10.28.02 Monday
Hi there again... Monday and raining.. not so good combination right?! but let's just make the most of it anyhow. i had a fun weekend, and of course with the time going back, Mommy and I had an extra hour to sleep this morning.. but it's so good to just stay home and cuddle since it's raining. Daddy was with us until this morning too, he was the one that put me to bed last night coz' Mommy went to bed already and i had a long nap so i couldn't quite sleep yet. So he was downstairs with me watching a movie and playing. Yesterday we took a family picture at sears and i had my solos of course, but this time i wasn't very much participating coz' i was grouchy. the reason was i didn't take my nap. even Mommy and Daddy was helping the camera woman to make me smile but they had a hard time... it's ok 'tho coz' the pictures still came out nice. i took my halloween photos, birthday ones and christmas too. the christmas one, Mommy will make that a Christmas card so she can send to her friends for christmas season. last Saturday everyone left except for Grandma, Uncle Dodong and me, they went to pick up my other Granpa (lolo's brother) that came from Germany. too bad he didn't come home with them, but we will see them again this weekend coz' i think Mommy will pick them up in Maryland on thursday. It's a long story why he couldn't come with them, he's due for hospital check up and all... he came here only to get medical help coz' in Germany they don't have enough things to work with. Anyway i'm excited to see them coz' they were asking bout me too. Well tomorrow we will all be going to Norfolk for a special occassion.... of course i'm gonna see Daddy again so that's good. Mommy, Daddy and I loves to play together on our bed, i dance around and Daddy throws me up in the air too while Mommy just stares at us coz' she says we're both crazy doing these things. Daddy also made our bed, like a baby's crib where that spinning thing is hanging on top of our head...hehehe. yup daddy took that thing from my crib and hang it on the ceiling coz' i love that very much. i love the bears spinning and spinning and that lullaby song makes me go to sleep so daddy put it up there for me, and Mommy said that's so silly coz' now she feels like a baby too. Daddy is the sweetest coz' he's always inventing things that makes me happy, he won't stop until he gets it done. well this is it for now, i will be back again soon.... take care!

well, it's Thursday already, ain't that fast? the other night Daddy came again and pick my uncle Marlon and i was awake then. He was playing with me the whole time, and as a result, he got tired so he end up sleeping early like me. He made me walk a lot too... good coz' Mommy is making fun of me, telling me im walking like a duck with my two feet facing each other. but grandpa said it's like that in the beginning, and pretty soon ill be running around everywhere. well Mommy will show you here if she can get those pictures up soon. my diaper rash is still bothering me and again last night for just an hour or two after i got home from the babysitter, i didn't have diaper on me again. Mommy still makes sure that she changes me at night. well next week i will be going to vabeach on tuesday night, coz' we have a special special occassion going on, just for the family, but for now i won't mention anything about it until it gets done. i'm happy happy happy for this day to come. Mommy still hasn't bought my halloween custome yet, but she plans to take my pictures at sears this weekend, with daddy here of course. Mommy wants to buy me a duck outfit complete with those yellow feet and that tail, since i walk like a duck. well while we were at the mall, she almost bought me a princess outfit but she knows that im a princess now so why be a princess still if i am already. she'll probably buy two outfits or something, but i don't know if i'm gonna go trick or treating 'tho coz' Grandma might not want me to go to the mall at night or in the late afternoon. how i wish my aunties will be here so they can come with me. anyhow, i think i gonna go now, later gators....
