Please "modernize" the Bits and Pieces- the news is generally of good quality (actually has more announcements than news so that could be considered) but the overall look is dated, graphic at top with cocktail glass and cards is not reflective of a family community. Please consider making the pool a truly year-round facility. Please increase patrols on the lake. Please consider adding cross walks and more walker friendly, safe routes along the streets. Please support the walking trail and develop a longer trail if possible for walkers. Please open offices on some Saturday mornings. PLEASE further develop a fire safety master plan to include consideration of removal of some of the half-dead pine trees and dead trees on private property. Please consider sponsoring a committee or subcommittee for the study and education of responsible treatment of the wild life including the birds around LWW.

survey is too long

Meadow Park boat storage needs a lockable gate so it can be locked during the closed hours. This would prevent thief and damage to the items stored there and stop people who drive cars in circles in the gravel at night. Close gate at 11:00 PM Open gate at 5:30 AM. I live across from Meadow Park and hear and see things in the night.

We were looking forward to making the move off of acreage into a more controlled environment as we look toward retirement. We even welcomed the rule enforcement until we started getting jerked around by the powers that be. We are having major second thoughts about retiring there now. It is nice to have someone to enforce the rules on people that are blatantly breaking them but when someone (us) is doing their best to comply and actually going above and beyond and they (we) are still getting harassed, this is enough to make us pause and reconsider.

5.

Survey committee did an excellent job.

6.

When we retired and moved to LWW in 1997, we bought a patio boat and enjoyed it for a few years until it became too much trouble to take care of (we don't live on the lake). We have never been golfers or active swimmers. However, we have made so many friends here in LWW by way of its clubs and activities, and I'm sure, in part, that it is due to the "happiness" of our area. We have had our home on the market now for about 2 years.....no luck selling. I have decided that this is our home and am happy to be staying here after all. We thought we wanted (and my husband may still think this) to move to be nearer our daughter in Rocklin and to buy a mobile home with much less maintenance involved. He complains about all the oak leaves that need to be raked....maybe I need to pay someone to do it for him ! There's not much I believe really needs to be changed about LWW immediately. The dining facilities have always been an issue with us......that will only change when LWW can afford to pay a qualified chef, etc. Security might be in the same category.....more coverage is needed. We have wonderful neighbors and friends and I can say we are very happy here and have been since moving here 11 plus years ago. Thank you

7.

Thanks for letting us participate in this survey!

8.

Keep the dues down

9.

I did not like the way you had to answer questions 96/97/98/99/100/101. In most cases I had no opinion but I was required to answer.

10.

Overall LWW is a good place to live. I feel we need more attention to other needs besides the golf course. A gym, not large, maybe similar to Wildwood Fitness Center, would benefit many in LWW, also year around swimming for those who have problems with exercise. We also need to have more things for the kids to do. Have dances or something for teenagers so they do not have to prowl the streets. Our kids always said LWW was boring for kids at night.

11.

I feel that dependent on how many people like me do or do not submit answers to this survey, the results may be flawed. The requirement to priortize, with no other options, of some facilities or activities, will also result in flawed survey results. I am a 21 year resident of LWW on a fixed annual income. Many of the older residents are no longer with us do to various reasons. It is more than difficult, on a fixed income, to keep up with the 8% average annual increase in costs over these many years. These increased annual costs require frugal budget adjustments by me. These adjustments, possibly will mean in my very near future, an undersirable decision will have to be made because of being between a rock & a hard spot. I realize that changes are required to be made, but I think there is to much effort & costs expended to satisfy the very vocal newer residents & their desires for a country club atmosphere. This is comparable to one of a married couple trying to change the other more to his /her liking. There are a few ammenities in LWW that need major adjustments to their operation, as the cost of operation has for a long time not justified the end result. Either that or they need to be able to expand their client base to better expand their income capabilities. The costs to eat & drink at the club is to great a difference between doing the same at home for me. Also the availibilty of many local resturants, offering varieties of quality food & service at affordable costs, the club cannot compete with.

12.

Good Luck!

13.

I think I have said enough!

14.

The Solarbees don't seem to do any good and at this point appear to be a monumental waste of money. Has the Lake Committee considered an aeration pump system, like LOP has, to increase oxygen levels in the lake? I don't know the effectiveness or cost of such a system, but would be interested to find out the specifics about it. Weeds are still a big problem in the lake. If the Clubhouse is expanded or rebuilt, it would be nice to have a bigger bar area and more extensive food service something on the order of BJ's Brewhouse. We enjoy the food there while watching sports and can almost always get out of there for $50 for the two of us.

15.

CC&R's should be enforced without people having to complain. Enforcement should be consisent throughout all of Lake Wildwood. Many properties are poorly maintained.

16.

Thanks again for listening to us!

17.

Deer and skunks have more rights in LWW than pets do. A dead tree can stand for years because you have to get permission to get it cut down. A house with overhanging branches is in danger of burning because the trees can't be cut down. Neighbors can be rude and obnoxious without any recourse. I am glad we are moving.

18.

We all moved here for the same reason, it's a beautiful place to live. So let's keep it that way. Our current facalities support just about all our residents needs. We see not reason to build something bigger in order to make it better. We do believe that all of our facalities need to be maintained at the highest level.

19.

RAISE THE SPEED LIMIT AND ADD SIDEWALKS

20.

Re: Improvements. Let us minimize the effect of forcing people out due to economic reasons.

21.

Keep up the good work and every improvement is a pulse. Lake Wildwood is a great place to live and enjoy the good life.

22.

I am grateful for the opportunity to take this survey. Hopefully, you will get many people to participate.

23.

The Board should be more honest ( with their reasons) in cutting ammenities (such as the excuse that at the parking lot had to be used for construction and therefore the use of the pool had to go. The pool wasn't even in the budget. It had to be added as an extra cost to the assessment. Board members were deaf to the needs of seniors, in particular, in our need for a source of exercise for our hearts and lungs. Some of us are too old for golf, tennis, etc. The Board showed a lack of care for our seniors.

24.

Since I am only one person and not a golf-or tennis player, or own a boat, my evaluations may be askew. I'm very happy living here and realize that all the amenities we have here have to be maintained and improved as time goes by. I'm grateful to all the people that volunteer for the many jobs to keep Lake Wildwood what it is today and will be in the future. Thank you.

25.

Each time I tried to put in a numerical choice in your boxes, the computer would not allow 2 of the same choices in the same survey question. Therefore I feel the survey is not accurate. If I put in numerical choices 1 through 5 in descending order, the survey worked--but that was not always my opinion--so, this is not going to be accurate unless you fix this problem.

26.

Thank you for developing this survey. Good luck in interpreting it and in utilizing the results.

27.

Lake Wildwood is a good community with good amenities. However, the community is clearly in transition from elderly retirement community to one of active retirees and families. Lake Wildwood offers some activities for families, but they seem to be the easy accommodations, rather than thoughtful ones. Retirees and families need to be more active, to have flexible hours and more regular communication. Increased electronic communications (email, blogs, and podcasts), increased walking access within the community, and additional hours at pools and restaurants would be highly desirable if Lake Wildwood is to become a more active community.

28.

Thank you for providing this in an electronic format. I encourage the association to utilize electronic communication more.

29.

Excellent survey. Thanks for putting it online. Really like Master Plan and the fact that I see some action after 10 years here!

30.

I watch bicyclists ride into WW, without stopping - there should be a security stop - they ride around the gate

31.

Love it here, great people, lots of activities, SAFE, no fences so the animals can run free

32.

We really appreciate this survey and the opportunity to give our ideas and vision of where we would like to see Lake Wildwood develop in the future. Thank you.

33.

We need to face the fact that Lake Wildwood is caught up with the need for major changes in our infrastructure, the services we receive, and the business processes that deliver those services. Members need to keep involved and help guide the change.

34.

/Thank you and the Board for considering our opinions.

35.

We are happy with LWW and look forward to becoming permanent residents in a few years. It's a great place for family to gather in the summers. The quality and condition of the lake is our first priority. Golf and clubhouse second. Parks and other infrastructure third.

36.

The price of club membership remains a bargain. Your Master Plan is thoughtfully conceived. We will be so relieved when we at last drop anchor here. Have a great day/week/month/year. We will see you soon.

37.

Thank you for asking our opinion!!!

38.

We love it here at the lake, we have met so many new friends and there are so many activities, plenty of fun social things. Love going to the club and love showing off all our wonderful facilities. Just need to update a little, I know you are doing the best you can to make this a wonderful place for all.

39.

LWW needs to develop senior condos for the growing number of residents that wish to stay in LWW but have reached the age where downsizing is necessary. The properties at the North gate would be ideal for multifamily housing to accomodate these needs.

40.

Less is better than more in our current economic environment. Help us cope with the increasing costs of living by doing less and charging less. Let "improvements" be supported through fee-for-service charges. People who golf, use the lake, tennis courts, swimming pool, club house... should be charge according to their usage. Improvments, those that are actually justified, need to be paid for by those who uses those services and amenities. Let members vote with their individual wallets. This approach would lead to more realistic planning by our leadership who may be experiencing the current economic down-turn less severely than others in the community. At least that's the best theory I can come up with as I read the list of well intended but expensive proposed improvements. Thanks, Ken Buchanan 14872

41.

