VICKERY Genealogy
The VICKERY and VICKREY family name seems to originate in England with family members spreading from there to every other country on the planet. We have traced the oldest known VICKERY in the USA back to Halberton, Devon, England in the early 1600's. His name was George and he landed in Salem, Massachuttes about 1630. He later moved to Marblehead and then settled in Hull Ma. This George is responsible for most of the New England and Canadian families. We have been unsuccessful at connecting his family line to the 2nd oldest line USA families which startes in Virginia in the 1600's and is probably the largest group. We are in contact with family members in the USA, Canada, England, Ireland, Austraila, New Zeland and France. Please drop us a hello note and let us know what you think of the page.
