BINOCULAR MOUNT FOR REALLY RELAXED STARGAZING.
THE COUCH - POTATO TELESCOPE CONSISTS OF FOUR ADJUSTABLE-LENGTH STRUTS MOUNTED ON TOP OF A ROTATING BASE. THE FOUR ARE ATTACHED AT THE TOP TO A TILTABLE CROSSBAR CONTAINING THE BINOCULAR MOUNT. THE ROTATING BASE ALLOWS POINTING TO ANY AZIMUTH. THE CROSSBAR ALLOWS TILTING BINOCULARS TO ANY ALTITUDE FROM HORIZON TO ZENITH. THE ADJUSTABLE LENGTH STRUTS ALLOW THE CROSSBAR TO BE ADJUSTED TO A RANGE OF HEIGHTS TO ACCOMMODATE PEOPLE OF ALL SIZES FROM TEN-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN TO ADULT. THE BEACH CHAIR SITS ON TOP OF THE MOUNT AND IS REMOVED AND FOLDED UP WHEN NOT IN USE. THE BINOCULAR MOUNT FRAMEWORK FOLDS DOWN ONTO THE BASE WHEN NOT IN USE PROVIDING A UNIT ABOUT 30" SQUARE BY ABOUT 4" THICK WHEN STORED. cut to length.
4..........STRUT ASSEMBLY KIT - $160.00 + $15.00 S&H ….... Contains the Assembly Manual and all parts described in (3) above. The four struts and the crossbar assembly are completed except for gluing in the bottom crosspiece and bolting in the top crossbar.
