. Just because certain employees have been there forever, doesn't make them indispensable. There needs to be an evaluation and review system, comment cards don't seem to cut it. I would rather get in my car and drive up to Pleasant Valley Grill for a homecooked meal, where service is fast and friendly and the food is always hot.

243.

i think the service is just too slow. I am not happy with the luch menu. I think it needs more variety. I am also gluten-sensitive and have asked for that to be addressed, but have not seen any changes.

244.

It is difficult to satisfied or unsatisfied, the quality of the food varies so much.

245.

could use better waitresses

246.

The food is good but the wait staff acts as tho they are doing you a favor. Wanda is the only waitress at the club house that is on the ball and helpful.

247.

Service is usually very slow. Morning Waitresses play favorites. Suzanne needs improving (or permanent vacation). No ambiance. Perhaps some booths in place of some tables? Sliding glass doors could/should be eliminated and columns/walls extended for more private dining for tables. Prices keep going up.

248.

meals are inconsistant, sometimes excellent sometimes just acceptable

249.

The prices for food and beverages should be increased to reflect something closer to market rates. Hopefully this might accompany an upgrade to menue items. Our resturant must be financially viable if it is going to provide quality food, beverages and service. Persuing only the cheapest is a road to eventual loss of patrons. Most of our residents are savoy about business and understand that businesses must be profitable. There will always be some in such a community that will complain about any price increases but we can't keep that minority from downgrading such a crucial service to Lake Wildwood.

250.

We do eat out quite often, but we do not eat much and can usually enjoy a shared meal for under $10. We could pay more, but we wouldn't get better food or enjoy it anymore. We do look forward to $1 tacos--a full meal for us with just one to two each. We both like buffets, but way to costly for the amount we each eat. Maybe we could have a one small plate buffet for a reduced price?

251.

Food is good. Service when breakfast was served was horrible. The answer was not to stop serving breakfast, but to get better service.

252.

Wheat rolls!

253.

12.95 for a single plate of spaghetti? little steep. Good bbque.

254.

We have a great dining facility and I would like to use it more often, but.Just do the basics. Come in and sit down and get a menue and have water and utinsils ready to go. Ask for a drink order and explain the specials. Come back and get the orders in a timely fashion. Get the orders out in a reasonable time not 30 to 40 minutes. Offer Coffee etc. and come back and fill it once is a while. Offer desert and expiain some of the offerings.Bring some more coffee and ask for any other things. This is the time to be sure that the people are all taken care of. This is tip time! We have had some good sevice but there have been times that nothing has gone right. Just have the people do the basics. Cold coffee, no way. Hamburger and fries and no ketchup, mayo or mustard, no way. Check in a resonable time and then picked up in a reasonable time. I feel that our prices are too high. The dining facility does not pay for rent nor for utilities that I know of. If that is so and we pay for these in some other account then the prices for meals should not be up there with comperable places up town. We eat at the Pleasant Valley Grill and we would rather eat at our club but we do not because of poor service and a better meal for the same price.

255.

LWWA debit card connected with a master account for ease of use and payment

256.

The lounge needs to have food available at all times.

257.

Sometimes satisfactory, not consistent.

258.

The club house is outdated

259.

Service and food are inconsistant. Food and service in the ceder room could be improved.

260.

Sometimes the food portions are too small.

261.

Opening the club for dining every evening was a smart move-ie the great participation on Monday nights. We enjoy the meals on Tues and Wed but suggest other ideas be considered to encourge more participation. In addition to the regular menu, high demand food like pizza might be added to the menu.We could consider more positive ways to bring in diners by offering "buy one meal on the regular menu and get the second meal at half price" , or a "Ladies night" where the ladies get a meal at half price even if unaccompanied ( they are most likely going to use the bar and thats where the money is) and last but not least we should offer a free meal to every one on thier "birthday week, and on anniversaries, one person gets a free meal. I visualize lots of folks taking advantage of the discounted and/or free meals. These offers will bring lots of folks into the restauraunt who would not have otherwise come to eat there and most likely bring in other family and friends to share in the celebration.

262.

Less FATTY/FRIED foods. More lighter meals with fresher ingredients. Smaller portions...smaller prices. Lots of seniors life here...we don't need alot of food...just healthy, fresh and reasonably priced. And, we're not interested if the wait staff is not having a good day!

263.

I think the staff work hard to please the patrons

264.

A Community table for singles would be nice.

265.

Dining experiences range from very good to bad. The service and food quality is unpredictable. Good 1 day and terrible the next. It seems to have gotten better over the past couple of years.

266.

