12.30.02 Monday
hey you all! New year will be here in 2 days! Wishing you all the best in 2003! Anyway what a week for me! First I was hospitalized on xmas day from vomitting then i had fever after my hospitalization for few days and also i developed diarrhea. Everyone got so scared because I was so sick. I am still a lil bit sick now from diarrhea but other than that im getting better. I went to the hospital twice because mommy, daddy and my grandparents are scared that i might get dehydrated from vommitting and diarrhea at thesame time. The first time I went there they put me on ivy or dextrose. that was scary because they had to put needles on me but the ivy helped a lot because it made me stronger from all the puking i did. i was puking from 6am until 3pm when i left the hospital. i threw up everywhere from the hospital bed to nurses, to mommy, daddy and grandma. then after the hospital i went home and then i got fever that same night. then the next morning mommy took me to my doctor and i was still puking but not much anymore. then at night i had diarrhea from 3am until the next day... i pooped everywhere. i poop on our bed, on my clothes... just everywhere. from 3am to 9am i must have pooped 10times or more.. so then mommy, daddy and grandma got scared again and rushed me back to the hospital. right now im better but still have diarrhea. mommy and everyoen are still putting me on diet... not much milk because milk makes me poop more...hehehe! anyway the first time i went to the hospital and they had to give me ivy and take my blood, daddy was there too but he didn't want to see the nurses put needles on me. he asked to leave because he can't stand me crying hard with the needles and all. ya see daddy is a softy inside. so mommy and grandma stayed but mommy started shedding some tears too because its just so painful for her to see me like that. after all that daddy came back and he saw me with ivy on my left hand and he started crying too. it wasn't a good time for all of us but mommy and daddy is proud of me because i was a good girl through it all. i was still a sport except the needle thing of course and when i puke, i just cry and cry. but other than that i slept a lot. oh yeah at the hospital too a lot of people came to visit me and i was only there for a day... its nice to know that everyone loves me. around 3pm we went home. and then it felt xmas again because i can see the xmas tree and the gifts under the tree. we opened gifts around 5pm and i had so many new toys and clothes. my aunties gave me so many clothes, nice outfits to go to church. also mommy's friends send me gifts and grandmas friends too. grandma gave me lots of clothes too. mommy cant wait to put the clothes on me so she can take more pictures. she said im her doll...hehehe. i think mommy didn't have barbie when she was little...hehehe! and of course i have many gifts from mommy and daddy. they always make me feel very special. i am still lil weak now but im enjoying all my new toys, mommy and daddy dont let me play much yet because i still tumble and fall from time to time... i need to get much more stronger so i can run again. anyhow daddy is babysitting me the whole week this week and also next week. he's on vacation. they want to take me to vacation in atlantic city but not sure yet because i am still recovering. i will see my aunties again for new year. our games on xmas eve was so much fun. i played along too with mommy and daddy. mommy daddy and i just stay home most of the time, we dont go out because of me. they want me to fully recover before i start going out again. its ok coz we are always playing together. anyway until here... ill write again next time. have a great new years eve to all!
