the marina is a sewer!!!!

2.

would like to see the security boat patrol out on the lake more often. We also store one boat in our garage.

3.

Weed situation is very unpleasant.

4.

I feel that boaters should have the same expense that is charged the golfers for their carts. Since I own both I should have to pay the same for both..What a nice club house we could build with that income

5.

keep the tubers off the lake until 10:00 on weekends. Let us ski on the only good water of the day. Keep tubers out of the slalom course

6.

Love the new boat docks in the marina. Please post no jumping or playing off of docks in the parks as this is a very dangerous situation when someone is trying to launch or dock a boat.

7.

Association should allow two lifts per property. Boats are already there, why not on lifts?

8.

Security at Meadow Park is not good. We had a $4,000 outdrive stolen from our boat several years ago. Additional video cameas have been installed since that time, but more security is appropriate to protect the $millions of boats stored in that location. The previous general manager felt that a security fence with a card activated gate would detract from Lake Wildwood's ambiance. I would like to have this consideation revisited.

9.

Need better tie downs at Meadow Park docks. The slopes of the entry gates at the Marina are very steep. We have already had one guest fall. We need handrails at the very least, better would be to reduce the slope of the ramp from the gate.

10.

Not enough summer boat users are able to have their boats near or at the lake. Much of the potential boat storage (Meadow Park) is occupied by trailers of those who have in water storage at home or in the Marina. The Campground is not optimized for members who need boat/trailer storage.

11.

the boat hasn't been in the water in 2 years

12.

The restriction of 21 feet maximum length is very out of date. I purchased a "new" ski boat with the now standard moulden-in swim deck which can't be removed. I cannot use this ski boat at LWW because it was 21', 2" long! Older boats of say, 20 feet have swim decks attached which have never come off and the boat can measure over 24 feet long. They are approved. The purpose of the length restriction is designed for safe operations in the water....not just to get through the gate and accquire a LWW sticker! If the board wants to improve conditions in LWW, start removing these 30 year old "grandfathered" situations and make sure all residents are treated evenly.

13.

All marina spaces should be utilized and not just reserved and remain empty all summer

14.

need more dockage space at parks

15.

The launch ramp at Meadow park should be widened to allow two launches/retreivals concurrently.

16.

Need to replace ramp for boat dock, pave parking area for boat launching

17.

The issue of weeds in the lake continue to be a serious concern for me.

18.

we need to make the Meadow Park area bigger, not only the width so we could get boats in and out easier, but the launch area should handle two boats at a time, not just one

19.

I feel there are too many boats for such a small lake. If everybody went out at once you would only have about 10Sq. feet of water to manuver in. Too many diffrent types of boats, kyacks, canoes, poontoon boats etc all trying to use the same water at the same time. maybe some restrictions on the times of use for each type.

20.

There are too many boats on the lake and at some private docks. I think one power boat per lot should be the rule. Safety is an issue from the amount of boat traffic on weekends and especially holidays. My daughter was almost run over by someone (a visitor) who had never driven a boat before. She didn't have any idea why we were waving the red flag! There is something amiss with that. The ski rope was destroyed! Someone will die one of these days. It is getting to the point that skiing and tubing should perhaps be banned on our small lake–on weekends, holidays anyway.

21.

We need more SolarBees. The water in Hideawy Lagoon is only decent due to the Bss' being there, as this year no significant supply of water is coming into our lake. Our lake is down five inches and has been for over six weeks now. We buy 200 miners inches of water. Where is it????

22.

Restrictions should allow 3 people on a tube if the tube is made for it. Pulling 2 tubes / multiple skiers should be permitted; restrictions too tight. Marina gas price premium over outside cost is too high.

23.

I would like to see docks installed adjacent to Commordore Park.

24.

Storage bin for each slip in marina would be usefull

25.

can we designate the boat launch area as a dog exercise area?

26.

We are not happy with the number of spaces in the Marina and the number of years we will have to wait to get a space, especially since if appears that many boats that are stored at the marina are never used, and are just taking up space.

27.

Need to implement "distance from private docks" rule. Boaters park/anchor way too close to homeowners docks/yards/property.

28.

Security needs to be around during busy weekends............especially mid to late afternoon.

29.

1. 3 person restriction is STUPID on weekends considering the large tubes folks pull nowdays 2. I see way TOO many abusers of the NO WAKE rule in Hidaway channel near our house; wasn't this way 3 years ago!

30.

Need more dock and storage facilities.