Walking paths along side of the main roads would be make it a lot safer and more pleasnt for one of the most popular hobbies in LWW—walking. Expensive, yes, but perhaps worth investigating in future surveys. And I believe it would add to our property values. They could be built little by little as moneys comes available until, eventually, many miles of paths could exist—perhaps one all the way around the lake that would include bicycling (similar to the one on highway 89 from Squaw Valley through Tahoe City). Not certain how the Pleasant Valley Road stretch could be handled though. Perhaps a fenced in pedestrian bridge could be attached to the current traffic bridge over the spillway to connect Wildflower Drive to Chaparral Circle. Then there would need to be an easement between lots on Chaparral Circle. Long term thinking of course—I'll be long gone. Walking is particularly dangerous on Chaparral Drive curve over the Wildwood Creek inlet to the lake (very near the Lake Forest Drive junction. There is little to zero shoulder on that blind curve yet many people walk it everyday. That would be a good place to start. This survey took me a couple of hours to thoughtfully and competently complete. I doubt everyone will want to devote that much time to it, although I hope they do. Perhaps some sort of a incentive for completing it would be to the advantage of all. That could be $10 off next year's dues, two complimentary dinner's at the restaurant or some other incentive. Free dinners at the Pine Room would be a way of attracting customers like me who have given up on the place yet want to see if any improvements have entered the dire picture. This survey is important enough to pay a little something for.

42.

A suitable and sizable dance floor is preferable to auditorium features. Anticipation of future lake needs is of primary importance.

43.

there are some things we do not like about the CC&Rs and the lack of other CC&Rs but overall not a bad place to live.

44.

Some questions on the survey are of equal valuebbut you were unable to check them.

45.

THE PRO SHOP COMPARED TO OTHERS IN THE AREA IS FAR BELOW ANY STANDARD RENTAL CARTS ARE GARBAGE SELECTION OF CLOTHING FOR GUESTS IS TERRIBLE.AS FOR GOLF EQUIPMENT MOST OF US GO ELSEWHERE

46.

You forgot to ask how much we would be willing to pay for any of the improvement items. This is a little bit like sending a letter to Santa Clause. The results may be skewed by how many people engage in the individual activities. (golfers). I would like a first class golf course if it is paid for substantially by others than me. Maybe you can do a follow up survey with results from this one, showing higher interest items and then how much are we willing to pay.

47.

I hope that many of the large capital expenditures will be amortized well into the future. We want to be able to continue to afford living here and association fees have more than doubled in the last 5 years.

48.

Since the price of gasoline has risen so steeply in the past few years I believe it's time to allow alternative types of vehicles (ii.e. motor scooters, low decibel sounding motorcycles). Bike and hiking paths are needed as most roads are quite narrow to walk/ride on.

49.

It is very important that the results and conclusions of this survey and others like it are summarized and distributed to our membership and when decisions are being made using these results be communicated on a continuing basis..

50.

The demographics of Lake Wildwood are changing. The community serves a different clientele than when the community was originally founded. Lake Wildwood needs to become more inclusive. Families with children should feel welcomed. Rules and/or attitudes about motorcyles, skateboards, children outdoor playground equipment, etc should be changed. The roads in general are not condusive to skateboards, so perhaps in the updates of the parks, a skateboarding facility should be included. Nowadays, many professionals drive motorcyles. With the increase desire to reduce gasoline consumption, more people are choosing to commute by motorcyle. By the way, no one in our household either skateboards or drives a motorcycle.

51.

Living on a fixed income while coping with inflation and higher taxes, assessments, etc., I do not share the BOD's level of enthusiasm for major improvements. At some point, many of us in my financial position will have to leave LWW because we can no longer afford to live here. Take it easy, fellas!

52.

Thank you to the Lake Wildwood 2008 opinion survey committee.

53.

I very much like the idea of surveys like this. Comment & suggestion boxes such as this one should be available for each question. It's much more difficult to quantify, but when you have to make a choice of provided answers, the type of answers offered to question can predict any given outcome. You start out with a desired outcome, and design your questions and answers to support that outcome. Question #96 is a perfect example.

54.

We are very satisfied the LWW, but again would like to stress that it is very important the property owner's maintain their cleanliness and upkeep of their properties.

55.

I would put very satisfied in question 103, except for the extremes of summer heat and winter cold and rain.

56.

really like the communication started by Marty D when he was board chairman. felt that more information was conveyed with his letters although I do read the bits and pieces as well as the TWI I agree that our infrastructure is old and outdated and little projects (signs etc) can have a big impact as can the major, more costly, projects..........the updating of landscape at Hideaway is great. Our pool is really a marvelous healthy amenity for all ages and it has been incredibly frustrating to see it unused all winter when there has never been a "real, honest" survey of what people would pay to help keep it open most of the year..........If the lake is unsupervised, why do we have life guards during the "adult only" swim times. Any time children are in the pool it sure have the life gaurds present. life here is good and the restaurant could learn a lot from local moderately priced restaurants on how they succeed without a huge annual subsidy from the association

57.

It was difficult to prioitize some of the survey questions. It would seem more relevant to have "No Opinion" or level of importanceto the individual, of the item in the survey.

58.

We feel it is a beautiful place to live, however it seems like most folks are living in a time warp and don't want to make any changes, and the voting rules make change almost impossible anyway. The antiquated rules like no dogs ANYWHERE ANYTIME, and no motorcycles allowed from our houses to the gates will keep this community from growing and sustaining. Without new buyers, the community cannot sustain itself. We do nothing to attract new buyers, instead we try to keep people out. That will eventually not work and will harm all of our property values.

59.

Homeowners should not be allowed to rent their homes! This brings an unwanted element and takes away from the "gated community" concept. Annual golf membership cost should be increased substantially and the total number of golf memberships should be restricted. If motor cycles are not allowed then this rule should apply to ALL "loud" vehicles ie: dune buggys etc. Dining facilities should be at the top of the list for improvements. The service, ambiance & food selection all have alot to be desired. We would love to entertain company within Lake Wildwood but it has always been a disaster so we opt to dine elsewhere.

60.

Greens are to slow. they need to be verticut and rolled on a regular basis.Blue tee boxes need work on #4 box leveling with the plugs after the arification and #9 tees are back under the tree to often the box should be mowed 3 to 4 feet farther up.And no more curbs on the golf course.? Who is the genius?

61.

When you ask for all the ideas and improvements be sure and ask if "YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR IT", the answers will be very different if there is a hefty financial impact. We have many levels of income here and we don't want to strap the less fortunate to please the wealthy. Thanks for the survey and I would be glad to help in any way to get the unsightly residences cleaned up for those that are physically or financially unable. Owner of rented houses have a responsibility to clean things up as do all owners in LWW. Good luck!

62.

I wish we could have underground telephone poles and side walks and street lights. I know that is probably impossible now, but a few low intensity street lights would be nice. There was nothing in this survey about the walkers. As a walker, we take our life in our hands everyday trying to get a good walk in. We need to so something about the sides of the roads to make walking easier and safer for the walkers, baby strollers, dogs and wheel chairs.

63.

We are generally very pleased with our life here in LWW. There's lots of activities available but thus far we haven't taken advantage of many of them. We are busy with outside interests etc that cuts our time but still we appreciate all the clubs, etc that LWW has available. Maybe we'll be able to participate more in the future.

64.

We enjoy living here. When we return from a vacation or a trip, we feel like we are still on vacation!!

65.

After 18 years here I still love it! For the first time in my life I look forward to coming home from vacations.

66.

Since we have loved living here for the past 10 years we think that the updating of Lake Wildwood will only make it more beautiful and also a very valuable place to live and we hope that all that is being projected will be able to be completed.

67.

For us, the most important improvement is providing a really good, reasonably priced, restaurant. Our experience with the Boating police has not been good, seems they are low grade individuals with little to do, who have stopped people for very very picky reasons. Personnel in the gatehouses are very friendly and helpful.

68.

would stronly support an exercise room with weights and machines even if I had to pay a fee for use, either on a monthly or yearly basis. Would strongly support a monthly fee of $50 to $ 100 for use in the bar or dining room. Need the pool open year round. The association needs to set the example of cutting trees that are overgrown and an extreme fire hazard. Maybe we could enlist a company to come in several days a week at a fixed price to do tree removal. I was here during the 49er fire and we are less prepared now then we were then...

69.

Back home we had a group in the Senior Center that called themselves The SALT Council---"Seniors and Lawmen Together"- Each month a representative of the Sheriff's Dept. conducted a meeting with seniors in the community . Issues of importance to the seniors and ,for that matter, to the community were discussed. The sheriff's rep. spoke of trends in the county, scams to be wary of, senior safety, cooperative programs for both parties, how to assist the lawmen, etc... Meeting were always well attended and productive ( and social gatherings).... LWW Security could initiate the program and we could keep it just within the bounds of LWW ....

70.

1. We LOVE it here. 2. I can't believe all the activities. 3. The new Board & GM should continue to act

71.

We appreciate the efforts of the LWW Lake Committee and the Board of Directors in addressing the issues of our lake and their efforts to reduce the weeds and we hope that will continue to be an active program. This is our major asset and must be protected.

72.

I love living in Lake Wildwood and appreciate all of the hard work done by the many people on the Board, Committees and staff in making this community the wonderful place it is.

73.

I know that it is a bit outdated in places, but we are just so grateful to be able to live in LWW and hope that too many assessments and increases don't move us out. A lot of the people coming in have a much larger income than we do and we are happy for them. We just don't want to be priced out of this wonderful place. Our COLA this year was $28/mo. That doesn't pay for too many increases. With all that has happened with price increases on everything, we already have much less to live on. Thank you for all the time and effort that has been put in to this and all the other ongoing projects. We do appreciate the very hard work on your part.

74.

While there is much effort being expended to improve Lake Wildwood amenities, I am disappointed that there is not so much effort exerted to maintaining Lake Wildwood's appearance. I would like to see more enforcement when it comes to trash cans, boats, bags of trash and unsightly lawns and homes that dot this Association.

75.

The quality of food and service needs to be worked on. A very large % of resiidents think of going elsewhere when dining out. What a shame. It is enjoyable to ride one's golf cart to the restaurant, only to then be disappointed. Yes, the Monday taco theme has been a success

76.

The sections of the survey where asked to rate my opinion of the importance of need were difficult to answer. I would have liked to have had the option of being able to indicate that I saw no need at all for the proposed change.

77.

