Lehigh Valley Velodrome
Air Products Developmental Cycling Program
The Air Products Developmental Cycling Program began in 1977 and Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. has been the sole sponsor of this program.

The Air Products Program is a free, introductory track cycling program for anyone five years of age or older. Participants are instructed in the basics of track riding and racing by experienced coaches and international racers.  Most classes meet three times a week for three weeks throughout the summer months.

Classes are organized for the following ages and groups:

PeeWee Pedalers (5-8 years of age)

Youth Level (9-12 years of age)

Junior Level (13-18 years of age)

Adult Level One (19 and over)

Adult Level Two - Advanced (19 and over) Must have completed  the Level One program or possess a track racing license.

Track bicycles and helmets are provided for all groups except the PeeWee Pedalers, who must provide their own bicycles and helmets due to size limitations.  (No training wheels)

No racing experience is necessary.  All that is required is the ability to ride a bike and the desire to learn and experience track cycling.

The program is 'Free of Charge'. There is absolutely no cost to any participant.