31.

credit card gas pumps was a good idea. Need to be easier to use.

32.

Keep using the chemicals to clear the lake. Possibly add more Solar Bees. When you put chemical off the bridge at Meadow Park, our area of the lake has cleared a great deal. Thank you! Otherwise, the weeds tend to collect in that corner.

33.

we must continue to monitor the lake water quality; it is our most valuable amenity. we should always lower the lake to control weeds, buy more solar bees and dredge when possible.

34.

CLOSER ATTENTION NEEDS TO BE PAID BY SECURITY AS TO LOCATION OF BUOY AND THAT THEY ARE NOT MOVED. AT OUR AREA OF LAKE SHORE EROSION IS A MAJOR FACTOR.

35.

My "power" boat is a 2 hp on my sail boat. As said before, would like upgrade to the docks at the ramp. Would be nice if meadow parking was paved to keep down the dust. Would like more aggressive herbacide treatment of the lake. Towards the end of season, weeds are so big they foul my centerboard sometimes. I would say 20% of the real power boats we encounter on the lake come too close to me in my sailboat.

36.

we need to do a better job on controlling the weeds.

37.

BUILD MORE IN WATER STORAGE DOCKS

38.

the name of this community is LAKE wildwood which is 2 of the main reasons people come here and the other is playing golf; some golfers own lots only to play...this seems improper.

39.

The 5 mile zone is not being enforced. I have lost 4 trees due to wake undercutting the roots

40.

Algae buildup (some years) has been caught in prop., and when really bad, quite a clean up job for our small runabout.

41.

please let us have access to the marina cam, daytime, while it is directed at the lake, via the website. could we please have a wind meter via the website(?from vista )?

42.

Need to dredge deeper and more often

43.

it appears the waiting list is unusually long for people desiring a slip at the marina....I would hope home owners ,if not using their slips anymore ,would turn them in rather than just keep them empty for whatever reason....i.e. subletting them.

44.

There are boats making huge waves & distroying the shore line. Perhaps a boating test should be taken & passed before being allowed to use the lake.

45.

The parking lot needs to be paved at the launch, docks at ramp needs to be redone with appropriate protection on the sides and cleats, to tie up! The lights that were installed work intermitantly at best!

46.

We are sure this is a common complaint, but just would like to say we wish there were more slips available to LWW residents.

47.

We are very disappointed that our boat dock (C&D) is not secure. ANYONE can access our boat by easily coming in around the locked gate. Please fix this! We are also disappointed with how much weed growth there is in the marina. It did not appear that this area was scraped when the lake was lowered last season. The new docks are very nice. Lake water clarity remains an issue!

48.

We have been on the Marina list for 3 years and still have a long way to get to the top, it would be nice if we had more docks for members to keep their boats, perhaps even some on the other side of the lake. Love the gas docks' easy accessibility now with the credit card machine, (although why did you not cover the entire machine from the elements, not just from the sun?) The boat launch gets exteremly slippery and we struggle to get our boat out at times.

49.

lake is small

50.

Lake Comittee is doing a superb job!

51.

keep improving the weed issues with the lake...we must lower the lake every year

52.

Security should better monitor violations in no wake zones

53.

There has been some improvement, but it is hard to believe how little has been done over the years to maintain the quality of the lake! Weeds and algae have taken over and the dredging that should have been done all over has been confined only to one basic area. I truly hope that this year a better job is done around other areas of the lake that need attention and that more effort is made to control the weed/algae problem throughout the months that the lake is used!

54.

Over all, our boating facilities are ok get need a little up dating, i.e. boat storage at Meadow Park "Paving and lined"

55.

Marina weed and algae gets very dense in mid to late summer. Solar Bee seemed to help but not there this summer(?). Deepening the entrance/exit to the marina may produce a better water circulation.

56.

to expensive, to much weeds, need more fish. We pay alot for the association Dues and everything you want to due cost money on top of the dues.

57.

Really appreciate the lake security!

58.

Thanks for the great new docks at Hideway park?

59.

Would like better enforcement of the speed limits after sunset.

60.

too many boats go too fast and too close the shore

61.

The Meadow Park launching ramp is not adequate and creates an unsafe area at times. Boating safety is a large concern. There are too many people who do not know or follow the law. Too many "outsiders" use Lake Wildwood and disregard the law.

62.

