ABADDON 
This is the name of a chief angel of Satan whose domain is the bottomless pit.
In Hebrew, Abaddon signifies "the place of destruction personified."
In the Greek, Abaddon is called "Apollyon."
ANTICHRIST, THE
Before Christ returns to set up His kingdom of peace, Satan will enter a man’s body and present his counterfeit,
the Antichrist, as the Messiah. This internationally deified dictator will inaugurate a world peace program
which holds the world spellbound for 42 months, or three and one-half years.
ARMAGEDDON
This is the closing battle of three and one-half years of skirmish in the Middle East.
BABYLON
God’s Word mentions three Babylons: a city , a church , and a country.
( a system of things)
Don’t confuse the three by intermingling these chapters.
The context of each text identifies who is who.
BEAST, THE 
The rise of the Antichrist, the Beast, is the most significant
political event during the Tribulation period.
He is described by John in Revelation 13. Daniel spoke of him as the "little horn" whose power would
reach its zenith for three and one-half years . He will control the economies of the world.

These are literal, created beings connected with the throne room of heaven

BODIES,
GLORIFIED 
The risen Saviour had a glorified (resurrection) body of flesh and bones, one that could be seen,
touched, and fed. Glorified bodies will have the same supernatural qualities as Christ’s
had (passing through walls, instantaneous travel). The only way to obtain a glorified body is through
resurrection and rapture.
BOOK
OF LIFE 
This is the Book that is opened at the Great White
Throne Judgment in which the names of
all those who responded to God’s call of salvation are written,
guaranteeing them a place in heaven.

BOOK, THE LITTLE
The "little book" that John is commanded to take and eat is either all or a portion of the Word of God
dealing with the judgments. The message John is about to share is bittersweet. Devouring God’s
message of salvation is very sweet. Yet, as it is assimilated and judgments are experienced,
it becomes bitter.
BRIDE
OF CHRIST
The Church (all born-again believers collectively) is represented as a chaste virgin.
According to marriage customs explained in biblical texts, the Church (the Bride),
is now in the betrothal stage, promised to Jesus Christ. As His fiancee, He wants us
to live holy lives. The Church, or Bride, is to be clothed in fine, white linen .

The age we are living in now, every since the resurrection
DAY OF CHRIST
The special day in the life of our Lord when He comes for His Bride is called the Rapture
This term should not be confused with "the Day of the Lord
." Note that the term "day of Christ" in 2 Thessalonians 2:2 should be translated "Day of the Lord."
DAY OF THE LORD
The Day of the Lord begins as the Tribulation period commences. It continues through
the 1,000-year reign of Christ because the destruction of the world by fire afterward is still
called the Day of the Lord Some try to make this the Rapture, causing confusion.
It begins immediately after the Rapture. This is the reason that the
Day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night
DEATH,
SECOND
If you are not born again, then you will suffer the second death.
It is only for those who don't know Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.
DRAGON
Another name for Satan
ELDERS,
TWENTY-FOUR
John foresaw this group of men around the throne of God.
Some think that the 24 elders represent God’s people in both testaments
– 12 tribal patriarchs and 12 apostles – it is unknown who they really are.
FALSE PROPHET
He is the religious leader who ascends to world popularity via his
close alignment with the Antichrist. He is a religious fake, yet he is
the leader of the one-world church described in Revelation 17.
His main role is honoring the Antichrist He will work
unbelievable miracles, lead people into idolatry
(worshipping the Image of the Beast, the Antichrist),
and execute people in the name of religion.
GREAT
WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT 
T
his judgement includes all the wicked of all time, resurrected for this hour .The Lord Jesus Christ sits on a throne and the books (records) are opened.
At the final judgement, it is forever too late to repent.
Judgement for breaking God’s laws must now
be administered according to the individual’s wicked works.

JUDGMENT
SEAT OF CHRIST
The day is coming when every blood-bought believer must stand before a
Holy God for a scrutinizing investigation .
The English term "judgment seat" has a Greek origin, bema seat. The runners’
track in Athens, Greece, contained thousands of seats. However, there was one
seat differing from the rest in that it was elevated. The judge of the
contest, who sat there, had no obstructions to mar his view.
He could see every movement clearly.
This pictures the God of holiness elevated upon His throne
watching the Christian’s race of life. God is keeping records for the day
when we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that
everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done
JUDGEMENTS
| 1. Rev 6:1,2 | The white horse. The Antichrist comes forth. He has a bow, but no arrows are mentioned. A crown is given to him. He goes forth conquering and to conquer. |
| 2. Rev 6:3,4 | The red horse. War. That they should take peace from the earth. He has a great sword. |
| 3. Rev 6:5,6 | The black horse. Famine. A day’s wages for a day’s food. Hurt not the oil and the wine. |

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord. He shall reign. Thy wrath is come. The temple of God opened in heaven. Lightnings, voices, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail. |

LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH
Another name for Jesus Christ, he was a desendant
of Judah, one of the 12 tribes of Israel.
MARK
OF THE BEAST 
During the Tribulation, the False
Prophet will insist that people loyal to
Antichrist wear a mark which will
be placed either on their right hand or on their forehead. This
must be shown to buy or sell, or to transact any business. This mark will
consist of either the name
of the Beast (Antichrist) or his
number, 666.
If you take the mark, you will spend eternity in hell.
MARTYRS,
TRIBULATION
During the Tribulation, a mighty revival will result when 144,000 Jewish evangelists
cover the earth with their testimony of faith in Christ. Multitudes will be saved from all nations.
MILLENNIUM
Millennium means 1,000 years and refers to the kingdom of Christ on earth. This era, foretold by
all the prophets, will be a time of peace among people and nations.

Rapture
That event described in 1 Thess. 4:17 as
those who are "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air
REMNANT
(JEWISH), 144,000
Shortly after the Rapture, there will be another remnant of Jews who turn to Christ. These converted
Jews are called servants of God and they are extremely successful in ministering to others. Not long after
this elect group is announced by John, he describes a great multitude from all nations who have been
converted to Christ as a result of their labor and who are willing to prove their faith through martyrdom
TIME, TIMES, AND HALF A TIME
The last three and one-half years of the Tribulation .
Time = one year. Times = two years. One-halftime = 1/2 year.
WITNESSES,
TWO
Two powerful prophets will appear in Jerusalem during the Tribulation period. The message of Christ’s
return will be preached throughout the world. All will be made aware of the the eventual fall
of
Antichrist, and the coming kingdom of Christ.
These
two witnesses will be miraculously protected for three and one-half years.
Their
power to bring plagues will draw the attention of the world.
When
they have concluded their work, they will be slain and television will beam the
sight of their
dead bodies lying in the streets of Jerusalem to the world. After three
and one-half days of the earth’s
rejoicing
, they will be resurrected and ascend to heaven in a cloud while their enemies
watch,
paralyzed
with fear.
WOMAN
OF REVELATION 12 
Clearly the woman clothed with the sun and wearing a
crown of 12 stars upon her head is Israel. The birth of this
woman's (Israel's) son is predicted in Isaiah 66:7,8.
Here we have the mother, Israel, bringing forth a man child who
is none other than the blessed Lord Jesus Christ.
WORMWOOD
Revelation 8:11 tells us that a star, or meteor, named Wormwood, will strike the earth
and one-third of our planet's water supply will become poisoned.
