Things you should consider doing to make sure your application process is okay:

  1. Call AMCAS to check if your transcript(s) is/are onfile.
  2. Call AMCAS to check if your MCAT score(s) has/have been released
  3. If you are applying to non-AMCAS schools, you might want to fill out the ASR, which can be found here, to release your MCAT score(s) to these schools.
  4. Call AMCAS accounting office to make sure that your file is not on-hold because AMCAS can not collect money from you for your applications. You might want to talk to Mike Newman at 202-862-6076
  5. AMCAS Client Service number, which should be memorized: 202.828.0600
  6. When you email AMCAS ([email protected]), use the following subject lines to expedite the processing of your email(s):
      1. Application-Status
      2. Transcript-Status
      3. Error-(section of the application in which the error occurs)
      4. Application-Instruction
      5. Username and Password
  7. Most of all, relax!
