| The Commentary this time is all about LVBW Crossing the Deadline and what's going on backstage. The second Crossing the Deadline had some very interesting things go on. First I'll talk about my match as Deadman against Wonder once again for the LVBW Hardcore Championship. This wasn't some of our best work, but it was still brutal where everything and anything was just about used. The Tank angle that we used as a part of that match was a little more brutal and hardcore then I thought it would be, but I'm sure it made some good TV. Next I'll talk about the Chris Maverick and his match against a returning Kung Fu Sensation Randall Moore. This match wasn't as spectacular as I thought it would be with two similar sized opponents. This match was though a good clash of the martial arts style of Moore and the technical skill of Maverick, but something just didn't seem to click to make this match rise over that hill into one of the greatest. I'm guessing it was a little ring rust on the part of Randall Moore, whose last match was a year ago, or Maverick's inexperience as an LVBW Superstar and inability to carry a rusty Moore. Either way it was not a bad match, but something didn't click to make it incredible. I'll get into a little bit of my thoughts on the backstage situation. The "backstage area" of LVBW seems to be the strongest it has been as, even with The Tank, everyone is getting along at this point with the conflicts of ideas that tend to go on not getting out of hand. The new wrestlers such as Chris Maverick and Huggie Bear fit right in perfectly and the old returning wrestlers such as The Tank, Chainsaw, and Moore, aren't out of place with the new wrestlers in LVBW. A strong backstage leads to strong shows. Next is the most surprsing thing to happen all night, and that is my match as Alex Prime against a returning Chainsaw who hasn't been in the ring in about seventeen months. I faced off against him in a three way dance at the first ever LVBW event, Maximum Voltage back in December of 2001, and that was far from a good match. I honestly was not expecting much out of this match but it happened to be great. The match started out simple and easy and as Chainsaw mastered most of those moves I got progressively harder on him, and Chainsaw kept up the pace. Of course there were your missed spots due to miscommunacations and of course, Chainsaw not wrestling in a year and a half and only having one match under his belt. But as you can tell from the tapes and from me being in the ring, it was the show stealer as it suprised everyone, including me. Great job on Chainsaw's part in helping me tell the story inside the ring. This match was one of my favorites. The next show is May 18, that is Violence Fetish, from the LVBW Arena. I face Chris Maverick and I can't wait. This has been Alex Prime once again with the commentary. CLICK HERE FOR BACK COMMENTARIES!!! |
