| Ocicats are a fairly new breed, developed in the 1960's by combining Siamese & Abssynian with a touch of DSH. They come in a variety of colors & are spotted, like little Ocelots...hence the name. They are gregarious & out-going. They love people & want to be wherever you are, doing whatever you're doing. If you want a cat who is going to lay on the TV & ignore you, this isn't the cat for you. |

| Tigger, a lavender spotted female, joined the family in December 2001. Being a light tan color, her spots don't show up as well. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In February 2002, we welcomed Bubba, an ebony/silver spotted male. He was only 7 weeks old when we brought him home. Although Tigger was only 5 months old & had just been spayed, her mothering instincts kicked in. Bubba had found himself a walking pacifier. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| June 2002 & look what a handsome young man Bubba has become. He has the best contrast of all...meaning his spots show up the best. He also has black "eyeliner" around his eyes, giving him an exotic look. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In September 2002 we got our last baby....I swear. Gump is a chocolate classic male. Classics don't have the required spots, but instead have a marbled pattern. They can be registered & bred, but can't be shown as Ocicats. Gump is Mommy's little mewtant...pardon the pun. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Since they like to be wherever I am, working at my desk became a problem, with cats laying on my mouse pad, printer, desk blotter, etc. I finally rearranged my desk & put a cat bed on one end of it (November 2002) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
