This frontal view of the  PIV gives a nice idea of the tanks boxy, angular construction, a somewhat primitive approach to armor that reflects the age of the chassis ( introduced in the mid thirties) compare this to the sleek angular T34. As you can see the whole of the glacis is covered in zimmerit anti magnetic paste and track links have been hung on it to form additional armor. Clearly visible are the drivers view port and the radio operators ball mounted mg34. Looking towards the turret, you can see the turret skirt tapers into sharp points, allowing the turret viewing ports a clear field of vision and the main armament and co axial mg. Again, the long length of the L/48 cannon can be appreciated in this shot. Beyond that, the cuppola anti aircraft mg is clearly visible, along with the green cartridge box clipped beneath it. the sharp eyed amongst you will spot the fact that the port side skirt is pointing outwards, this was my mistake, i knocked the model whilst photographing and didnt notice!!!! DOH!
