| In this addition of the commentary I'll be discussing the latest news around LVBW, devolpments of next season, and September 11. First is the most important. What is going on this week. As you all know this week is the upcoming one year anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. From what I know Jersey All Pro Wrestling is doing the only show this week in Bayonne with a September 11 Memorial type theme towards. International High Power Wrestling is doing a show called Wrestleaid but that isn't until December. Now the LVBW is obviously doing a show this week. We're gonna plan something for it. I'm not sure yet but it's going to be a surprise and hopefully a good one. We're going to try hard on the 14th to try to do something honarble and decent. Hopefully it will be good enough. LVBW, sometime next year is hoping to branch out of Long Valley and do a show in either Scotch Plains or Westfield. Talks aren't underway. I'm going to be honest. BUT I plan on getting involved soon. We have a strong Scotch Plains and Westfield following. We have at least 5 spots in the Westfield and Scotch Plains area that we could go to. We are not expecting to have a Wrestlefest calliber event that is a huge hyped deal, but more like a Crossing the Deadling where it wasn't too hyped. The reason behind this is that we want to test out the area first before making a huge commitment, and there is always the cancellation possibility. So we'll be safe from a majore dissapointment in that case and we want to make sure we have as strong of a following in the Scotch Plains and Westfield area as we think. Next is the next two HUGE events for LVBW. Abhoration, which is yet to have a theme, and the much anticipated Wrestlefest. I personally can't wait for Abhoration, so it is over and we can get the hype up for Wrestlefest. I can't wait. We have some never guessed surprises lined up. A couple things that ONLY me and Boomer will know until Wrestlefest. I can't wait. But due to me already hyping Wrestlefest, the Abhoration crowd will be slim to nil. I am already bothering wrestlers to make sure they are open for October 12th or 13th, depending on if a lot of people are taking the SAT's. But will The Tank be there on October 12th? How can I say this? Tank explained himself in a recent column posted at his own Main Event Wrestling site And a quote "So I hyped up MEW and made it look like I wanted to run LVBW right out of Long Valley. So with my MEW, LVBW pulled out all their resources and got about 5 new people to show up at the event with out the help of me.".Then he goes on to say "....what I propose is that since LVBW is looking for a Wrestlefest match up thing, I say that the Tank comes back for one night only to set aside the differences and set everything straight." Now The Tank wants one match at Wrestlefest. I don't know what decision to make right now. With a couple surprises already planned, this would be one more huge surprise to add to an already packed card. Well, I'll let a bombshell out now. We hyped a gimmick battle royal, cancelled it because of The Tank's absence. But what is the point just because The Tank left? So we're going to have the LVBW Gimmick Battle Royal..Anyway lots of interesting stuff to come. This has been Alex Prime once again with the commentary. |
