Rules

This is a roleplay room where we try to reenact the lives of people who lived in the city of Rome, during the time it was ruled by the Senate. Please remember that this is a roleplay room and not a lifestyle room, and most important of all - this room was built for fun.

Rome is ruled by a Council, that sets up the guidelines and rules for the room and its M/members. If you have something that you wish to bring up, please contact one of the Members of the Council.

- You are to be in the room whenever you can be - and you are expected to roleply. If you have characters in other realms, it is your responsibility to make an effort to be in our room as much as possible. You took the tags of Rome, and in doing this you made a commitment to be in Rome as much as r/t allows. You will be expected to build upon your character and do your job.

- Study the website - it is your responsibility to know what is there. Be sure to visit often to refresh your knowledge, and to have a good view of refreshened rules. You have to study all pages present on the website and be familiar with all the rules to properly interact in our room.

- Gender is not an issue, both males and females can be appointed to a high position within the room. Both males and females may seek a warrior status and will be tested and trained before recognized as such. All members petitioning to be a warrior, male or female, must begin at training level and work their way up the ranks.

- You must have respect for the O/others in the room. This is a place for fun and roleplay - no quarrelling, bickering or fighting. Problems are to be taken into PM. Show respect for the other players in the room.

- All who enter the room are welcome and will be shown hospitality by ALL. Greet them with respect and kindness, and offer them to look at our webpages and that you are available to answer their question if they have any.

- All Members are expected to pick a caste/career and learn it to a degree where they can participate in the roleplaying of the room. Remember, M/members will be expected to practice their weapons skill, their trade and live a typical Roman life while in the city.

- Stay in character as much as possible in the room. We do allow OOC comments, but please, use the ((...)) brackets to signify this.

- Read the message board often.

- The Leaders' word is final and law. Any rule may be changed, altered or revised at the Leaders' discretion. Any issue may be brought up for discussion.