I have lived in LWW since 1986 and have seen the yearly dues go from $300 range to approaching $1600. Now that I am retired I live on a fixed and reduced income I worry about how quickly the dues will go higher and that I may be forced to sell my house because of these escalating costs. I think that all of the board members are conscientious and caring individuals. I hope that one or more are in a pinch so that they may emphasize with some of us broke folk.

78.

We love living here but realize that improvements must be made before things start to fall apart. Also, to remain a place that people want to retire too (which helps all of our property values) we need to modernize our facilities...... Thanks to the survey committee for all their hard work.

79.

Considering the price of gas, would like allowance for usage of low noise scooters/trikes; electric or gas@250cc or less (not motorcycles). They could be registered with Security and the noise output level measured by them to be less than some determined value (eg 90db). Noise meters are inexpensive ($100 range) Having a little something to take into Grass Valley/Nevada City that gets 80mpg makes a lot of sense to me when I need to get a widget at B&C to fix something or just to get a bite to eat. It really would be nice to have an exercise equipment room in the new community center.

80.

Overall, this is a good survey. I appreciate all the time and effort that went into it. Many of the amenities asked about in the later questions are not ones that I would use. I would, however, encourage the planning group to consider community gardens. It is inexpensive (unlike most of the items listed) and could pay for itself with nominal rents. Thank you for your consideration.

81.

Keep up the good work.

82.

Would like to see development of condo's. and/or elderly housing in Lake Wildwood so that LWW facilities would be available to those residents.

83.

ANY IMPROVEMENTS SHOULD BE JUSTIFIED BY A REAL NEED RATHER THAN A BOGUS REQUIREMENT GENERATED BY AN OVER EAGER SMALL GROUP OF PLANNERS OR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS UNCONCERNED ABOUT EXPENSES BALANCED AGAINST INCOME OR GENERAL BENIFIT FROM THE IMPROVEMENT. LET ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION BE THE GUIDING LIGHT IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS. I.E. COST BENIFIT ANALYSIS SHOULD BE APPLIED.

84.

The need for this survey is real, but the format of the survey does not allow for expressing opinions other than within the structure of the survey. Example: Question #100. I do not feel their is a need for a fitness center in Lake Wildwood, yet I am required by the survey to prioritize

85.

This survey is a very good idea and shows the board and management are sincerely trying to listen to what the community wants.

86.

We need to continuously upgrade/maintain the overall facilities.

87.

living here is a rare priviledge which is enhanced by one of the last available lake sites in CA complimented with a golf course and other amenities. I have confidence the new bd and gm will endevor to correct some of the inequities with the full cooperation of the association members.

88.

Survey's too long, but good work!! I hope you publish the results.

89.

One of the reasons we elected to move here four years ago was the quality of maintenance of the Association facilities, including roads, parks, golf course, buildings, as well as the security of controlled gates and an active, armed security force. We have not been disappointed in our expectations. We also considered the annual assessment fee, which we considered manageable on our retired income. Since we moved here, the annual assessment (including the $100 override), have exceeded the CPI, and the fees have gone out of sight! The boat dock fee, for instance, has increased over 40 percent! This parallels the practices of county governments, who have found that lacking the ability to raise taxes after Proposition 13, have latched on to increasing fees as a means of increasing revenue. The proposed General Plan assumes funding which includes sale of existing properties, including the campground site which has been nixed by the County (to their credit), due to proximity to the sewer plant. Realization of the General Plan MUST conform to realistic funding sources, and cannot proceed under the assumption that any lack of funding can be made up by increasing either fees or the annual assessment of association members beyond the increases reflected in the Consumer Price Index. While funds must be provided for operations and maintenance of our facilities, improvements and additions must not exceed our ability to pay.

90.

The Survey is a good idea, thanks for asking for feedback.

91.

Did not agree with the security Services rating of 1 to x. Would have been better to use a very important, important and not important scale. I feel that all of those services are extremely important.

92.

Again, do not use the rating system. Allow the people to vote for what they want and not have to rank something they do not want in the first place. You will not have a good survey with the latter part of the program. It is not giving the person an opportunity to say what they would like to see happen in the future.

93.

We love living here. Everything may not be perfect and we are happy to see the way the board is working to improve things. We are looking forward to seeing the results of the survey.

94.

Is the goose feces in Vista Park only cleaned up once a week? It needs to be more often. When will that sign on Chaparral EVER be turned correctly? We are very happy to be a part of this community........best move we ever made!!!! We've never had a bad meal at the clubhouse -- slow service, maybe.......but always good food!

95.

If folks would go to town hall meetings, and really show an interest, perhaps this kind of survey would not be necessary. How to Get them to attend incentive? Offer Free meal, or access to an entertainment, or ???? Too bad, but people need incentives, I believe.

96.

Our household has a great concern over the rising assesment fees. Subsidizing golf with assesment fees does not seem appropriate. Finding a way to make the golf course support itself should be a priority. I would like to reiterate the need for allowing motorcycles into LWW. Times are changing and LWW needs to change with them. If noise is the issue, a decible reader at the front gates could solve the problem. Dogs on leash in the parks would make them more user friendly. Locally grown foods are going to be more important as time goes on. Allowing larger vegetable gardens and perhaps chickens would be beneficial to LWW residents.

97.

A place for dogs to play with other dogs and access to the water...There are so many members with dogs in Lake Wildwood.

98.

As the golf course use by owners is declining, we should allow renters to play. They could be given a lower priorty in scheduling and a slightly higher fee.

99.

The survey is to looong!

100.

I truly enjoy living at Lake Wildwood. I value highly our financial solvency. I am concerned about the position of some of our replacement reserve accounts. Many capital holdings are not currently on replacement reserve (i.e. golf greens). Somewhere along we were misled about having golf as a self-supporting amenity. Our 2 most valuable amenities are handled completely differently. The lake is supported by all 2,800+ owners. The golf course is mostly paid for by golfers only. I contend that a very large amount of our home values are a result of golf #1, lake #2, etc. All homeowners benefit greatly by the existence of the golf course. A much larger component of our support of that amenity should come from everyone as part of their annual fees.

101.

Question #1 - member number or lot number - unclear Question #4 - gender requested and yet a household was supposed to work together to answer survey questions - confusing With the forced choice ranking of items such as the master plan items, there was no response for "no importance at all". We were forced to appear to support excercise facilities when we do not think they are a viable option for our small community. Where was the question of ranking the Master Plan projects as to relative importance to our household? This was a beginning but I really think more surveys should be forthcoming to answer many of the challenges we face in our future. Thank you!

The golfers at Lake Wildwood play golf at the expense of all the other members. This has got to be changed. It has caused low property values, a seedy looking establishment and a generally unappetizing situation here. We are in a recession; it is time that the golfers quit playing at our expense and pony up fees sufficient to maintain the golf course. It is also time to hunker down and wait out the recession before spending a lot of money on improvements. As usual, the Board's timing is atrocious; they wait until the boom is over and then start the improvements. It is time for the Board to wake up to reality and start acting responsibly. It is also time to make sure that enough people run for office that we actually have a choice. This Club is beginning to get the reputation of being Zimbawe west; one office = one candidate. Hand-picked by the way to taody to the golfers. Enough is enough.

LWW takes the concept of a gated community too far in the direction of an overly-restrictive, quasi-planned society. Sometimes it feels like LWW exists only to grow more restrictions, more costly "amenities", higher annual dues, and increased hassle to get in and especially out. It is becoming reminiscent of a minimum security prison crossed with a paternalistic retirement home, with ever increasing cost. The leadership seems to be composed of frustrated social engineers, golf addicts, and people who feel the need to impose their personal version of an ideal community on everyone else and then forcing the inmates to pay yet more for their incarceration in the "improved version 2.0 of LWW. Maybe LWW should just mandate one approved vehicle in one color that we all must own if we want to drive in LWW. Of course, it would need to be golf course compliant. Then we can move on to what color to have all the houses painted and think up some more nifty ways to spend money on more "improvements" in Version 3.0, like a dedicated bingo hall, some shuffleboard courts, more golf holes (of course!), and biometric security devices to get into or out of our improved correctional facility. I'm sure we'll be able to "find" some more money for our Utopian vision of the Board and the Aging Golfers Union.

105.

The rental golf carts need to be updated!!!

106.

Again a gym for everyone and some kind of boat dock that would have a snack shop to purchase cool drinks and snack food for boat traffic.

107.

Thank You for doing this survey, I hope you really take the time to read and take into cosideration all of the thoughts and opinions of each and every member of this wonderful community! Lakewildwood is already good, but we could make it so much better, now is our chance!!

108.

Overall we are satisfied that we bought here. There is always room for improvement and we are happy to see that you are getting imput from the owners. Thanks.

109.

For dog owners, it would be nice if we were allowed to have some type of fence on our property, so that our dogs could go out on their own without being on a leash. Or have more areas where dogs are allowed...we understand that owners need to be more responsible in cleaning up after their dogs...that should always be enforced. One suggestion for the Clubhouse...it would be so convenient if they had delivery service from the diningroom...possibly only serving deliveries during a certain timeframe on certain days? It would be so helpful for those who are unable to get around easily. In general, Lake Wildwood has been a very nice change for us, moving here from the east bay area. Residents are friendly, and we feel safe and secure here. It is a very well maintained gated community.

110.

One issue that I feel important to mention here is my dissatisfaction with the current motorcycle/scooter rules. I feel this issue should be taken up by the BOD and not just blamed on "the people's vote." I think there is a certain amount of un-informed people making the decision to not allow motorcycles and/or scooters operate inside LWW. Aside from the fact that the motorcycle parking areas leave alot to be desired and are not secure, motorcycles and scooters are a very economical and practical way to get around. The sales of motorcycles and scooters has grown exponentially since the oil commodities went up. I believe LWW is more of a year-round, young family atmosphere than a retirement or vacation community. Some of these families would love to save money and ride a m/c that gets 50-70 mph. It is ridiculous that a current paying member cannot ride a motorcycle or scooter to their house. Other local associations allow their members to ride inside the premises and have few issues/complaints in regards to that decision. In closing, I am pleased the BOD is taking the time to conduct this survey. I hope you get some good ideas from the community. With a few changes and some hard work, LWW will continue to be a great place to reside.