12.23.02 Monday
one more day til christmas eve! i can't wait to open my presents now because we have so many gifts under our tree. i already took lots of pictures with the tree n gifts. anyway im at daddy's place now. we're having so much fun here because my aunties n uncles r all here n we just went shopping all day. later we gonna go to the mall again. mommy n i went to NEX 3 times today... crazy right? first we went there in the morning to get presents that my lolo and lola draw n that time daddy was still sleeping so we didn't wake him up to go with us. then we went home around noon n daddy was already awake so we went to NEX again hoping to find gifts that daddy n uncle marlon picked. we only got one present tho because its hard to find 'em b/c we dont know what they want. we still have to buy 2 more gifts n we're saving that tonight at the mall or tomorrow at the NEX in Norfolk since they have more to choose from there. the third time we went to NEX again but with my aunties n uncle Charles because they want to buy gifts for the ones that they picked. they ended up buying 3 gifts there. i think auntie del has to buy another gift too so shes coming with us at the mall. auntie G is done with her shopping tho. what a week of shopping for realz. i love shopping tho so its not a problem for me. i make them all crazy because i dont want to be held anymore, i just go on my own everywhere without holding somebody's hand n mommy don't want this idea b/c she always want to hold my hands while im walking. daddy n me play there too.. hide n go seek... its fun coz' i look for daddy where he at. well i want to tell you a lot of things but i think i gonna go now b/c we have more things to do. im just so hyper at daddy's place n i just finish eating dinner now. mommy tries to feed me but if u know me i don't want to be fed anymore too, i can do it on my own thats why. im a big girl now doing everything that u can do... its funny b/c i can copy whatever u are doing but in a little girls way. i can even say what u say n it makes everyone laugh b/c im a copy cat now. but the thing that i do most now is when u try to hug mommy or my lola n say 'mine' i end up crying that's coz i get jealous now too. ill try to hug them too but i end up crying more b/c i get really jealous.. n everyone does this to me to make inis to me. n also if i get scared about anything or get shocked i tap my chest b/c grandma taught me this to get my scariness away... so everytime someone says moo-moo i just tap my chest n i dont get scared anymore, n also if there's a loud bang or something, i do this too. n if i fall accidentally from walking fast then i do this too... funny right but it works for me b/c grandma teaches me well. anyway i need to go now. ill come back agn next time. take care u all.. n if i dont get to talk to u all again... i wish you all a merry xmas with your family! byes....

YAY... FRIDAY! Mommy will have vacation n we will go to daddy's place after church on Sunday. then Daddy will be here tonight.. along with my aunties.. really yay! Mommy n i with uncle dodong r going shopping today after mommy's work. mommy's been going shopping all this week but so far she's gotten only 4 gifts... one for me, for daddy, for my babysitter n the babysitter daughter, ate micah. she has more to go! daddy will get me another gift today coz' it was sold out at the store near our place. mommy wants the best for me, that's why she goes read everywhere whats the best for toddlers now. she also knows that its not the gift that counts, it's the way im being brought up with people around me that loves me very much, and she doesn't want to be the best mom out there, just the best mom for me. anyway my grandpa put together the high chair that mommy bought for me last night. and boy i love that chair. i didn't even want to go down. finally the food was ready n i get to eat there all alone... well of course grandma was watching me n mommy too. i can eat on my own now. i know how to grab food using the teaspoon n putting the food in my mouth.. im really good at it. i love eating on my own so much that if someone grabs my spoon n try to feed me, i just get mad n i yell. mommy is proud of me coz' she was looking at me while eating last night. i guess she can't believe her eyes that im growin fast n smart. after eating last night, i tried the white dress that mommy bought for me for this coming sunday at church. its a long dress n i can wear my new shoes with that too. i have a lot of dress that i only wore once but mommy keeps buying me new ones for new occassions. i have 3 white dresses.. but the other two are sleeveless n mommy don't want me catching cold so she bought me one with sleeve. so i was walking with my dress n showed it to my Grandpa n grandma said i was very pretty n then i knocked at uncle dodong room n showed him too. he took a picture of me too. i can't wait to show daddy my white dress n all my aunties. well this is it for now... i will catch u guys again next time. mommy will posts our family xmas portrait here n also the one i took with santa this coming weekend but not for sure yet because she has to do lots of shopping with daddy n my aunties. so hopefully when she gets an alone time she will do this. have a great weekend to all. take care....

woooooohhoooo! today im gonna see Santa! my auntie Aileen is with me now b/c shes come pick me up at my babysitter so me, her, uncle dodong n my ninong tacky will all go shopping together. Mommy is still at work, but later when she gets off we're all going to see Santa so i can take a picture with him n i can tell him what i want for xmas. this is my first time to see Santa. last year i didn't go b/c i was too small then so mommy didn't really take me out much, but now that i can walk n run, i can go with her everywhere n lola wouldn't say anything unless its too mcuh going out or if its late at night. lola dont want me to go out much b/c of the weather outside, she never wants me catching colds or anything like that. that's why when everyone goes shopping, lola rather want me staying home with her. well if lola has plans this weekend, then mommy n daddy will bring me shopping with them in DC. i bet lola got plans b/c she has to do her shopping too. eveyr year lola gives out so many gifts to all of her friends, and she gets the most gifts too n me b/c her friends give me gifts too even when they havent met me yet, they give me gifts b/c lola always mention me to her friends. she loves me very much... shes my mama. i call her mama n for my mom is mommy or mi for short. like i said im gonna see Santa today n then this weekend coming up im very excited too b/c i will be one of the angels when Jesus is born at our church. everyone will be coming over to see me. my aunties will all be here agn. well this is it for now. im waiting for my mi now. take care...
