| Q: I noticed that you sell most of your puppies with AKC Limited Registration... What does that consist of? A: AKC Limited Registration basically means that the babies are just "Pet-only." It's an agreement between you and us that you will not have puppies with your new little one. We do that because we want to see our babies going into loving pet homes where they will be spoiled members of the family. That's why we give a price break to those not wanting to have puppies. We do occationally sell our babies with Full Registration as long as we are sure that they are going to homes where they will be throughly spoiled! Q: Do the puppies come house-trained? A: We don't really start house-breaking them too much before they go to their new homes... They are usually still pretty young when they go to their new homes. And besides... we want to leave the fun stuff for you! :) Q: Are they all up-to-date on their shots? A: They will have had both their shots and worming at 5 weeks and every 2 weeks afterwards until they go to arrive at their new homes. We will send a sheet that says what shots and worming they have had and when they got them. Then you can just take that sheet with you to your vet and he will decide what your puppy needs yet. Q: What do you have for health guarantees? A: ?We have a 10-day health guarantee for anything like a cold, eye infection, etc... And a 5-year genetic guarantee for hip dysplasia, heart murmmer, etc... Before we started writing our guarantee, we looked around at other guarantees and found that most breeders had a 6-month or 1 year guarantee (If they had one at all!) or at most 2 years, but we just felt like that wasn't long enough for us... If we have a problem in our lines, we want to know about it, even if is is several years down the road! Wherever you decide to get your puppy, make sure that they have a good guarantee! Q: Are you able to microchip my puppy before I receive him/her? A: Yes! Check out our "Microchipping Page" to see more information on microchipping your puppy! Q: How does the transportation process work? A: If needed, we can ship via airplane at a cost of $200. That would include everything, such as the kennel, plane ticket, health certificate, etc... Some new puppy owners are nervous about getting their puppy shipped to them, but we have been doing it for 5 years or so and have never had a problem at all. Of course we are very particular about the flights, etc... At first we were very nervous about shipping a baby somewhere, but the airlines reall do take good care of them. We fill the kennels with shredded paper beforehand and what the puppies seem to do is crawl into the back and burrow into the paper and sleep the whole way there! Which works great for the puppy, but we have had lots of people say that when they arrive, they've slept the whole way, so they want to play all night! :) If you really didn't want to ship your baby though, another option is for you to fly here to Omaha Epply Airport. Often people will fly here and we will meet them at the airport... Then when they fly back, they can take the puppy as a carry-on. So that's just another option! Of course if you are close enough, you can drive here as well! :) Q: What if I've decided that I want to get a puppy from you? A: Just call us at (402) 349-3775 or drop us an email at [email protected] to see if we have a perfect match for you and your family. We can send you pictures via email as well. Q: Where are you located anyway? A: We live in northeast Nebraska between Omaha & Sioux City. Q: What if I have other questions? A: Feel free to call us at (402) 349-3775 or email us at [email protected]! We love to talk puppies and answer any questions that you might have! |