111.

Question # 4 of this survey, should have had a third option, I.E. 'husband/wife' or 'joint response'.

112.

Lake Wildwood is the finest place we have found in California, where we have lived all our lives. Because of our advanced ages and infirmities, we don't use the facilities as much as we once did, but appreciate having them available to us and our visitors. We have no complaints.

113.

Thanks for allowing us to express our views. Please continue to implement the Master Plan and develop a firm plan for updating our golf course.

114.

Think the survey is poorly constructed with regard to clubhouse and pool enhancements...forcing a choice of priorities is much less effective than allowing us to "weight" the importance of each item on a scale of 1 to 5.

115.

Appreciate the opportunity for input, from what we understand, results will be shared with all members. We think that parks should be upgraded over next few years;in parallel with this over that time period, decide on what should be done with clubhouse and get members to buy into that ;once this is done, then put lakefront lots up for sale to help pay for what is decided on clubhouse. Clubhouse subsidy should be viewed as part of larger package of comprehensive "subsidy" we also provide to other parts of LWW like security. public works, recreation. We're excited about rec center remodel, should make real contribution to life within LWW and a real attraction to new buyers.

116.

thank you for asking our opinions.

117.

Have only lived in LWW for less than 5 months, so am not really qualified to answer many of your questions. Lovely place, we are very satisfied, and will be more involved when we FINALLY finish unpacking!!

118.

Possible walking paths within Commodore Park

119.

Thank you to all of you who work so hard to make this such a wonderful place to live.

120.

Hopefully the results of this survey will be taken into consideration by the GM and the Board of Directors and not be "just another waste of time" by the association members.

121.

I look forward to all the new ideas that the New Board of Directors are working on, it is exciting to see new blood at the helm.

122.

We have problems with the lake & waste treatment smell and costs increases on dues and fines from the waste treatment. It is wonderful here, so many things to do with all the clubs, water. friends etc. Keep the expenses down. item #103 won't let you select any choices.

123.

a category needs to be added "niether satisfied nor dissatisfied" i will never be satisfied until you voluntarily or are forced to allow motorcycles/motorscooters under controlled noise, speed etc.conditions

124.

We feel that the spending practices should be cut back and operate more like a business instead of operating like the government.

125.

Some results will not reflect my needs and opinions. For example, I would not rank many of the items 1 thru 4 or 5 as they are not important. A better approach would be to have a no opinion column.

126.

We feel we have finally found Paradise. We are like so many people from the Bay area that only had time for work friends. We now have such a strong network of friends and love the abundance of activities offered here. We play many other courses throughout he year, but none compare to LWW. We are very lucky to find this place, and don't ever intend to leave!!!

127.

we love it here!! we are so impressed with all the activities available adn look forward to becoming more involved. overall the place needs a face lift and some modern amenities. love the coffee/cafe idea and workout equipment. would really like to see yoga offered. i notice there aren't activities for new moms. i am creating a group and a program for just such a group and will present it to the board for possible inclusion into future rec department offerings.

128.

Many of the questions, expecially those that require a responder to say something may be his or her first choice, are very misleading and the response can be used to support Association actions that would not be satisfactory to the responder. Forcing one to say something is a first choice, when in fact it is not a satisfactory course of action to the responder, can produce self-serving results. These type of questions server no purpose and should not be in a questionnaire. They force one to question the purpose of the survey.

129.

We realize that the facility is getting old and definitely needs upgrading. Our only concern is the cost. If all this can be done with no more than $100/yr per lot. that's great. With the cost of living going up so fast, it is very difficult for those of us that have been retired for 20 years with no increase in income to keep up with inflation. We would hate to have to move because of this--especially at a time when houses are not selling very fast and at lower prices than a few years ago.

130.

We love LWW, and have had property or a house here since 1971, so we have seen a lot of changes. We have no plans to leave. Hopefully they will improve to Club house service, because you have a gold mine here if you would only make it better. Have you ever thought of contracting the club house service out to someone who knows how to run a restaurant, we have said this for years but know one seems to listen. There are so many that would eat here because of the convienence, but won't because of the wait and service. I have to say I think the food has gotten better and I like the way they very the menu but lets get some SERVICE.......

131.

Thank you for asking. We are anxiously awaiting the results.

132.

Would like to see the Clubhouse dining promote the "takeout orders" option for people living in here. This is basically the closest restaurant and people could order ahead- is there even some way of doing this for the special buffets for a bit lower price (that is like offering a different restaurant/cuisine or rotating menu all at the same location)? It could sell more meals even for those that don't want to dine in. It would be nice to offset member costs with having just a few income generating events here per year- like with golf, tennis, weddings or other opportunities.

133.

Lets tear down the current clubhouse and start over. Lets sell lots and the camp ground and build a new club house and a seperate admin. complex.

134.

We neeed a YEAR AROUND SWIMMING POOL

135.

Our major areas of discontent are: the proliferation of unkempt homes and yards, and the unhealthy quality of the air due to the ozone layer. Obviously, we do not hold the LWW Administration or BOD responsible for the poor air quality, but there is a need for community organization to address the problem at the regional level. On a side note, trash should not be allowed to sit at the curb overnight in plastic bags. The animals in the area are hungry and resourceful, and it's not unusual to see trash scattered up and down the streets. Also, would it be possible to have a single antenna tower installed in LWW to improve cell phone reception throughout the entire community? It could be located near one of the water tanks where it would not impose on personal property. In the area of "truly wishful thinking", it would be great to put all the power lines underground. In addition, if natural gas could be piped in, the unattractive propane tanks could disappear along with the power lines. Yes, I know....it's not going to happen, but it doesn't hurt to dream!

136.

The survey was very long and I was forced to list importance of things in which I have no opinion. You'll not get a real result that way. Let the people who use the fitness center tell you what's important to them. Make some categories optional. Also there is no way to do part of the survey and come back to finish. Good idea to find out what is on members minds.

137.

In spite of being poorly governed, the great people of LWW make it a fine community. It is unfortunant that the Rich folks are moving in hell bent on ivory plating everything to fit their lifestyle that is unattainable by us common folks. In closing, I ask why we continue to retain a department head, specifically, the Golf Superintendent, that is un-qulaified, un-approachable and unwilling to change.

138.

Any golf course improvements should be entirely self-supporting.

139.

We moved to Lake Wildwood because we liked the way it looked and operated. Those that are trying to make it like their own private estate ask them, "Why did you move here in the first place". The facilities will always have to be up graded, but don't build anything until there is proof that it will be used and a necessary new facility.

140.

Very good survey. Lake Wildwood needs to be updated overall.

141.

Thank you for the opportunity to express our interests for the quality of life here at LWW. I hope everyone gets on board for the much needed improvements. This is a wonderful place and I would love to see it flourish with an upgraded image. Being in Real Estate, I hear the good, the bad and the ugly about our community and I would love to see and hear more of "the good." We definitely have a reputation within our county and I'd be so happy not to have to overcome some of the negatives. This is a special place and it would be wonderful if we could all appreciate it, take care of it and expend the money to bring it into this decade! Thanks for all your hard work.

142.

We believe the last few years have been very productive in development of Golf and Community Master Plans and are thankful for having leadership with the vision these plans represent. We do not want to be another LOP and will not if we continue to pursue excellence. One question not asked was about satisfaction level (or not) with our yearly assessment $$. This is a curiosity. We volunteer the following: We believe that LWW continues to offer a unique value at a very reasonable annual cost. We like the way our money is budgeted, watched and expended. We support sale of assets to continue improvements; we do not object to borrowing money to accelerate infrastructure maintenance and improvement of amenities so that the older demographic can see more progress and future users can share in the costs. Pay as you go is fine but does not get the job done early enough for all to enjoy. Accelerated improvements will enhance everyone's property values so there is realized payback in the shorter term. We are willing to pay another $100/year for a LWW mortgage, if that's what it would take, to raise an additional $4 million or so to add to the sale of the 4 lake front lots and do all the major projects. We see that a Clubhouse Committee is being proposed. This seems to be a very good idea. Will they be able to do an on line survey similar to this one? There are many members who may want to say something about the Clubhouse who don't like to stand up in meetings or may be a part of the silent majority who do not go to the clubhouse. We woulld like to know what's on their minds; wouldn't you?

143.

The restaurant is in a good place. It's near the golf course giving access of golfers for drink and food and events. I think the golfers make more use of the restaurant more than any other group.

144.

This is a great place to live. Thanks for requesting the homeowners inputs on this survey.

145.

I think we have a very good facility here that is showing its age and does need refurbishment. I think our former general manager did a fantastic job, and he, plus the BODs, kept our fees under control. We need to bring our clubhouse up to date, and keep the age of our population at the front of all planning. Yes, we have mixed ages, but we do need help for the aging ones as far as access is concerned.

146.

A well maintained lake in a harmful weed/ bacteria free condition must be of prime concern with a more aggressive approach than is now being experienced. We would place this at the top of the survey in importance.

147.

My only problem was that in sections where you could only choose one answer in the level of importance it was necessary to rate some things lower than their importance beacause there was no other choice. If you clicked your actual answer another one would go away.

148.

Lake Wildwood is a gem of a community. I cannot think of anyplace that we would rather live. The value that we receive for our association fees is OUTSTANDING. The new Community Center is sorely needed, as are upgrades to the Clubhouse. The improvements to these two areas will have the most positive effects on our property resale values. Keep up the great work!!!

149.

The Board of Directors is to be congratulated for conducting this survey!

150.

We are new to Lake Wildwood and will reserve our opinion on some of the above until we get better familiar with the runnings of Lake Wildwood. Thank you for this Survey as it has enlighten us on some of the things we did not know about here in Lake Wildwood. Thank You

151.

will we see the results of the survey so we can measure how well the board of directors listened to the members?

