| As a local professional musician puts it, "When Vince Green gets up to speak, I know I'm in for a treat. He specializes in the human condition, from the absurd to the sublime, employing a talent for detail and expression that make his performances a delight."
Vince writes and tells stories that touch your heart, make you think, make you cry, tickle you with a feather and make you smile - inside and out! He focuses on writing personal and fictional stories. Vince incorporates spiritual themes into his telling because, as he says, "Deep within each of us, we know our spirituality trumps our humanity." Most of the stories he writes are suitable for younger and older adults - yet in his day job for Quiver Farm Projects he is transformed into Farmer Green, who visits children in NY, NJ, PA, DE and MD entertaining them while educating about farm life and the animals that make that life possible. Every week testimonials like this roll in from teachers such as this one from the Private Minue School in Cartaret, NJ: Farmer Green was fantastic with the children. Theyre still talking about him and what he taught them. Vince performs with a unique, individual style. As one audience member remarked, "I could sum up Vince Green's speaking style in one word - Wow! Vince is the consummate professional speaker - entertaining, engaging, and educational. His stories enthrall you while his speech crafting leaves you spellbound. Truly one of the best communicators I ever heard!" Another goes on to say, "Vince Green's sparkling stories bring the audience to places they've never been where they meet people (and creatures!) they've never met. Vince does more than simply spin yarns; he creates comforting quilts of imagination and wonder." Vince has been telling since 2002. He is an accomplished and award-winning Toastmaster. In addition to being a member of the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild (LVSG), Vince is a member of the National Storytelling Network. He has told in places like the Whitehall Ramada Inn, the Pearl S. Buck National Historic Site in Perkasie, and Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem. In addition, Vince has performed at Mayfair 2004 in Allentown, the 2004 Lehigh Valley Storytelling Festival in Bethlehem and at the 2005 National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN. He won the 2004 LVSG Liars Contest. As Farmer Green for Quiver Farm Projects of Pennsburg, PA (www.quiverfarm.com) Vince has performed over 800 times for over 21,000 children and adults. He has been featured in daily and weekly newspapers throughout PA and NJ. Vince makes his home in Hereford, PA. He has two sons, 17 and 19. Vince is a Reiki practitioner. He also enjoys writing, reading, photography, diverse music, the outdoors, spiritual learning and anything with an interesting story to tell such as: books, movies and great oral storytelling!