Sure, a Lake Front Club would be great, but I believe that the Clubhouse has improved a lot!

267.

we need a cheaper menu, better food quality, and service that actually caters to the customer, you have some great employees that allways take care of people like Olga, and Max...but you have some others that are....real poor.

268.

Sunday Brunch should be explored. You do such a great job on holidays.

269.

There has been a big improvement ever since Danny G., then Pierre. They have done an awesome job. But food quality continues to be a challenge...you never know what you're going to get, and the service is the same way. For the most part, the wait staff is awesome, friendly, and they work very hard. However, there have been those times when you wait forever for drinks, for water, just the basics. The alcohol drinks are great and the bartenders for the most part are great. But because you never know what you're going to get re the food, we go there less and less. It's crazy that we are losing so much money on the restaurant. It's time to open it to the public so we do not have to subsidize it like we do currently. That way we would be able to pay for a good salary for a decent chef!!! There has got to be a way to do this...e.g., charge $10 per car and the credit goes towards dinner...whatever, it's just that we cannot continue to operate in the red. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE consider some new ideas, and not just operate based on the old days. These are tough times and we CANNOT continue to just do business as usual. Open up the discussion to homeowners interested in getting involved. Form a "Restaurant" committee. Take advantage of the expertise we have right here in our homeowners. Even make it a paying job...a consultant, whatever. It's a shame we have such a BEAUTIFUL location but the food is questionable....quite honestly, I can't tell you how often it has actually been terrible. I feel bad to be so honest, but that's the truth!

270.

Although I answered "satisfied" to most of the answers above, I really don't care to dine out at the clubhouse. The last several times we have been, they have been out of some part of our meal for example, jam at breakfast. My french toast was cold at the last visit. And for my husband and I to leave the kids at home and go out for a special dinner, the clubhouse does not offer the atmosphere we are looking for.

271.

The bar area needs to have more of a sports bar feel to it. When we eat in the restaraunt we usually get very slow service

272.

The menu should be simplified to the level where consistent quality can be delivered. The current inconsistency in quality and service make it a far less attractive options compared to dining out anywhere else in the area.

273.

Menu is not what it should be for our area. We need to get more people in there for dinner. We need to look at clubs like Greenhorn, they seem to have it all.

274.

Food has been mediocre. We have been reluctant to return very often. We frequently dine late Saturday evening. While dining the crew is setting tables for morning breakfast. This ruins my dining experience. It takes attention away from the wait staff so that I have a hard time getting more water, or butter, or whatever. The facility needs a serious redecoration. The decor is very dated, but it's still comfortable.

275.

There is NO Vegetarian options for dinner. You can at least have a Gardenburger back in the freezer just in case. Its the reason I dont eat there more often. I have to pick from side dishes if I want to eat there,

276.

we have been very pleased with the food presentation and menu selection but the service is very poor and has not improved over the years. when we enter the restaurant it generally takes a long time for anyone to acknowledge that we are there. the waitresses don't tend to the little things on a regular basis - like bringing bread to the dinner table, remembering when drinks and/or coffee is ordered. they don't come around to refill the coffee. it seems like they go out of their way to avoid eye contact with the customer after bringing the food.

277.

Quality of food and service is inconsistent.

278.

Hours of Service seem to keep changing --- hard to keep up.

279.

Outside dining is too difficult for wait staff. We enjoy having the convenince of a nice restaurant inside wildwood. Have weekend breakfasts on deck of new rec center in warmer months.

280.

The chairs are very uncomfortable.

281.

Bar needs to be opened later. We have a few allergies to foods in our household and we are dissapointed that the food available is "Pre made" and there are no options for the same dish without the allergens. For example if the sauce for something has nuts, there is no available sauce without nuts. It would be nice to have alternatives to the same dish.

282.

Service and food are very unpredicitable. I have arranged group events there but often am less than happy with the results. Pitchers of iced teafor group meetings is very expensive.

283.

Service is not always the best.

284.

Often food quality would not compete with good restaurants. Sometimes weekly "special night" food items taste like they were purchased frozen and heated.

285.

Having the Clubhouse is a great asset. My only suggestions would be to change up the clubhouse to be a little more inviting for families. Possibly change the set-up by adding booths, which would give the room a different feel instead of the dining hall feel that it has now. The weekly themed nights, including Kids Night Out are great. A sports-bar type atmosphere may even be popular with the families in Lake Wildwood.

286.

Service is extremely slow unless we get Suzanne who is FABULOUS!

287.

The shuttle is a great idea but access to dining must be improved.

288.

I miss breakfast during the week.

289.

