POSTING OF SCORES

LAKE WILDWOOD MEN”S CLUB REQUESTS YOUR COOPERATION AND ASSISTANCE

IN ENFORCING THE FOLLOWING RULES

 

1.  The NCGA requires all members post all acceptable scores (paragraph 2) for each round played

2.  NCGA requirements are as follows:  If 13 or more holes are played, the player shall post an 18 hole score.  If 7 to 12 holes are played, the player shall post a 9 hole score

 

3.  If a member fails to post a score in a timely manner the following penalities may be assessed by the Handicap Committee:

          First Offense – Notification will be made by the committee advising of the failure to post.

          Second Offense – A warning will be issued advising the member of the following penalties:

          Third Offense – The member will be advised that a score equal to his lowest score was posted by the committee.

          Fourth Offense – The committee will modify the member’s handicap index equal to the average of the lowest 5 scores posted.

          Fifth Offense – The committee will withdraw the member’s USGA/NCGA Handicap Index.

4.  A member has the right to appeal by submitting the appeal in writing to the Handicap Committee.

 

5.  The Men’s Club requests a scorecard be turned in every time a round is started.

6.  If you do not complete the round, simply make a note on the scorecard and turn it in as normal.