152.

Thank you for the survey. It's a big job and we appreciate the effort. I assume that we will get feedback on this.

153.

There are many of us on a fixed income- and don't want to have to pay money for improvements to the chubhouse- am afraid that Lww is trying to "price" out the middle income families. Hopefully they will look at "all" the people who live here- and not just the "well-to-do" The reason we moved here was because of the "diversified" homes etc.

154.

Overall, we enjoy living in Lake Wildwood. However, I don't think Lake Wildwood has a good vision for the younger families in this community - which are the future of Lake Wildwood. Fitness and health have been left to the wayside for way too long, while golf (a dying sport) continues to receive much of the attention. The clubhouse food service program is ridiculous. Way too may hours of operation. Cut that down to a bare minimum and fill the dining rooms so people actually feel like they are eating in a popular area, rather than an abandoned cafeteria. Get rid of the geese - whatever it takes.

155.

Suggest you throw out the gender question, as many households are answering this in tandem!

156.

We love Lake Wildwood and all that it offers. We rarely play golf, but believe that the course is beautiful and an asset to all. The Lake is our centerpiece--we are very pleased with all the hard work and the individuals who volunteered countless hours on the algae and weed problems we experienced in the last few years--and of course the regulatory problems that seemed to have been solved. We applaud the Board of Directors for placing the Lake at the level of importance it merits and taking the steps to protect this priceless asset. The Lake always has to be the primary focus of our community--it defines us. Our parks are a source of pride when we show our community to our guests. The Clubhouse has so much potential, but it's consistent lack of consistency is a sore point. A fitness center would be beneficial to all, and is number one on our list of needed additions to our community.

157.

We are satisfied with our life here at LWW. But it is important to keep up the infrastructure in all areas. Facilities, such as the clubhouse, are very dated and worn, and in need of modernization and replacement, either in part or in whole.

158.

LWW has turned out to be better than we could have hoped. As everywhere, there are some dimples, but overall, most things here are very nice. The demographics are changing, and this is allowing more attention to upgrading and improving the infrastructure. As more specific facilities are added and improved, life styles can only improve and property values can only go up. We favor as much development and physical improvement of the facility as we can all afford, and pursuing new ways to fund them; eg,. gift trusts, etc.

159.

most important to us would be the addition of an exercise facility with treadmills, steppers, circuit training.

160.

A PERSONAL DESIRE TO BUILD A NEW CLUB HOUSE WITH PRO SHOP AS PART OF THE STRUCTURE SIMILAR TO ALTA SIERRA COUNTRY CLUB.

161.

Bits & Pieces is a great tool....Let's get beyond "25 is the Law" and promote other driving concerns---both to reinforce and to educate---"Hands Free" cell phones, "Wipers on--Headlights on", "Give walkers/joggers a break---give them room on the road", "golf carts---give way to cars!", Signal ALL turns"

162.

We've noticed a change in the attitude toward young children and teens that has gone from "they shouldn't exist in LWW" to providing many more activities for the young who live in LWW. I would like to see something put in place where young people can ride their bikes, skateboard in one of the parks. I agree it is not very safe to be doing this on our roads so let's provide a safe place for the young people who live here.

163.

Let us not go into any businesses except being Lake Wildwood.

164.

People are lucky to be here and we hope they appreciate that. Not many places offer the ammenities available to us here.

165.

We are glad we are done.

166.

AGAIN, I IMPLORE YOU TO REMOVE OUR ANSWERS TO #99 AND 100 IF YOU WANT A RELIABLE QUESTIONAIRE.

167.

We hope the improvements will be planned for completion gradually, so that the moderate income families won't be priced out. They should be given the same consideration as the newcomers who want go come in and change everything.

168.

Over the past 3-5 years I have seen great progess in the sense of leadership and direction for LWW. Having finally recognized and acknowledged that LWW is now mostly full time residents, that the facilities are getting older or have gotten old and need repair or replacement, and that it is going to take money, time and effort to improve everything, I think we are on the right track with planning, the lake committee, the golf committee etc. There is a sense of direction and purpose. Any fee increase or assessment is going to be met with resistance, especially by long time residents on fixed incomes, but it has been a great bargain and relatively inexpensive for many years. It is now time to pony up and pay the piper. Like anything else, there is a cost to do business, and the costs keep going up. It is unfortunate that some people may have to move, but, wherever you live, if you can't afford it you have to make a choice. I know a number of people that don't like to see the fees go up because it means "less" that they will leave to their heirs. The time is now, the place is here. Pay for what we have and what we are going to get, and remember that this is still the best bargain around.

169.

Maintaining the quality of the lake is of prime importance. The lake is our #1 asset. It must be maintained at the highest level to insure that people are attacted to this area thereby keeping property values at the highest level possible. As a lakefront property owner, I appreciate that we are able to draw down the lake most every year to do maintenance, etc. I am embarassed that I have not used the pool here at LWW. I would hope that the pool is a priority to maintain here at LWW. I PROMISE to use it soon!! I commend the decision that we are now a "catch and release" lake for all bass fishing here at LWW. Tight fishing regulations in our lake is a must for visitors and residents alike. I dream of an eating facility where one has access from the water. Piers for boat tie up and outdoor eating area(s) would really be special.

170.

Overall quality of life here in Lake Wildwood is very satisfactory. The people who live here are wonderful and various activities and clubs have been great. In the long run, the environment and the community is what makes the lifestyle and quality of life much better in retirement years. Management of Lake Wildwood can't be easy, trying to make all of us happy. The important thing: management needs to comunicate, communicate, communicate; keep an "open door policy" so people don't feel shut out. AND, listening to people's issues and helping people resolve issues would be key.

171.

Thank you for the opportunity to express our opinion.

172.

I find alot of single people live in Lake Wildwood and become isolated from others. It would be great if the dining capacity existed where there was a soup and salad bar that someone might go to by themselves and find others to dine with. I would also like to see more kids night out functions. Can we make the pool more like an aquatic park and add a slide? The Lake Community needs to tighten its belt on finances and put off expansion until the economy improves. It would have been pertinent to re-think the new recreation center rather than pushing ahead with construction. Its time to allow 4 cycle mopeds in light of the current fuel prices. Hold onto those properties owned by the community until some disaster forces us to sell them.

173.

Thank you for taking the time to ask! This survey is a breath of fresh air. I am confident this board will "deliver" on it's promises to upgrade LWW. I do think, though, that the restaurant will be the biggest problem to address. We really need to figure out what is wrong with the way we "process" food here. I suspect we don't pay enough to get better chefs and servers, or maybe people don't want the type of food that is offered or they don't like the atmosphere of the restaurant, etc. Whatever it is, we need to figure out how to manage it better before we commit money for improvements or it will be sunk costs once again. At some courses, the pro shop is linked with the bar (separated by glass) and pub like tables are on the side for quick dining, breakfast, etc. Or, maybe we just need a grab-and-go type of grill that offers the basics, where no waitresses are needed....something simple. Golfers like to keep it simple! A great course, drinks and simple food is all we need. Thanks, again, for your time and effort to improve our quality of life and property values. PS: I recently discovered that not all of LWW residents help pay for the ammenties at the golf course. I think this is crazy! The golf course, lake, parks, tennis courts, fitness center, camps, activities are all part of the ammenties at LWW and the cost should be shared equally whether some people golf, swim, play tennis or not. The course is a major draw to retired folks and helps to maintain property values. I think this should be reviewed and reconsidered. I don't like the idea that we rent to people, let alone would allow renters to golf! This doesn't make sense. Renters do not contribute to the lifestyle of LWW, in fact, a lot of rental homes are deteriorating. It would be interesting to see how many calls Security gets to enforce regulations with renters....again, something to be explored. Renting to weekenders or vacationers is one thing, but renting all year is not a good idea. Just my two cents!

174.

It would be wonderful if the Association would assist residents who are suffering with destruction of property from Woodpeckers. They have cost me a small fortune in repairs and replacement of air conditions and siding on my home that is not covered by homeowners insurance. If I had known what a nuisance they were here I would never have bought a home in Lake Wildwood. Is there any advice or assistance that can be offered?

175.

The pool and the up grades to the pool programs and facilities are the most important item to be addressed in the Master Plan.

176.

This survey forces one to answer questions that are of no interest. A column of no opinion on a number of the questions would help. In particular the questions that ask one to rate the questions asked. This may be important to you but a lot of my answers I answered just to get out of the survey so that what I was interested in would be counted. Therefore I do not know the total value of this type of survey.

177.

We love living in Lake Wildwood. Our kids and our grandkids just adore it. There will always be things that need fixing, or people that want to complain, but overall, it's a darn good place to live.

Lake Wildwood is a nice place with many opportunities to make it wonderful. Every time our family and freinds have come up, no one wants to go home. I try to keep up on what's going on via the LWI, and it seems that the finances have been dominating the news, which isn't surprising. I've thought about that and I have a couple of suggestions: 1. allow seasonal rentals through a LWW rental office only. owners would pay a fee to have there properties rented out as vacation properties and LWW would manage these properties via a rental desk. 2. vacation renters would have access to golf course at substantially higher rates (most people on vacaton pay in excess of $100 for a round of golf with cart in resort areas) 3. allow tennis and pool use for a fee (or include in the cost of rental) 4. many people who come to LWW on vacation will fall in love with it just like the rest of us, so have a real estate sales information desk with either a business arrangement with a realtor for a referral fee for buyers or allow local realtor to lease a desk in the association office (rotating basis?) to get referral business directly. this could potentially be a substantial source of revenue for the association 5. ecology and our enviornment are a hot topic right now, as a community we need to be forward thinking in how we approach our stewardship of the land we own and manage. we need to come up with a master plan for LWW on how we can create a more "green" enviornment by encouraging or mandating zero phosphate/nitrogen and pesticide use; more permeable paving; fewer lawns and less water use (did anyone read NID article on overburdening the system?) LWW is in a forest, why turn it into another suburb? Encourage or mandate recycling program for all waste (maybe there could be a drop off center for bottles and cans and proceeds would be used for seniors or boyscouts or girlscouts or local schools; include solar and renewable energy sources in any of our master plan facilities. 6. as we expand service at the clubhouse, require that all disposable containers and utensils be recyclable or biodegradeable - they cost a few cents more, but we won't be clogging up the nevada hills with trash. speaking of trash, please remind everyone not to throw out compact flourescent bulbs and batteries - these are toxic and poisonous to our enviornment - you can drop them off (free) at the nevada county transfer station! (the drive to the station is beatiful) Thank you for the wonderful 4th of July events, we enjoy that every year. and thank you to the many volunteers and committee members, you are all appreciated.

