| LVBW King of the Ring LIVE from the NEW LVBW Arena LVBW King of the Ring started off with the playing of the theme, Immortal by Adema Opening Promo- Boomer Boomer came to the ring and welcomed everyone to LVBW JaKKed, or at least that's what the event was called until WWE dropped their annual King of the Ring event. Boomer said that LVBW, being quick to pick up on things, has now undertaken the King of the Ring concept, and today at King of the Ring, since there was a lot of dispute over who the LVBW Champion should be, there would be a tournament to decide the number one contender. The winner at the end of this tournament would face off against Boomer in the main event. Boomer assured everyone that, no matter who he had to face, he would still be the LVBW Champion by the end of the show. The Shark Attack was shown backstage, complaining amongst themselves about how Boomer had booked Simon and War against eachother in the tournament. Simon said that War was The Shark Attack's best shot at getting the title back, and, after saying a couple of suspicious things, said that he knew he would have a tough match against War and he would give it his all. Alex Prime and Simon laughed at this. Quarterfinals: LVBW King of the Ring 1) Simon vs. 8) War Quick match in which War just touched Simon and Simon fell to the mat. War gets the win. Winner- War Quarterfinals: LVBW King of the Ring 4) Deadman vs. 5) Admiral Jiggles The Admiral actually had the advantage through most of this matchup, but a few mistakes cost him this one. Admiral Jiggles most notable mistakes were missing his new move, The Flying Anchor, and The Admiral's 180 Sploosh, which resulted in Deadman getting the pin. Winner- Deadman Quarterfinals: LVBW King of the Ring 3) "The American Idol" Alex Prime vs. 6) Renegade The veteran Alex Prime was certainly given a run for his money against Renegade in what was an exciting match without a doubt between these two men. Renegade used his street brawling style to set up Prime for The Insanity Drop. After hitting it, instead of going for the pin, Renegade picked up a steel chair and nailed Alex Prime with it, resulting in a disqualification. Winner (by DQ)- "The American Idol" Alex Prime Renegade said that he got disqualified to prove a point, and that was to prove that he is a force to be reckoned with. Renegade said he didn't care about winning the LVBW Championship, because he wanted to work his way up, starting with Deadman's Hardcore Championship. Right as he was calling Deadman out, Deadman got into the ring and attacked Renegade with a baseball bat. LVBW Hardcore Championship Renegade vs. Deadman (c) It was a Hardcore Title Match, meaning anything could happen... but I'm sure Renegade wasn't counting on Wonder to referee the match. Deadman, with the help of Wonder, quickly defeated Renegade to retain the title. Winner and still LVBW Hardcore Champion- Deadman After the match, Wonder and Deadman went at it in a brawl, with Wonder coming out on top of the exchange. After getting up, both Deadman and the referee realized Renegade was seriously hurt and helped him out of the ring. Quarterfinals: LVBW King of the Ring 2) Wonder vs. 7) Elmer Fudge Not much on the technical side in this one... it was mainly Elmer grabbing and slapping at Wonder until going for Elmer's Groove. When he did that, Wonder held up a metal pan, reflecting Elmer's image for Elmer to see. Elmer got knocked out by his own groove and Wonder got the pin. Winner- Wonder Semifinals: LVBW King of the Ring 8) War vs. 4) Deadman War and Deadman had a brawl in this one, but Deadman could never seem to maintain the advantage against War. War defeated Deadman after a good effort by Deadman that just wasn't enough to defeat the monster. Winner- War Continued on Page 2 |
