Las Vegas, probably more than any city in the world is a place where you can live out your dreams - choosing a hotel room that reminds you of anywhere in the world or your wildest ideas of luxury.  Here are reviews of my favorite hotels in Las Vegas.

Getting a Discount: Tips and Tricks

Mandalay Bay Hotel, Las Vegas
My favorite overall hotel for both atmosphere and incredible restaurants.  We also love the artificial beach (complete with waves!).  The hotel's Shark Reef is fascinating for both kids and adults.

Four Seasons Hotel at Mandalay Bay
A hidden oasis in busy Las Vegas!  Tucked away in the Mandalay Bay hotel, Four Seasons guests have easy access to the tables and restaurants of Mandalay Bay but return to plush, elegant rooms that feel secluded and peaceful.

Wynn Las Vegas
Steve Wynn reportedly spent an average of approximately $1million per room in this enormous and swanky hotel!  Book a room on the 28th floor, the first stop for express elevators.  Rooms are comfortable, well proportioned, and high tech.

Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas
Probably one of the most famous Las Vegas Luxury Hotels - the Bellagio environment and rooms are beautiful and the Buffet and restaurants are among the best in the city.  The hotel also has a high end shopping area with stores like Prada, Tiffany and Hermes.

Venetian Hotel Las Vegas
Even if you don't stay at the Venetian Hotel, a stroll through the famous Canal Shopping area - with it's Gondolas and realistic scenery should be on almost every itinerary.  The hotel itself is luxurious and the Canyon Ranch Spa - secluded inside the hotel, is one of the best in the city

Paris Hotel Las Vegas
If you've dreamed of visiting Paris, this hotel.  Rooms are simple and elegant & don't miss the pastry shop near the entry for breakfast

Bally
A hidden bargain amongst the newer luxury hotels, Bally was recently renovated.  Rooms are tastefully modern and have cozy reading chairs.  The hotel has easy access to its own (lower priced) tables and restaurants as well as to the glamour of the connected Paris hotel and Bellagio and Ceasers Palace across the street
