WRITING FIX A cool sight with fun little writing exercises to get the juices flowing. Even if you don't suffer from writer's block, they're fun. Personally, I prefer the right-brained writing prompts, but maybe that's just me ;)
YAHOOLIGANS! REFERENCE So what if this is supposed to be a kids' sight? I like it a lot. It has a dictionary, encyclopedia, quotations collection, and a world factbook (with info on places and maps). It's quite useful.
NAMES AND NAME MEANINGS This is actually a sight for expectant parents, but I like to use it to come up with names for characters. Descriptive names are so much fun!
PRIVATE EYES I just like this sight because I like private investigators and anything noir. A fun place to read up on your favorite PIs and bad guys.
