FRIDAY MARCH 23 vs VICTORIA DREAM TEAM (LOSS 0-8)
With only 8 players to start the game, the team gave up all 8 runs in the opening inning as a couple last minute line up switches put some players in unfamiliar spots. Opening night jitters caused a few errors in that disastrous 1st inning. After that the boys played very well, keeping up with the older Dream Team.
SATURDAY MARCH 23 vs VICTORIA DREAM TEAM (LOSS 8-9)
Deja Vu...1st inning errors and jitters provided 5 runs for the oposition to start the game. After that, we played very well, getting more confident as the game went on.
Shane Ross lead the way with a 2 run home run in the 2nd inning, he ended up scored twice during the game. McFadden hit a 3 run homer in the 4th. Parkinson hit safely in both games.
SUNDAY MARCH 24 vs SOUTH DELTA (WIN 10-3)
Stong pitching, especially by Badali in the first 2 innings as he struck out 5 of the 6 batter's he faced. Garisto, Brinson & Badali each scored twice. Garisto's on base percentage for games 2 & 3 is 1.000!
