Seeing one of Las Vegas' famous shows is a high
point of many vacations.
Here are reviews of my favorite ongoing shows.
If you're interested in fights or special events, you will be able to find
listings online.
Cirque Du Soleil's O - Bellagio
Cirque Du Soleil is nothing like the Circus of your childhood - the surreal
performances of dancing, acrobatics, swimming, and, of course clowns will have
you on the edge of your seat. If you've seen the travelling Curque Du
Soleil you won't be disappointed by O - the cast has taken advantage of the fact
that they don't have to dismantle everything to travel, making the sets and
staging truly amazing
Sunday Gospel Brunch - Mandalay Bay
Sunday Gospel Brunch at the Mandalay Bay hotel is the type of event you feel
like a participant in. The singers are truly talented and they make the
audience feel like part of the show - even inviting people with Birthdays or
special events up on stage. A southern brunch buffet (yummy) is included.
Mamma Mia
I booked tickets
for this musical on a whim because it seemed like a fun show for my entire
family, and I had heard recommendations from friends who said they were
practically dancing in the aisles with the music. The show had us all laughing
hysterically and while it was best for those of us who remembered Abba from our
childhoods, everyone had a great time.
Blue Man Group
If you like percussion and you like the unexpected, this show is for you.
The show blends visuals, sounds, and sometimes even touch and smell to
create a one of a kind experience that you will never forget.