DESPARATELY need new menu with more healthful and fresher food choices! The menu is tired & boring. I would like to spend my dining dollars in my own community but tend to dine elsewhere for the better food & food preparation. I only dine at the clubhouse out of community loyalty & convenience. I would be willing to pay more for quality dinners.

290.

Seems to be high priced where there's no rent to pay needed in the price of the servings. Probably half the time the service lags. Quality of food can vary from very good to bad; never quite sure what will be coming to your table on any given day - dinners. Lunch and breakfasts have always been good food.

291.

the service is usually unsatisfactory. The dinner meals are overpriced.

292.

Banquet meals are of lower quality than regular meals. Staff should be better trained in providing quality service along with a smile and a thank you. Also staff needs to be training on how to properly serve and table settings.

293.

I know the clubhouse dining struggles. Have you considered offering meal delivery within LWW?

294.

Please extend the shuttle hours. For those of us who cannot cllimb the hill or walk the stairs, the shuttle is the only way we can enjoy the wonderful dinning experience Pierre provides.

295.

greeting at front desk to be seated...not attentive & too long of a wait. Service could be improved and perhaps more attentive to details. Some of the servers need more training.

296.

like it as it is

297.

The service is terrible. The staff does whatever they want with no consequences. I no longer will take guests there due to bad past exprience.

298.

The prices have gone up more recently and thse of us on retirement incomes find it more expensive. Two people can easily spend $40 to $50 for dinner. That's a lot on retirment income

299.

The meal we most often eat at the Clubhouse is breakfast. There seems to be a constant turnover in staff (other than Suzanne who is always wonderful) many of whom are either inadequately trained or have a questionable work ethic.

300.

We can't afford to eat out much, but it would be nice to have at least one great bargain a day. It would be nice to have some parking up top near the restaurant so you would not have to walk so for, or some golf carts you could take up and down on the honor system.

301.

people with reservations should always be served before walk ins. Servers need better training.

302.

The food and service is very uneven. The banquet food is very poor but when menu items are ordered individually, the food can be very good.

303.

Breakfast and lunches are fair to good, but the dinners are poor in my opinion. And I no longer use the club house for guest dinners or for special occassions. This food service as well as the bar should be a very profitable operation since you have a capitive audiance. Everyone is LWW should want to go to the club house for their meals away from home. If feel it is run very poorly, the food is poor, therefore, I perfer to go elsewhere for better food, service even if I have to pay more. The waiters could at less smile and bus the table in adequate time.

304.

Would not consider taking any family members or friends to eat at the clubhouse

305.

We prefer to patronize places that offer "grill" type food like steaks, pork chops, shrimp, fish, chicken and Mexican food. The prices of the dinners are prohibitive to our budget and we most often go somewhere where the prices of the meals are more reasonable and the food choices more varied and not so upscale.

306.

Food is too salty, too lacking in other flavors and too pricey. Food is also greasy - WHY? With all the nutritional information available, it should be easy to prepare a menu that is heart-healthy AND weight-management friendly AND flavorful. Why is breakfast served so late? How can the Clubhouse compete with other cafes in the area that serve breakfast early enough for golfers and others to eat and be on their way to sports, work, etc.? Service is inconsistent, there are very long waits to being seated, orders being taken, served and to pay the bill. WHY? The buffets are hit and miss: in flavors, in selection and price. What do other successful restaurants do that you can emulate and bring to us?

307.

Bad service - breakfast/lunch needs more teamwork - non-consistent food quality for dinner.

308.

We eat at the clubhouse a couple of times a year.

309.

Wait service can be very slow at time, especially dinner.

310.

Getting to Clubhouse from the parking lot is difficult.

311.

Too expensive.

312.

Visit the Penn Valley Grill. Food is great, service excellent, prices very reasonable.

313.

We usually have our main meal at lunch time. We enjoy the Pine Room for lunch and occasionally breakfast. We feel that dinners are over prices.

314.

Soup ccold/wrap dried out/meat overcooked/canned turkey & no cranberry sauce

315.

Need a grill at Commodore Park with boat access

316.

I hate climbing the hill and the stairs to dine or participate in activities. These things keep me away from the clubhouse.

317.

During winter - would like soups and salads - self serve - like taco nights.

318.

Need new chairs in Cedar Room

319.

needs overall improvement

320.

some meals priced to high

321.

Needs an elevator

322.

Some of the oldest servers have an attitude- We need new blood.

323.

Enjoy Bunches.

324.

closes too early @ dinner

325.

watch your overhead costs for labor!

326.

getting up that hill is tough good food & good value

327.

this is a tough call as i know the staff is always trying but is constrained by a limited clientele.
