| This is Alex Prime back with the post Mass Distruction version of the Comentary. Let me just say that it is good to be back in competitive action here on the backyard wrestling circuit. It's great to be with the guys doin' what we love to do once again. It's been too long. I'll admit, in the opening match (20 Man Tag; 10 Teams) I was a bit nervous to take my first bumps in over half a year, and I didn't take them well by any stretch of the imagination. I barely put myself into the match because of the butterflies and the fear of ring rust. Then came my match with Mapleton Wrestling Federation's Curtis Concussion. Curtis Concussion, from what I know, is a rookie out of MWF with little experience but a lot of power. I saw him the first time at The Backyard Gathering 2. He didn't have a high profile match on the card and he looked fairly out of place. I saw this match as a challenge, with a possibility to be what no one thought it would. It was also a challenge because of the differences in size. Concussion is about 6' 2" and 250 - 300 lbs. There was little I could do offensivly so we both thought of some good psychology and some good spots and it turned out to be a pleasant surprised. I'm lookign forward to the next time I wrestle Curtis Concussion because I believe we had a very good match. The aforementioned tag team match had the return of Slick Rick Wrong, who happened to be my tag team partner. For those who haven't seen the past results page, I beat Rick Wrong at Wrestlefest I, and he hasn't wrestled since. That was 2002. I'm glad to have Rick Wrong back wrestling. I'm not wrestling in February. :( I'm wrestling March 12 for the NGW United States Title and at IRW on March 13 I am with Tapout against J M and Virus This is Alex Prime and this was Alex Prime's commentary CLICK HERE FOR BACK COMMENTARIES!!! |