183.

Hope the Fencing Program is completed as was originally planned-if it keeps getting delayed then there should be an investigation as to where the alloted funds went. I have faith and trust that the new GM and the Board will do the right thing.

184.

This took me forever. I tried to give you thought out answers ....... some of the questions should have had N/A vs no opinion .... I answered no opinion because I had no knowledge in most instances ie channel 95 .... satellite users have no access to channel 95. If I do not use the pool I am forced to make a choice 1-5 I would rather opt out. overall a pretty thorough survey. If you work it the same way I did with my employees my Continious Quality Improvement I amassed 5 years of data in bar graph form which illustrated to our management the continious positive change. Bar graphs show what's happening visually, Address no more than the first 3 items per category, I used to bribe my employees to turn in surveys to our receptionist (anonamisly ) 1 survey = 1 lottery ticket = 80% return rate you are authorized to check my name, as I am not embarrassed for what I have turned in (maybe I should be ???) Every time we leave LWW we are nosey & look at other places. For location, value, availibilty of what we like, etc ... we have not found a nicer place.

185.

I do not think Lake Wildwood Association take in the consideration of those employees that live here and pay their dues. Your management staff, most of tham! do not live here. Some of the employees have been working here for years, and they are not given the opertunity for advancement. Especially in the club house, the board would rather hire off the street, and a non resident before a member. A member should have first choice, Remember they pay dues.

186.

Both a male and female did this survey together.

187.

A real theatre facility with a large permanent stage, areas for dressing rooms and storage would be a real money maker for LWW due to its use. Besides the 2 to 4 productions that the Lww Theatre Group could put on, it would be available for lectures, jazz performances and outside traveling shows to bring revenue to the Association...not to mention prestige to the community. And, with the price of gas and the economy it would allow LWWers a chance to stay in their community for cultural events. In tandem with that, it would benefit the Association's coffers to establish a plan for 'guests' to enter the gates during such cultural events.

188.

Some of the questions while interesting, show that they were created by people from "another" generation that may not be tuned into the "type" or interest of the future retired people moving into LWW. We don't have the young families moving here like we did in the late 70s and 80s due to the lack of work and the cost of transportation, AND lack of things that would interest them in living here. With the internet, many people can telecommute, but LWW NEEDS to have things that will attract this type of demographic. Just something to think about. I moved here as a bride, and I am a grandparent now. FYI I used to plan the free Christmas parties in the clubhouse to meet Santa, I did the first Easter Egg hunt, and I was involved developing and running the wonderful Tiny Tots Pre-school co-op that we ran out of the marina during the school year! We used to LOVE the weekends at the base ball diamond (that used to be beautiful and used all the time). Under the trees and along the incline along Wildflower rows of folding chairs, blankets and ice chest were common weekends all summer long. It was a great time for socialization and just good local community fun! The board ended those days by the fees they wanted to charge, even though the teams spend hours maintaining the field and donating to the necessities. I know how LWW fits into many stages of life...I have lived them!

189.

So what am I to think about question 103, you only care if we reside in Lake Wildwood. What about 2nd home owners who reside elsewhere, don't we count - we pay as much as everyone else and consume less (we are subsidizing the residents). If this is an indication of the attitude of the management, then we need new management.

190.

Good survey.

191.

The LWAA golf facilities have required an investment from all purchasers of property here, first as additional value in the purchase price of our homes, and second as a continuing investment of Association resources in maintaining and improving the golf facilities. (This takes into account the "self-supporting" income from golf fees.) Non-golfers -- the very large majority of LWW residents -- derive little or no return on our "golf" investment. Golfers, on the other hand, benefit from exceptionally low costs. In most communities such as ours, the golf facilities are separately owned by residents who buy shares and are thus part owners of the course and facilities and are able to sell the shares (most often at a profit) at any time. Until LWW adopts such a system by selling the golf course to resident share holders, the facilities should be made open to residents to use for walking and other enjoyment during a significant part of the week. This would provide non-golfers as least some return on their investment in LWW golf facilities.

192.

The golf course is the greatest influence on property values. The lake is a close second. Take care of both of these assests. A forty year old golf course needs some cash infusion to remain a quality facility. We need to make this a major priority.

193.

OPEN PARKS, OR AT LEAST ONE PARK UP TO THE DOG OWNERS AND GET THE POOL FIXED!!

194.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL IDEA. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK.

195.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ACCESS TO THE PAVILION AND RESTROOMS AT COMMODORE PARK FOR THE DISABLED.

196.

Thank You for all your time and effort regarding the concerns, interests and comments of the community of LWW.

197.

In the area of public safety, we feel that there is a huge SAFETY issue that needs to be address. When walking our pets on the street or shoulder, these areas are not wide enough to allow for safe passage. Not all vehicles observe the posted 25 mph speed limit. In the past, Security has been involved in high speed chases through the streets of LWW. This type of issue puts all residents at risk. It is because of this safety issue that we feel taking our pets to one of the lake-front parks would be better solution to this problem. Being in a controlled area, instead of on the streets, is more beneficial to all of us who walk our pets for exercise. A large number of LWW residents have animals and would appreciate the opportunity to walk and exercise their pets in a park setting for SAFETY. We should not have to wait for a critical situation to happen just to prove our point.

198.

Money should not spent before we have it, let's have the money in hand.

199.

I would like to have more places to be opened if there is a fire or fire danger.

200.

We feel that traffic speed enforcement could be improved on Chaparral Drive between Roadrunner and Bunting Way. Many speeders traveling above 45 MPH. Generally, all facilities are well-maintained, and employees are helpful and receptive to suggestions and comments. Many nearby neighbors seem ambivalent about keeping their pets from barking (some just let them roam on their property) and cleaning up after their animals is lax. Crime prevention and safety are important to us-the reason we moved here. Our security is responsive and helpful. We cannot at this time envision living anywhere else. We are very happy with LWW and services provided here.

201.

Thank you very much for conducting this survey!

202.

I believe many changes can be made to increase the quality of living for non-owner families. I also believe that many changes can be made to improve the quality of the work place.

203.

Overall, LWW does a great job. We love living here. Just to reinforce, the number of young working families here has increased in the past five years, please take that into consideration on recreation, projects, and future planning. Thank you!

204.

The cost of playing golf and tennis is ridiculously low at LWW compared to any comparable golf course or tennis facility n Northern California or, for that matter, in the United States. Although the golf and tennis facilities are very good at LWW should the users of amenities want better facilities that cost should be borne by the users of the amenities. It's time to get a Clubhouse Manager that understands the meaning of being a Manager. One that is willing to get his or her hands dirty and get the job done with price, cost, quality and service. One that understands the mindset of the "clubhouse" customer.

205.

Thank You for making it possible for us to share our thoughts with you .......

206.

Lake Wildwood is getting old and many structures and facilities needs to be updated or replaced. Hopefully our master plan is not too ambitious that many of our present residences will no longer be able to live here, especially our economy is in such bad shape. We are happy with what we have here by just improving the maintenance and some updates.

207.

Through many conversations after golf, a couple suggestions for raising more revenue would be to charge all dock owners a fee for that commodity, like the golfers pay to put their golf cart on the golf course. Since the value of the houses in here are based alot on the golf course and the lake, why can't more money be put into those funds instead of only the golfers paying for upkeep and improvements of the golf course when everyone in here benefits.

208.

Going back to monthly or quarterly dues for the restaurant. A former club we belonged to was having very similar (uneven food quality) problems. We voted on and passed a $35.00 per quarter or $140.00 per year, per household. This equals approximately 2 dinners per household per quarter. It got new people into the dining room and was very successful. There are always exceptions, housebound individuals, etc. These people can be special consideration. I hope you will give this serious consideration.

209.

I am unsatified, and this is why... I don't think its right to not allow Motorcycles in Lake Wildwood at all. This is the only reason why I decided to take this survey in the first place. To let you all know I think Lake Wildwood should change this. I own two motorcycles, and had I known I had to park my $15k Motorcycle at the gate, I wouldn't have bought a home here. Not all motorcycles are loud, and not everyone is a Hell's Angel. I don't care how many security officers are at the gate, they are not always going to be able to pay attention to who is by the motorcycles. Get some covered parking over there for goodness sakes, or pay for a new paint job for those people. This is becoming a large trailor park. My father owns a $25k Honda Goldwing and its quieter then most cars. I just can't see how Lake Wildwood could completely get rid of motorcycles all together, especially if that is your main transportation. Is this what my hard earn money ($1500 a year) pays for, someone telling me I can't even enjoy my life and go for a ride on my motorcycle after work, (unless of course, I put it on a car trailor, and take the risk of someone stealing my car and trailor because I had to park it down the street)? Is this side of Penn Valley communist? I thought it was a free country. I am sure a few individuals ruined it for the rest of us, but I do believe their are ways to make everybody happy. I understand if you would like to regulate the noise from motorcycles, Because some tend to be noisy. Or even have a time restriction on when you can ride them. EX: Not before 9:00 a.m., not after 9:00 p.m. I think that would be fair.

210.

