HISTORY OF LOUISVILLE LINK
Louisville Link was formed as an alumnae club in 1995.  Two years later, on December 31st, 1997 we were granted our charter and officially became a ZTA Alumnae Chapter!

For the past several years, we have been recognized as a Crown Chapter at Convention, and we've had several members who have received the Kentucky Zeta Lady and Oustanding Alumna Awards.  We've also received the "Most Outstanding Alumnae Chapter in Kentucky" award at Zeta Day.  It has been wonderful to be recognized for all of our outstanding efforts, and we continue to strive for excellence and hope to win a national award someday.

Our group banned together with common goals and ideals, much like our nine Founders before us.  Our original focus was strengthening our sisterhood, and membership recruitment and retention became our primary objectives.  Since then, our membership has remained strong, and we have been able to provide a calendar full of events certain to please everyone, understanding that there are many other obligations placed upon us in today's world.

In 2001, we recognized the need to focus more of our efforts towards philanthropic work.  We provide volunteers for the annual Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Louisville Race for the Cure, as well as other projects which share the goals of The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.: to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment. In recent years, Louisville Link has sponsored a collection drive of personal items which were then taken to area hospital cancer wards to be shared with the female patients.

Our newsletter provides Fraternity Education and the latest sisterhood and chapter news.  We observe Fraternity rituals throughout the year and provide leadership opportunities for our members.  Our members can experience the joy of giving to others through our community service projects.

In 2009 Louisville Link merged with the Louisville Alumnae Chapter .  This is a group with whom you can relax and be yourself. Membership is open to ZTA alumnae members in good standing who live in the Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana area.  Please contact