12.16.02 Monday
My weekend was full of fun... fun! I spent all weekend long at Daddy's place n let me tell you it's always a party there b/c my aunties n their friends n Mommy's friends had a get together n we're so busy getting ready for it. Even I was helping MOmmy out to clean the living room so that the visitors can see our place clean! usually its a mess with all of my things everywhere. I get to cheer Mommy up while she's running errands with Uncle Marlon n while they were cooking. Mommy n them cooked so much food that some of the visitors take some food home, n also my aunties took food back to Norfolk with them. I had a blast, im really a party gal coz' im just running n having fun with everybody at thesame time they are playing cards or chess or just watching tv n talking. im very social with all of 'em but at first i get shy but afterwards ill be so active that mommy n everyone says im so hyper. they all left mommy n i to go clubbing.. even daddy went with all of 'em.. with uncle/ninong joseph too. we get to meet uncle josephs new gf.. we're glad that uncle joseph is happy again with someone special to love. he's really worth the happiness coz' mommy always says hes a good guy. anyway on saturday morning we went to visit lola lola and tia agnes at uncle josephs place. daddy was still sleeping coz' he works night shift until 11pm... so we let him sleep and mommy n i went pasyal to say hi to lola lola. mommy used to go there a lot just to talk to lola lola but lately since we live far now she hasn't had time, but this saturday she went n she get to talk to her n also share breakfast with uncle joseph. lola lola had so many things to say... mmommy just smiles with all the things that she has to say. shes a funny grandma. then after all that we went back home, n wake up daddy so we can go run errands to buy for the party at night. well that's my weekend. mommy didn't get to go shopping for xmas gifts but shell have a week off b4 xmas n we will stay with daddy n we will buy gifts then. oh yah ill have another party to go to this coming sunday... its our xmas party at our church... and guess what? ill be an angel with wings n halo. every year we have a dramatization of the night when jesus was born, n this year since i can walk now, ill be an angel. mommy will take lots of pics n also video of that day so she can show u here. mommy n daddy are just very proud of me coz' they said im everything they hope for. i always learn something new now n everyone keeps makin me do them esp. when i was at daddys place, i can say 'ala na' meaning wala na/ no more... i think thats my favorite phrase right now. n when i poop, mommy knows it too coz' i just make this silly face that says i poop...hehehe.. n i make this face too when someone says 'baho poop'. everyone still makes me fly kiss to them too... n lastly when u sing 'hickory hickory duck' i can make the moves with that b/c grandma taught me how eversince n lately ive been imitating her a lot n now when u sing it i can make the hand moves n everyone says whoa! when i do this. n also wiht the song twinkle twinkle lil star- i have my hand moves on that too. im learning more songs with their hand moves like itsy bitsy spider but i dont quite do that yet. its a busy world for reals... n im happy to have the bestest family to teach me all the things i can learn to do... byes for now n come back next time for more silly stories!

whats up u all?! hope just fine. well well well... christmas is coming sooo soon. im just really excited for this time b/c i know i can be more active now than last christmas. i will see everyone again and i can't wait to just have some family quality time together. daddy will have his vacation for 2 weeks and i cant wait to be around daddy 24/7. anyway, this coming weekend, i will go to daddys place b/c he has to work and b/c we will have a big party there. my aunties finals are over, and they want to party hard with me. mommy n uncle marlon will cook their famous sinigang, and other things for everyone to come over n eat. mommmy will order big palabok and lumpia to go with the handa. this celebration if for my aunties who work hard for their school n mommy wants to treat them... n besides that, its my uncle dodong bday and my daddy's bday too. some friends from richmond are attending too.. like lots of 'em i think... coz' my aunties have lots of friends there n they want to party with my aunties since their finals are all over with. this means party for me too of course! mommy invites only few peeps, only the closest to her coz' she dont want lots of ppl at my daddys place. well we're not sure yet if we gonna have the party at daddy's place or my aunties place... we just know that we will have the party and lots of food n drinks will be provided by my dear mommy. i am very excited coz' i just love parties n seeing lots of ppl like this. anyway.. lets change the subject. oh guess what? i have 6 lil teeth now... n mommy is teaching me how to brush my teeth. really fun. i look funny tho n end up just biting the toothbrush. well thats it for now. i also weighed 21 lbs now.. i will go to my doctor after i turned 15 months old in january coz' i have more shots to take... ouchy... but i know its all good for me. well need to go now... ill write again more next time... bubye!