Comment - Since we've moved here, the demographics have seemed to change radically to our dismay. We were really set on enjoying a mature, nature-outdoor oriented community with more peace and quiet than one would find in cities. It took less than 5 years for this change and we're fully considering selling our two houses and moving out of Lake Wildwood to find that dream elsewhere! In brief, security/enforcement is lacking, EMO barely "enforces" and variances are common. Golf seems to be the priority while attention to the Lake sadly plays back seat. Suggestion for possible improvements - 1) Charge more for contractor "cards/ids" for access to LWW. Perhaps limiting their access on weekends?? 2) Expanded fogline for biking and safer walking (or keep watch on speeders!) 3) Perhaps a jogging/walking trail on the periphery of the golf course. 4) No dogs in the lake (ie. off boats or docks) to assist in keeping the health of the lake water. 5) No more LWWA business printed in the Wildwood Independent!! Our business should be private. Thank you for conducting this survey!

211.

LWW would be perfect if it were age restricted.....55 years and older.

212.

Thanks to the folks responsible for this survey and the user friendly format. We believe Wildwood is exceptional in the quality of the board and execution of services. It is our opinion from 20 years of residence the boards have continued to meet changing requirements with proper balance to the size and needs of the membership.

213.

However, as previously noted in this survey, I would like to see better quality and consistency of food, service and clubhouse appearance.

214.

We enjoy the beauty, wildlife and security that surrounds us, and the opportunity to avail ourselves of the many activities , classes and clubs that are here if we choose to. Most of the people we meet, including neighbors, employees and security are very friendly and helpful. Our neighborhoods are all very attractive and impressive to visitors.

215.

Thank you for seeking our input.

216.

The improvements and corresponding timelines should be revisited. With the current economic conditions in the state, country, and locally continuing to decline it is prudent to consider that changes are warranted. Restraint and delay could prove to be the best avenue to follow.

217.

We absolutely love LWW and can hardly wait to retire and move up full time. Praise God for the leadership, pride and love given to our wonderful community. John and Denise Haynes...15588

218.

We need to work on our 'teamwork". I know volunteers are hard to comeby, but some incentives? every ten hours of "v" work gets free round golf/dinner, something. Work on the park <adopt> and you can take your dog there, etc. Less of the "trolling" for those trying to improve their home/land. More "keep your yard nice" is good, but allowing for more fences and/or walls could help improve lifestyles in LWW. case by case basis? if your house isn't on lake or along main road...fence okay....good looking fence....etc. Thanks for all your work. Doing great job, just would like to see some restrictions lessoned. Thanks,

219.

Extremely excited and encouraged with the direction that Lake Wildwood is finally headed. Upgrading and forward thinking is needed to keep this community healthy and alive. This year's and last year's "Boards" in our opinion have been the best in the 16 years we've been here.

220.

Thank you for all the time and effort expened on the suvey.

221.

establishing an account for owners or households that use a debit or keycard would be ideal and promote revenue accross all areas of LWW. paying an account once a month allows an owner more access and freedom to all fucilities that have cost associated to them i.e. pool, golf, tennis, snack shack, boat gas, and club house. Cards and accounts should be secured with a pin code for safety.

222.

The survey was well thoought out and very easy to complete.

223.

I appreciate a chance to comment. Thank you.

224.

Walking trails, or opening the golf course paths after golfing hours for walkers would be great. Sooner or later, a walker will be hit by a vehicle while walking the roadways that do not have sidewalks.

225.

If feasible, we would like to see condos built in the campground area. These condos, of course, would be totally connected to LWW and all its ammenities. They would sell like hotcakes and generate more revenue. LWW is a great place to live. And, since we're not very active in the community relations end of it, we applaud those who are, and thank them and the GM and BOD and staff for their great work.

226.

Please look at my comments under the master plan. I enjoy the rural appearance and outdoor recreational opportunities provided by LWWA. I am not in favor of making the man made elements look more modern or suburban. I fear modernizing will add more costs and change the character of the community. I also appreciate all the volunteer work done by our members to maintain our quality of life here. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to provide our input about LWW.

227.

Why did we have to list our gender at the beginning if you want it to reflect the household? Who cares who sat down and filled it out. Some portions of this survey were worthwhile and others were pushing for a pet project

228.

I wouldn't live anywhere else!

229.

This is a great idea!!!!!

230.

I think you need to have a Q&A section on pets. We have only lived here for two months and we don't think Lake Wildwood is pet friendly.

231.

Thank you for listening.

232.

When you take a vote, listen to your members and make decisions based on what we want, not what the minority or board wants.

233.

I love living in LWW! Thank you for considering the opinions of the members for planning and direction. I first moved here 20 years ago and have always felt that the needs of the "retired" association members were considered more than the needs of the young families. As the demographics of LWW have changed and evened out more in the past years, I am glad that the Board and GM are trying to address the needs of everyone.

234.

How about adding some decent shoulders to the roads to accomodate those (annoying, oblivious) golf-cart drivers, as well as bicyclists? Why can we tolerate bikes and not skateboards? And, isn't the "no-motorcycle" rule a little antiquated? Even LOP allows them now, I believe.

235.

LWW needs to work on being more environmentally friendly. Composting, we should be allowed to have some kind of clothesline, vegetarian options at the restaurant.

236.

Are there provisions in the rules governing Lake Wildwood that would apply to the condition of houses and the way they are kept? There are dogs and cats in my neighborhood that are loose regularly. I enjoyed the deer and turkeys as they would pass through. Not any more - I have seen very few since the arrival of the dogs and cats that roam free much of the time. I would like the rules applying to pets enforced more rigorously and regularly. I don't wish to alienate my neighbors, but I would like the rules followed. I am very pleased to be Lake Wildwood resident.

237.

we would like to see a public education program and guidelines put in place regarding the sharing of the roads between vehicles and golf carts. this community was not designed for golf carts using the roads along with vehicles. there doesn't seem to be a good common sense atmosphere of how to accommodate both types of vehicles in the one space. one regulation that i would never want to see disssolved is the non-allowance of motocycles beyond the entrance gates. and a final question: is there any regulation regarding cars parking every which way in the culdesacs? i have seen them in the middle of the road and at every angle and in every direction on a regular basis.

238.

We enjoy living here in a beautiful community with many activities and good friends.

239.

Survey was pretty long, but amazing that "Lake Wildwood" is getting modern at last. Some of the pages ("relative importance", near the end) didn't allow "No opinion", or "No" answers Wish the survey had a way to review / save / print input answers, as one works on it. GREAT JOB!

240.

The survey is a great idea! Future surveys should consider a different mix of answers for one household. For example, one person works and the other is retired. Also, picking male or female for responding when both are responding. We appluad the Board and the Committees for keepng our community updated. The community should also begin considering alternative energy sources and energy conservation, this is the future! How about solar panels for our Association facilities and additional panels for residences to buy shares. Our community should make more efforts to be a part of the larger western Nevada County Community, we are not an island.

241.

We understand the average age of residents in LWW is older than Nevada County (which is already older than the rest of the counties in CA). However, as a young family who has owned a house here for the last 4 years, we would like to see more communication and activities with the younger families in mind. Recruiting younger (30-50) working adults to serve on committees would definitely help. Overall, we love where we live and the quality of life this area brings to our family. (I just wish I could bring my dog to the park/lake with us - she's part of our family too!)

242.

Our child is not golfing yet but will soon. So maybe we'll have more input for the golf course. I wish dogs can have access to our parks or at least be allowed for the owner to walk with their dogs. The street sometimes can be dangerous - we like running the dogs on the lawn. The Geese poop all over them anyway. If we're worried about the feces. I believe everyone in LWW are responsible dog owners and will pick up after themselves. If access to dogs in our parks is allowed, it would be nice to have plastic bag holders just in case we forget to bring poop bags. Dogs can be leashed at all times but at least they can be with their owners if for example we're playing volleyball or picknicking in the park. It may be a good idea to not let dogs in the park on special events (e.g. fourth of july - the fireworks might spook them). Or if someone is having their wedding then dogs could should not be allowed because of the special event. Also, calling in guests at the gate. What if we have a weekly group of volleyball players? Rather than having to call all their last names weekly - can we be allowed to have a "group name" so they can just say "Tuesday volleyball group" to get in or something like that. Given that their names are already registered on file related to the group's name. We are willing to have the group name under one LWW ID no.

243.

This is a great place to live. With the exception of our discontent regarding the level of consistent, equal care to all of the parks, we are proud to live in LWW.

244.

A community service I would like to see is emergency training and CPR certification

245.

The pride of ownership is apparent from the committment of the various volunteers that devote their time and talent to keep LWW great! Thanks to all the volunteers and employees of LWW.

246.

We believe that it is nice to use other people's money to improve our own selfish needs. On the other hand it is not nice to force the costs of any improvements on individuals or families who cannot afford to pay for the improvements that benefit the selfish entities. We are better served to pay as-you-go on the amenities that are dear to us. Those who want to have elaborately improved amenities should be the ones who pay the costs.

247.

I was required to rate improvements to the Pool area and I have never seen it. I was asked to rank different types of restaurants without indicating if I wanted any of them here. I am asked to rate the RELATIVE importance of projects, but I may disagree with all of them. I can not skip a question or say no opinion. Making decisions on the results of this survey would be stupid. I am very annoyed that I wasted my time with this survey.

248.

I would like to emphasize my earlier comment regarding maintenance of the golf course. The policy to let the perimeter of the course to turn brown during the spring and summer months is an eye sore and detracts from the overall beauty of our community.

249.

We need improved speed enforcement. Traffic on Wildflower Dr. near the No. Gate is out of control. If security can put a gate up to stop traffic in the middle of the night it can do something to slow it down here during the day.

250.