10.22.02 Tuesday
so yeah there are minor change of plans around here... Mommy is doing her best to do everything at once, and she will sometime soon aight! DAddy came over last night to drop off uncle Marlon coz' my babysitter is again not available today so Mommy dont want to take off from her work so she asks Daddy if his brother could do it... so Daddy came and saw me while i was sleeping already coz' it was around 9pm when they got here. Daddy was just staring at me and holding my hands, and he can't believe how much i've grown from the last time he saw me which was almost a week ago. Mommy didn't bring me to vabeach this weekend coz' they left on friday too late and also i had me the worst kind of diaper rash that the doctor called 'yeast infection'. so she thinks that grandma can watch over me much better and monitor my diaper rash. that cream that the doctor prescribed only made my rash much worse, i think i got use to the other prescription that she gave me b4 but it wasn't meant for diaper rash only for itchy red spots in my body, but then grandma use it on my diaper rash and it works too. so now that's what im using on my rash and now it's getting much better looking... and also grandma and mommy always wash me not only when i poop but also when everytime i change my diaper or everytime i pee coz' the truth is i haven't been using diaper for like the whole weekend and until now coz' grandpa and grandma said that diaper is too hot and my rash needs to have clean air so they don't put diaper on me, so now the whole entire house smells like pee...hehehe. but at night mommy puts diaper on me, but also she wakes up at night to make sure she change me. but when i stayed with grandma this weekend she don't even put diaper on me even at night... she just makes sure the bed has lots of extra bed sheets on top of one another, but when i pee she gets up again and again just to change me, and also the bed sheets underneath me... grandma is the most patient person in the world and the loving and caring one. well anyways, so Mommy went to vabeach and stayed at daddy's new place, she bought a lot of things around the house that daddy forget to buy... and also they had a little get together to celebrate a house warming party. uncle Marlon cooks really good, so he and mommy went shopping at 4 seasons to get ready for the house warming and he showed mommy how to cook the best sinigang with lots more ingredients than what Mommy cooks b4, and also apritada. also Mommy bought ice cream there thats made from phil. it's called 'halo-halo fiesta' so that's gonna be everyones dessert and also she cooked turon for dessert. well everyone came there, and also ninong Joseph was there also, coz' ya know how she is always with Mommy b4 and still very close with Mommy now like best friends, and now he is also very close to Mommy's siblings and of course to daddy too. well he was just there even in the afternoon, he brought some lunch from litas and he ate there and then he was off again for school and then he came back for our party. he still keeps buggin' Mommy and asking when she gonna move there so it's more fun, when it's his day off, he chats with Mommy online while Mommy is at work...he's a funny ninong and was even telling Mommy why she didn't bring me there coz' he wants to play with me too. when everyone came over, we just ate and ate and telling Mommy again and again how good everything is, even the turon that she cooks is so good that they ask to bring a lot of everything home, which mommy brought for them the next day coz' they forget and were lazy to bring the food home. my ninang aileen bought also 'selecta' ice creams from 4seasons and one of 'em is mommy's favorite 'ube', and the other one is good too 'fruit salad'. so everyone had lots of ice cream and turon after the dinner. well anyhow after the dinner, the guys just stayed over and play chess or PS2 while all the girls left for the mall... dang, there was lots of sale that Mommy and sisters took advantage of that and they were there for the longest time and the guys were making fun at them coz' they think that they bought the whole entire mall..hehehe. well the next day Mommy left early and didn't wait up for daddy coz' she missing me very much so she left and went to Norfolk to pick up uncle dodong, but b4 they left, again the sisters and my ninong tacky went to NEX and do more shopping and this time for me too. Mommy bought me shoes for winter, she don't have to buy me clothes for winter coz i have so many gifts from people and i can't even tell ya how many coats and all those winter stuff i got. so mommy just bought me shoes and she also kindly nicely bought groceries for my aunties there that grandma said she gonna pay for it when she gets home, but Mommy said she don't gotta pay no more coz' she believes that sisters should help each other out... so when they went grocery shopping, i think auntie thogs was really hungry coz' she was pointing on everything...hehehe.. well im glad now they have lots of food there. i want to thank my aunties for the nice gifts they gave, they are the most sweetest aunties in the whole wide world, even getting mad at mommy for not taking me there but i know i will see them again the soonest. i am so hyper now, i can jump around, and dance and just talk to Mommy nonstop and if i want something i ask mommy to do it for me if i can't do it, like if i want my barney doll to sing, i give the barney doll to mommy and utter something like babyish talk... then mommy plays it for me so i can dance and jump around again. also i can be the sweetest baby you'll ever know, my auntie thogs might say i'm spoiled but mommy thinks i'm just being sweet 'tho coz' if i want something and i don't get it coz' mommy says no, i just go on mommy's lap and hug her... well sometimes i just yell out and cry too, but after that i go to mommy and just cuddle with her, also i love doing that to grandma when she comes home from work i just run to her and hug her the tightest hug ever. well until here i gotta go now... just be careful out there aight!

