| Zeta Tau Alpha continues to co-sponsor the Survivor Program at the Susan G Komen for the Cure race in Louisville. Races will be held in more than 100 U.S. cities and three foreign countries this year, and thousands of ZTA�s will volunteer. The local sponsor of the race is the Louisville, Kentucky Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and two of our members have served on the organizational committees for the Affiliate. The Louisville race was originally brought to Louisville by the Junior League of Louisville, and many of our members belong to that organization as well. Our Race Coordinator organized the chapter's volunteer efforts to hand out pink t-shirts, signs, goody bags and pink roses to breast cancer survivors. Each year, the number of participants in the race increases, as does the number of ZTA volunteers. We have even had a couple of our members run or walk the Race! |
