I have always loved writing, and I turned to it almost instinctively a few years ago to provide myself with a creative outlet--especially as I saw the empty-nest syndrome looming close on the horizon.
(I have two talented and terrific children, Roy and Tamara, who are both in college. They have been traveling extensively on their school breaks and have visited San Francisco, Las Vegas, new York, Honolulu, Nassau and London. They fell in love with London and all things English, and want to return as soon as possible. I may decide to go with them. The atmosphere and ambience of that lovely city is a positive magnet.)
An enthusiastic fan of the romance genre, I turned my efforts to writing a love story. Once started, I surprised myself; I found that I was Just as voracious a writer as I was a reader. That was quite a while ago now--oh, about twenty or so books in the past! It has been incredibly exciting for me, not only to build my own world, but to people it with interesting characters who speak and act at my command. Don't get me wrong, not all my characters are completely subservient to my whims. At some point in almost every story, I find them coming alive and doing exactly as they see fit. Then I have to scramble to rearrange the story to suit them and the situations they have found themselves in . And that is incredibly exciting too.
I am simply delighted that you have enjoyed my love stories so much, and I thank you most sincerely for your cards and letters. Your support means a great deal to me. I'll try hard not to disappoint you.