hi again people... whats up?! well yesterday Mommy was off again coz' the babysitter wasn't available to babysit me, so Mommy has to take off work. We had fun together, well at first not really, coz' all i did was cry at first at the doctor's office. around 8ish am, we went to see my doctor, my one year old check up. they took a blood sample from me, to tell if i have enough iron in my body, then they gave me 2 shots on each arm... awwwy! it hurts much so i just cry and cry, and b4 that i got kinda bored too coz' Mommy and I were just sitting in a room with no windows to look outside, and just wait for the shots to come. well when it did, i was cranky already then those shots made me much worse... well i'm glad that's over, but the doctor gave me antibiotic for my diaper rash that's been buggin' me since Monday. she said it's yeast infection and its itchy too... dang, i couldn't go to bed one night and i was just jumping up and down and everyone couldn't figure out what i was doing until the next day they opened up my diaper and i had the worst big looking red spots in there. Daddy was feeling so bad for me, and also my auntie Delly who was still here in Richmond that time, coz' she's the last one that left to go back home. well now i feel better. Yesterday Mommy and I went to the mall too, after my doctor's appt. to buy my prescription. but ya know Mommy once she's in the mall it's very hard to get her out... so can you believe it we were there from 9am until around 1pm already, Mommy did some shopping and also she bought me another toy coz' she felt bad for me for the shots. Sometimes when we get tired, Mommy stops and sits down, and then we go around our bussiness again, shopping, shopping, and shopping. but most of the time she just window shop, well she wants to look around first, she bought some but not all that she liked, i think today she's going back to buy these boots that she likes so much, they're TH (tommy hillfinger) boots so just imagine how expensive they are so Mommy kinda hesitates but i think her inner desire will win eventually..hehehe! well Mommy and me and my uncle Dodong are going to see my Daddy and aunties this weekend, it'll be fun to hang around with them, coz' they are always always spoiling me there, i think Mommy and all of us will go to the mall again coz' that's my favorite place to be, when i was at the doctor's office, when Mommy said 'let's go to the mall', i just stop crying for real. well that next to chocolate, coz' i love me some chocolate baby! k then until here i gotta go now, also the doctor said i can start on whole milk now since i'm a year old, but Grandma is scared to start me on that coz' she said infant milk's has more vitamins, well of course, but we'll see, i guess i gotta try it first to know which one i like, but if Grandma gets her way (which is always over everyone else) well let's just say i'll be in infant's milk until i'm 3 or something...hehehe. bye for now...take good care aight..!

... and so my party is over! oh boy what a party indeed! We had so much fun dancing and playing games, and eating.... and of course seeing everyone there was a blast! anyways, today i'm back to my babysitter, yesterday Mommy was off again so she stayed home with me, while Daddy and Uncle Marlon was busy moving in there new place in Vabeach. Yesterday I also went to say goodbye to Auntie Karen, Uncle Ron and Lola Nor... they went back to NY. I hope to see them again real soon! Also my ninong Joseph came with us...hehehe... let's just say he got smitten by someone...haha! He stayed at our place since Saturday and Mommy and Daddy and them went out on a dinner last Sunday night... it's a romantic night too..hmmmm! well the barkadas from Vabeach also stayed there last sat. night, and they were just having fun outside the house until really late... thanks to them we got home early too coz' they help us clean the place up. they all so cool! well i'm just really happy at the party. they says i'm a big girl compare to other one year olds... even asking Mommy what she feeding me...heheeh! and of course telling Mommy again and again how pretty i am, and who's my Daddy, and if my Daddy is white... hahaha! i guess Daddy looks mix coz' they thought he can't speak tagalog too. it's a mad party... i hope everyone had fun, and the DJ was very good too coz' he was playing songs until we were even cleaning up and so we just dance and dance and I was even falling asleep while dancing and it made my auntie Jewel laugh coz' she said i'm fighting to fall asleep. i like the slow songs too, Mommy, Daddy and I slow danced together. well Mommy has lots of pics but it's not of everyone that came to the party 'tho, she couldn't do things all at once, but some my aunties took for her, she wish she got a picture of everything but she's running things a lot, she went everywhere to pick up things, and even was there for decoration and fixing the table... everyone else was cooking and/or running and decoration with her.... and Daddy and others took all the food to the party from the house, that's a lot of work too. well we wish we had more time to prepare things coz' some things we couldn't find, we were kinda unorganize... but now that we all know how it is to throw a big party, next time we'll do it so perfectly. also Mommy forgot to hand out those birthday favors which are personalized magnets that says 'Alainah's 1st Birthday'.. and also it say's 'thank you' in there... well i guess Mommy will just mail those to people. k then, have a good week to everyone out there... and also come back soon for pictures at the party! bubye....

