| This is the Wrestlefest Edition of Alex Prime's Commentary. What an interesting past three days I have had here concerning LVBW and more. First I'll start with some LVBW news. Several roster cuts were made as no showing and other situations have prompted us to make these cuts. They include, "The Kung Fu Sensation" Randall Moore, Don Mikail MIkolivich, Chainsaw, and "The Latin All-Star" Rico Ponce. Also the Scotch Plains event is confirmed for this winter at a time between late November and Mid-December. A date, time, venue, card, and basically everything is still up in the air and there will be more on this as we get information. First though with a little football like J.R. as WMC beat up on East Orange in the second half to win the homecoming game 25 - 6. The field and everything was flooded around it but I was warm and dry in the press box. MWA HA HA HA!!! 3 - 2 now! Also on Sunday the Green Bay Packers became 5 - 1 with a win against the Patriots. Ahman Green once again with a 100+ yard game to help the pack to a 28 - 10 victory over the defending Super Bowl Champions. Anyway I'm only going to say one thing about Saturday and that is I heard Still Fly by The Big Timers more times then I ever wanted to. Anyway it's time for my thoughts on Wrestlefest I. It lived up to it's expectations, and a couple matches exceeded expectations. I'll start off with my match. I ended up facing Rick Wrong as Rico Ponce had certain issues that will keep him out of any future LVBW events. This match was quick and it was basically a squash of Rick Wrong. I didn't like "Flaming" Frank Fudge coming out after the match to come on with the double team but they both will get what is coming to them. I think that the heel personas of Simon and myself came over very well. I'm really starting to enjoy playing the heel in my matches. The biggest pops from the crowd came from the matches where "Flaming" Frank Fudge and Mikey Lighthouse. What these two lack in wrestling skill is made up for by the clear entertainment value. I expect a HUGE push up the card from these two. Mikey Lighthouse is actually one of those that exceeded expectations for both skill and entertainment value. The match of the day was clearly the main event where Boomer beat Simon. This was a battle of one-upsmanship that kept going back and forth in easily one of the best matches of the year. You'll just have to see this one to believe how good it really was. Wrestlefest I was one of the best events. In the top three if not better. And yes there was a second, fatter Blue Meanie. Finally as the first season of LVBW has ended here are, what I think, should be the best 5 matches added onto The Best of LVBW; Year One tape: 5. Wonder vs. Big Bubba Texas 4. The Tank vs. Boomer 3. Wonder vs. Alex Prime 2. "The Kung Fu Sensation" Randall Moore vs. Alex Prime 1. Boomer vs. Simon This has been Alex Prime once again with the commentary. |
