| Another portside view of the Sturmtiger, again giving a good impression of the massive armored strength of the vehicle. On the side of the tank, you can see a large heavy duty sledgehammer, used for the repair and fitting of tank tracks. The upper armoured superstructure, which slightly overlaps the Tiger chassis, could be completely removed by the simple expediency of releasing two bolts at the front of the superstructure. A strong crane was required for this however!!!!! |
