STOVES
Primus Himalaya Varifuel:

The liquid fuel stove can burn white gas, kerosene, diesel, and similar petroleum fuels. It will function reliably in extreme conditions during all four seasons and is a good all round backpacking/mountaineering stove for the sort of temperatures and altitudes found on most north american trips.

The sturdy metal pump has a "flip-over" turn-off feature, which runs air through the fuel line during shut down, minimising carbon build-up. The plate burner improves operation at altitude. Serrated pot supports provide for slip-free operation even on surfaces tilted to 20 degrees. The 10, 000 BTU output will boil a litre of water in about three minutes in temperate conditions.
MSR Whisperlite Shaker Jet:
This popular stove features a self-cleaning shaker jet to reduce soot build-up and stove maintenance.

-Clean the jet with an easy shake...a weighted pin inside the jet pushes away any debris or soot to reduce maintenance.

-Runs on white gas fule for maximum heat output and excellent cold-weather use; requires priming.

-Legs fold out to provide a stable base and fold down to store compactly.

-Includes windscreen and heat reflector for increased operating performance.

-Totally field maintainable... every stove part is designed to be taken apart and be easily replaced in the field, including the fuel pump.

-Use only MSR fuel bottle...sold seperately in three sizes.
MSR Dragonfly:
Multi-fuel backpacking stove easily adjusts from a slow simmer to a rolling boil, in any temperature or altitude, thanks to precise flame control.

-Legs spring open for ease of use and fold compactly for storage... fits inside an MSR cook set, sold seperately.

-Field Maintainable stove stays clog-free with a self-cleaning jet.

-Comes with windscreen, heat reflector, fuel pump and stuff sack.

-Burns almost any fuel, including white gas, kerosene, diesel, automotice gas, aviation gas, stoddard solvent and naphta.
MSR XGK:
The stove of choice for expeditions throughout the world, the XGK burns any fuel from white gas to jet fuel, making it a great choice for travel, too!

-Self-cleaning shaker jet has a built-in needle that pushes out built-up soot and debris with a simple shake of the stove.

-Bell-shaped burner cup makes the stove extrmemely effective in cold temperatures and high altitudes.

-Multi-fuel stove bunrs white gas, low-grade kerosene, autofuel, stoddard solvent, aviation gas, diesel #1 and naphta.

-Fiberfax priming pad makes priming and lighting fuels quicker and easier.

-Cross-over pan wires lock snugly in place for stability, and remove easily for compact storage.

-Easily field maintainable with included cleaning tools.

-Large diameter, rigid fuel line allows poor quality fuels to burn well and requires less maintenance than smaller diameter fuel lines (but burns more fuel in the process).

-Comes with aluminum windscreen, heat reflector, customized stuff sack and fuel pump.
MSR Alpine Cookset:
This is the clubs most preffered cookset ever. It is made of strong yet light stainless stell. It has a 2 litre pot, a 1.5 liter pot, and a frypan/lid, and a convertable pot holder. Both Primus and MSR stoves fit inside this potset, and they are at a very good price tag. Highly recommened. (this stove has survived consecutave burns and flare ups from stove and one incident when peter was throwing snow in the stove and the snow was instantanously evaporating, but the pot is still alive today. It also has a very convenient size to cook for 2-3 person groups, which usualy is the size of a tent groop.