The new Marina docks are an outstanding improvement. More marina facilities would be great but where? How about at Meadow Park. How about moving some organized boat storage to the sewer plant side of the camp ground and charging closer to market rates. Outdoor dry boat/trailer parking has now gone to more than $60/month and we are charging only half that. Freeing up some space in Meadow would allow for member parking when at the park for recreation such as bocci ball and picnics, etc.

63.

The launch ramp at Meadow park is too small -- should have a second dock. New docks was made at another park at LWW to dock and use the park. But, what about the launch ramp. We have a pantoon boat and the dock is hard to launch.

64.

Kudos for the new docks in the marina and hideaway.

65.

Make the fuel dock more user friendly, ie. auto credit card reader same as gas stations. Ensure that security is better trained and on the lake more often, especially at dusk. Enforce that weekend/holiday drivers are qualified to safely drive boats. Enforce no wake zones.

66.

The rules on the Lake are not enforced with any consitency

67.

I'm happy that I haven't had an allege problem the past two years along my waterfront. Also, the weed problem is much better. The solarbees are helping the allege, and the herbecides are killing most of the weeds. I had an impossible situation until the recent actions where taken. Thanks!

68.

Meadow Park boat storage should be only for Boats, not empty trailers used for boats which are generally docked on the lake. This deprives non lakefront boat owners of many spaces in the Meadow Park storage area during the summer months

69.

I appreciate all the work the lake committee and others have put in to make our lake the best as can be. However, I feel we should expand the use of Solar Bees to see if they will improve our lake even more. Other lakes report good success with them.

70.

Our boat is an electric powered zodiac

71.

OFten speed boats are pulling water skiers after sunset, which is against the rules

72.

Inadequate storage with easy access to lake

73.

We're very satisfied with the lake with the exception of the Marina which is in pretty bad condition. It needs to be dredged.

74.

The first year on the lake, a security boat seemed to be on the water at all times. Last year my daughter was almost hit by a reckless boater fallowing too close behind her while she was wakeboarding. wife was facing wrong direction in the bow and his chile was too young to be an observer. there was NO security boat on the water anywhere and this year the only time I saw security was on the fourth of July weekend. LWW should strickly prohibit reckess behavior and drinking while operating a motor boat. this is one reason we decided to rent out the house this fall instead of keeping it for our second home. Also, it would be great if water skiers could have use of the lake for the first couple of hours in the morning. once the tubers and wake boarders get out there the water is horrible. Also the CCR's indicate that extra ballast is not allowed, however i have seen numerous wakeboard boats which have ballast pumps loaded down to create huge wakes, if you happen to cross one of these its like a tidal wave and the bigger wakes cause errosion damage to shoreline.

75.

I suggest that some or at least one of the parks should have a low (4" to 6" above water) dock for use by canoeists, kayakers and other small boats. I also suggest that the association consider adding lockable and secure rack storage for kayaks, canoes, and small rowing craft at one of the parks, preferably Meadow Park.

76.

Do not use ramps or parking

77.

The water is clearer than it has been in several years..It would seem the the solarbees and the spraying for weeds is taking affect.

78.

Need better docks at Vista. More in water storage.

79.

We did not register our boat this year, as we feel that the fees were too high. We registered at Englebright Lake for $30 for the entire year. Last year LWW lake was so filled with green moss/algae that we choose not to put our boat back on the lake. We did notice that it was cleaner this year when we kayaked. We would like to see a one day fee/ permit for LWW residence to be able to use the Lake when family members come to visit.

80.

We have not taken our boat to other lakes for several years but may in the future.

81.

It would be nice if there were more facilities available, but I'm not sure where you would put them.

82.

would be great to control use of ski course to members of ski club or a minimum tournment ski boats to prevent damage,,, maybe set aside a 3-4 hr block week day am 7-11 no wake inside ski course bay except course use(ie skiers only use to keep water smooth for the use of the course

83.

General disregard for 5 MPH speed limits in no wake zones.

84.

Love the new docks at Hideaway Park.

85.

More dock space for summer use. I see a lot of slips open, yet cannot store my boat. More docks would be a great money raiser. low maintence and high income. Seems a win-win

86.

What little boating I do on our lake is fine.

87.

The new docks at the Marina and Hidaway are really nice. The lake quality seems to be improved this year.

88.

We certainly can see the need for more Marina Docking, but other than that, we love the boaating at LWW

89.

