| Beat egg until light. Blend in the cream, melted shortening and sugar. Mix well. Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder together and add to the creamed mixture...stirring to completely blend the ingredients. Beat a few strokes. Pour into well greased muffing pan (filling each cup 2/3 full). Bake immediately for 20-25 minutes in a moderately hot oven (400 degrees). Make 12 medium-sized muffine |