There was no question regarding the lake. For example how to improve the health and clarity, etc. So on that topic I would like to suggest the following. We need more solar bees. The areas of the lake which have them do seem clearer. We should consider doing a waterfall feature near the marina and perhaps at other parks and water inlets as a way to better destratify and circulate the water. They can be very attractive and functional at the same time. My other concern is excessive lighting. One of the LWW assets we overlook is our dark night skies. Coming from the city I thoroughly enjoy being able to see the Milky Way. I am very happy we do not have street lights. I have noticed more and more homes are leaving their porch lights (some have 3 or 4) on all night and lake front homes with rows of lights near the water. Many seem to be new residents to LWW but not all. I don't know if there is a rule about porch lights but I think there should be. I hope we don't overlook the need to minimize new lighting and incorporate the kind that shine downward but the actual light source is not visible when seen at the side.

251.

Doing a great job. We do need improvements because of the age of LWW. I think that if we take one step at a time and do 1 or 2 projects every year, It would greatly improve LWW.

252.

Drop the elitist attitude and end discrimination against motorcycles. Adult homeowners don't need a Big Brother to control their lives, thank you. There are numerous points that I don't have time to make. Reviewing the history & final outcome of the last (unnecessary) vote about such, the LWW Motorcycle Club eloquently made the case beyond what should have been necessary for allowing access. They bent over backwards trying to appease the selfish majority. To add another point to the Motorcycle Club's reasons why this rule should change and change now is the reality of "electric" scooters and the like. This in and of itself should nullify any possible excuses for those opposed to this cheap, environmentally friendly mode of transportation. With today's economic situation, rising gas prices, and deteriorating environment an electric scooter, even for just short local trips would make a huge difference in a family's budget. For these reasons alone this rule should be changed without a vote. But if the LWW Board still feels it necessary for a vote they are essentially saying the above concerns are unimportant to them and the community. Furthermore if another vote should be implemented and the majority again gives it a thumbs down it would mean they share the same selfish views as the Board.

253.

I think the most impactful infrastructure project for LWW would be to move the power and telephone lines underground. The current above-ground poles and wires are a real eyesore. While expensive, it would have a positive impact on home values and desirability of LWW, overall.

254.

Thank you for the detailed survey. It gave us a chance to contribute our individual needs and wants profile and we appreciate that. Keep up the good job.

255.

WE LIVE IN A VERY SPECIAL PLACE HERE. THE LAKE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US AND ONE OF THE REASONS WE MOVED HERE. WE ENJOY THE CLUBHOUSE FOR DINING...GREAT TO HAVE IT AT OUR BACK DOOR. WE LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUING IMPROVEMENTS. ONE THING THAT CONCERNS US IS ALL THE RENTALS DEVELOPING IN THIS COMMUNITY WHICH BRINGS ON OTHER PROBLEMS. WE LOOK FORWARD TO GIANT STEPS IN MAKING THIS AN EVEN BETTER PLACE TO LIVE!!

256.

please do consider seniors on fixed incomes who settled here many years ago hoping to live the rest of their lives here. they might get priced out of here. where can they go??? Thank you for listening.

257.

Our mos important consideration is trying to keep our assessment fees as low as possible. While some of the suggestions would be nice, they would not be worth it if it means raising our assissment fees. We have heard many people express their concerns about these fees, and many have moved away. We would appreciate your giving attention to the fact that many living here are retired, many have lived here 20 or more years, and cannot continue to affort large increases. We are very happy living here and don't see any cause for major improvements. Thank you

258.

1. I resent not having an opportunity to print my responses before I send them to you. There were 103 questions. I am not sure I will remember all my responses/priorities 3-6 months from now when the survey results have been tallied. 2. I think it was poor planning on the Association's part to have the final two days of the survey to be scheduled over a weekend when no one at the office would be available for questions/issues/problems. You could as easily have had the final date be a Wednesday or a Friday.

259.

We do love living in LWW, but it feels a little too restricted at times. Particularly having a young family; there are so many don'ts for the kids that it seems they can't be kids. And for rules and restrictions around the home they seem to be a bit excessive. I believe we could still have a safe and warm place to live with less prescribed boundaries. Let's make LWW an oasis for all, but evaluate the priorities to be conducive to welcoming homeowners and guests of all varieties.

260.

Thank you to those who put this survey together!!

261.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN USEFULL TO PROVIDE A WAY TO PRINT OUT THE FINAL COMPLETED FORM FOR LATER REFERENCE AND FOLLOW UP. WHERE NO OPINION OPTIONS ARE PROVIDED FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT RESIDE HERE IT WOULD BE GOOD TO HAVE A NO OPINION OPTION FOR OVERALL SATISFACTION. OTHERWISE IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND SEEMED TO BE PRETTY COMPEHENSIVE.

262.

I would love to see a larger stage and dressing rooms for performances in the Cedar room.

263.

Thank you for setting up this web-survey which was very convenient and easy to use. Some of the questions were harder to answer in that the provided answer options were even in number. For a more accurate feed-back, I suggest an uneven number of answer options. Thank you for compiling all the answers - a big task.

264.

We received our keys to our home the end of March...We love living here. Have enjoyed the summer here and can't wait to spend our first fall and winter here. There are alot of friendly, kind neighbors. Love seeing all the smiles and waves that are received while driving to and from our residence. Looking forward to using more of the parks and activities as we settle into living in such a relaxing beautiful area.... Keep up the good work. Have called the security gate several times and always have had my questions answered or immediate response to concerns. Makes very happy to have chosen to live our retirement years in such a beautiful area. Linda Keels and Dennis Keels p.s. Enjoy the deer and turkeys and will not ever complain should the little critters eat what ever we should decide to plant.

265.

We moved here because of the golf course. Keep and the facilities in the rustic setting. We don't want a "country club" facility. If they want a country club, they can join Alta Sierra. We feel guest passes should be eliminated. If you don't live here, you should have to be called in. Businesses should not have access unless called in and should obey speed laws. We know several folks that lived here at one time and still have access. Just because you used to live here or have friends that do, why should you still have a pass? Folks should be checked in at gate. If they don't live here, pass should be revoked. Renters should not have access to the course and lake and the 1% interest to renters should not be allowed from the property owners so that they could use the facilities.

266.

Boaters do not follow Lake rules. Violations are increasing Need more security patrol on the lake. Increase fines for violators

267.

We appreciate "Vacation Check" service.

268.

Better comfortable chairs in the Cedar Room. One of the important things we have needed for years - are better comfortable chairs in the Cedar Room. Perhaps more people would attend the Board Meetings.

269.

Let's [ut golf course greens on RR and complete within 7 years. Let's complete all forward tees and other tee work ASAp, 2 years.

270.

We have a captive audience here at L.W.W. The biggest complaint I have and also from others I know is the food service and bar. This whole thing should be turned around to where people here would support the restaurant and bar. The present bar manager fired the best bartender we had and since he has been manager the bar has not made a profit. So they up the prices of drinks, thinking that will solve the problem, but now fewer people are buying drinks. I think the restaurant and bar should be turned over to some outside agency, maybe they could correct those problems. Because of the amount of money lost (over $200,000) a year, Board of Directors should look into obtaining outside help, like Cirino's to take over dining room and bar. Even give them free rent, anything to make up losing that much money.

Fireworks are a waste of money. Twenty thusand too expensive!!

Easy access to clubhouse and comfortable chairs in Cedar Room of highest priority.

273.

All activities involving financial commitments should require a 2/3 majority vote of the total membership. What can be outsourced (such as the EMO) should be outsourced.

274.

1. Better service a. lounge b. Pine Room 2. Widen roads a. walkers b. bicycles c. golf carts 3. Maintain existing clubhouse - no new buildings 4. Continue and improve fire codes 5. Enforce clean up of trashy homes and lots 6. Motorcycles need parking

very glad the new rec room is being done, and then the club house (which should have been done years ago) we hope small groups will be able to use some of the small rooms for cards/small parties etc. and bring our own food i live on the dry area of the 18th fairway. the neighbors and i have been trying to get something done about the dust. it's been looked into, but of course, nothing done. we have even offered to help

our main reason for moving to lake wildwood was for security. we rate all of question 81 as a first priority, except for parking enforcement. we think it is important to have former law enforcement people on security patrol and responses. we want them to continue carrying firearms

Even though I am probably one of the elder residents here, I am not disabeled. However many friends much younger than I are concerned about being able to get into newly built facilities because of their disabilities - walking mainly. It isn't just age!

We need elevators! Many people in wheelchairs. BOD/commitees are not listening. Hearing is not always listening. Sure would like to see a different mix on BOD. Less contractors, maybe another female. More corporate experience, forward thinking. TOO MUCH TAKEN PERSONAL! Most people won't speak up unless you allow more "no names".

The association is giving members and visitors th9e perception that we are not doing what we can to save energy by the activation of the green exit signal lights during non-use hours. Also this practice exposes the association to at least some liability should a motorist misinterpret the green light as a signal to proceed (without stopping) onto Pleasant Valley Road. The liability and possible scenario for traffic accident particularly exists at the north gate (traffic moving fast on Pleasant Valley Road).

The restaurant has been working on improving food service and quality of food. Some have an attitude and we'd like to see more younger, happy servers. Janet is working very hard to make things fair about banquets for members. The banquet plates should be larger and lighter colored to enhance the appearance of food. There doesn't seem to be a place in the kitchen for another warming oven. I'd like to see this area addressed so the banquet facilities compare to other Clubs. Presentation of food adds to the satisfaction of all !!!

We all are very fortunate to live here!

282.

for all that is offered here, it is usually very good. I do not take full advantage of this, my fault! Association dues are getting out of control. Retired people do not get pay raises.

283.

please close the restaurant. it is way too costly at $150 to 300 thousand a year. rent it out to a caterer. open the pool year around to provide a golden oppertunity for a healthy life

284.

Thank you for putting out this survey. If the board follows up on the needed improvements as determined from these surveys then we will have achieved the greatest good for the greatest number. Who can argue about that. Keep up the good work.

leave it alone it is a great place but you are trying to price people out you are trying to do so many things that are not necessary