Two suggestions: somehow limit the tubers. I enjoy the sport too, but it is not the wakeboarders or the skiers that erodes the shoreline and makes the huge wakes. it is the tubers, that ride and ride at slow mph and never fall off.they go round and round. we are building the new rec. center, why doesn't it include a snack shack that has hambergurs hot dogs, beer, soda, ice, fishing tackle and more for boaters, beach goers and more??? how about a pier off the pool side beach for boaters to dock aon and get a snack or supplies at the snack shack/grill???? ohhh one more thing...you have a lot of people waiting for boat slips...i have seen many slips without boats all year round....and some slips with sunken row boats in them...cann we somehow move the list along to people who aren't "saving" thier slip for a different time?

90.

Keep the docks in better condition.

91.

boat storage options would be greatly appreciated

92.

The docks at the Meadow launch need to be redone (new decking) proper cleats need to be installed for tying down boats get rid of the rings that are in place very hard to tie down boat with these. The parking lot needs to be paved this will stop the cars from spinning douhnuts which happens all the time (I live accross the street)and hopefully not give them a reason to go down their for other mischief. The boatowners would be very happy ending the dust problem on and in the boats. The entire lot does not have to be paved, you could leave it dirt where the boats sit.

93.

Wish the lake and it's committee had more influence / support from the association compared to the the vary high ratio of support to the golf course and associated expenses. It is "Lake Wildwood". Without the lake, what would it be -- just another golf course....

94.

I am on the waiting list for dry storage. It is frustrating to see empty trailers in the dry storage all year when I have to pay to store my boat in a storage facility approx 5 miles from LWW.

95.

We like having sand on the boat ramp so its not slippery when loading/unloading. It would be nice to have trashcans at the marina so when we unload we can put trash and recycling there. Even if they are right outisde of the gate (they don't necessarily have to be on the dock). We love the new dock and lights.

96.

Launch ramp needs to be replaced soon

97.

We're giving up the boat because there is no place to dock it.

98.

The effort to work on th lake seems to be effective and the quality of swiming in the lake has improved this year over last year. The new docks in the marina are terrific. However, we despriately need an addition "T" dock at Vista park. This is where many of us use vista park to pick up guest that go out on the lake with us. However, many of the people that don't live here and only use the lake on weekends think that they can PARK their boats at vista park as long as they want to and use the park for picknicking. The problem is that we use the park to load and unload people and to stop when guest need to go to the restroom. When other boats are parked there, it is almost impossilbe to bring in a large pontoon boat to allow 6-10 guest to go to the restroom. It we could add a "T" dock which would stick out from the main dock, then more than one boat could stop at the park at the same time. There should also be a sign limiting the time that boats can park at Vista. It should be for loading and unloading and rest stops at all times. NO Parking at all

99.

The new docks are very nice.

100.

This year the lake has been fairly well maintained weed-wise; early on, the pond weed was in obvious presence but thanks to the harvester it became much less obvious late August and Sept. Some boaters, my estimate is 30%, don't know or intentionally ingnore, the 5 mph speed limit for being inside the yellow buoys; there seems to be littly policing by our security boat on the lake. We need to better advertise the speed limit inside the buoys; this represents a major safety issue for swimmers.

101.

We need a bigger storage area for winter storage since we cannot store for winter if we use the Marina in the summer.

102.

The 2008/2009 fee increase for a marina slip was way too high. We don't need to be compared to Lake of the Pines fees, because we cannot park our boat there.

103.

While our lake is drained, and we're spending $ to dredge, why don't we look into ways to have the overabundance of weeds manually extricated. I've heard about this being done in other lakes that aren't able to drain, so I would imagine it would be even easier in one that can be lowered. I know it's expensive, but I'm guessing sonar and the solar bees weren't cheap. And now that boats that enter LWW have to go through a screening process due to the zebra mussel issue, we can have a bit more "control" over the possibility of weed transfer as well. It seems very apparent, that what is currently being done to eradicate the overgrowth of weeds is not 100% effective. It was a good idea, we tried it, it's not working, let's move on. Our private lake is our greatest and most unique asset. We need to go the extra mile to ensure that it is always kept in great shape...not just for boaters, but also for swimmers and those who pay a premium for lakefront and lakeview homes. We can't just have lip-service and placating political comments when it comes to maintaining our lake, we need swift and effective action.

104.

Launch ramp is very slippery, perhaps concrete ribs for better traction.

105.

Pave the driving lane thru Meadow Park to control the dust.

106.

Vegetation in lake unacceptable. Water level low in summer

107.

weed problem at the launch ramp