Wow it seems like ages since I last wrote in here! So how's everyone doing? I hope alright as in pretty super duper alright! Mommy been really busy lately so this been kinda neglected, but soon you will see new pictures of me on my birthday. Mommy will cover everything on that day, from video to pics... everyting from cooking, to decorating and most especially my bday celebration where everyone will be eating and dancing... and just having fun! Grandma and Grandpa went out this weekend to buy some of what Grandma gonna cook already like lots and lots of meat... whoa! it's like 20 lbs of meat, and still have to pick up there other order of 30 lbs. more meat on Thursday! Daddy will be here on Thursday already, so he can help out too. But the best good news is also that one of my Daddy's brother will be coming here on Friday... he just came from PI 2 weeks ago, and in South Carolina right now. So he will be coming along with some relatives out of town too. This weekend Mommy went to get my special Pinata for the party for the lil kids who will be there... MOmmy wants the kids to have a good time too coz' it is my birthday and i'm a kid too... my Auntie Jewel will be the mc on that day coz' she is such a talker and also her beau will be the DJ. Auntie Jewel was asking Mommy this past weekend what kind of games are there for kids, and since MOmmy don't know lots of games, Mommy just told her she's gonna leave it up to Auntie Jewel and Mommy will just get the prices ready for kids. So Auntie Jewel said ok, and so she will be the one running the kids games, and she will be there on my party... Mommy really appreciates this coz' we know how busy she is with her work and living in VAbeach too... Mommy and her went to ODU together, but already known each other way b4 that in my Grandma's church since her mom is close to my Grandma too. Mommy didn't really do anything much for my party this weekend coz' most everything is ready already... she just needs to go grocery shopping when Daddy comes on Thursday. Grandma was the one running errands with Grandpa and my Grandpa is the sweetest one coz' he went all out just buying things for the barbecue things.. he's funny coz' he was telling Mommy how many lbs. of everything should be bought. Grandpa went to the hospital today to get more check up, i hope and pray that God will give his strength back. Last but not the least, i'm happy to report that our dog che-che's (prounce as she-she) house is already made by my infamous Daddy... he just finish it up this weekend, it's a big dog house coz' Daddy feels sorry for her when winter comes, so now she can enjoy her big house and Daddy will add the heating later on when winter is here. Also we all think that she is pregnant too, we gonna have lil puppies. Well this is it for now, Daddy went home late last night coz' he was still playing with me. Don't forget to ask me how old i am on my party coz' Mommy taught me how to point out my finger to one... everyone at church yesterday was having a blast asking me how old i am coz' they are really amazed to how smart i am, and they says i'm looking bigger now and tall and looking more like my Daddy.. they all says i'm mixed even those ones who don't know me thinks that Mommy is married to a white dude...hahahha...she wish! No, but my Daddy is the best coz' he cares a lot all people and dogs (hehe) around him... i also learn how to bless with my elders, taking there hands and put 'em on my forehead... this is also one of the things that Grandpa taught me and still yet to discover by everyone!