hello all! how's the snow there? well i heard it didn't snow in my daddy's place, well it did but it didn't stick to the ground....hehehehe! 2bad for you all there who wants to snow ... like my aunties want to see some snow but maybe next time aunties! a lot, lot of snow here.... the driveway and roads have so many snow that there's no much cars driving around. guess whos' babysitting me today? it's Grandpa. Mommy is soooo crazy coz' she decided to go to work so she don't have to use her sick leave or vacation coz' we'll have a good week long vacation this holiday and thats when she want to use her leave. anyways, grandma went to work too but she didn't drive, coz' her company driver came to pick her up from the house.... nice huh?! Grandpa gets to stay home and he ends up babysitting me coz' he said he don't gotta go to work. of course Uncle Dodong is here too coz' ya know all schools here are close. what a day of fun for me! i get to see the snow white outside and play at home with Grandpa and uncle dodong. Also Mommy is going home soon. She plans to stay at work only for few hours, like 2 hours then she'll go home too. she just want to show up so she don't need to use her leave time... smart MOmmy huh! Daddy said it didn't snow much where he lives.... he told Mommy to be careful driving and Mommy called me to say that she's ok as soon as she got to work and told me that there's only 3 other people at her work... i guess they're all staying indoors too. My aunties want to snow at their place, but it didn't happen... it's ok aunties when u come here on the holidays i'm sure it'll snow again and you'll get to be with me and play with me in the snow just like last year. well til here now... im gonna look outside again and watch uncle dodong clean our driveway. he's so nice coz' he cleaned the walking path, and Mommy's car so she can drive to work. Grandpa is staying indoors with me... staying warm and just loving the snow from the inside. i don't think i'm gonna go outside and play... ill wait for my aunties when they come here and itll snow.. then i will join them to build a snow man coz' thats what they always do.
b4 i 4get, yesterday was Uncle Dodong bday. and he turned big 18! but ya know he's still the baby boy in the house... and my aunties including mommy spoils him too.. but he's growin' responsibly now.. so we're all proud of him! like I said the other day, Mommy took him out shopping last night. i didn't go with them coz' they came and pick me up from the babysitter but i was taking a nap, so Mommy didn't want to bother my sleep and also my babysitter lola Glo said to just let me sleep and she don't allow me to go outside in the cold weather... nice babysitter huh... that's why she's the only babysitter that Mommy trust.. coz' shes one awesome lady! so Grandma came to pick me up after her work while Mommy and uncle dodong went shopping. They also went to buy lots of food so we have handa for uncle dodong coz' grandma will not cook pansit until the weekend.. they bought lots and lots of food including a bday cake so he can make a wish and blow the cake. I get to blow the candles too and I know how.. i'm really good at it... Mommy was laughing at me tho coz' she said i was looking very cute. anyways that all i gotta say here... cross ur fingers harder tita G so itll snow there too.... bu-byes now!

Decemberrrr...rrrrr....rrr...rrrrrr! Yupp it's too cold outside. Mommy turns on our electric heater upstairs coz' it gets too cold. esp. for me b/c i hate going under the covers. i never ever like to have a blanket over me.. that's why Mommy makes sure i have sweater and long pants on me... she also puts socks on my feet so i stay warm even when i kick the covers away! Christmas is just around the corner. too fast aint it? pretty soon it's new year then another year to look forward to. i'm getting bigger and i can go places this coming summer time. MOmmy and everyone plans to take me to Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens already... i can't wait 4 that coz' i know it's gonna be so much fun. Tomorrow is Uncle Dodong bday and Mommy is going home early so she can take uncle dodong out and me shopping. They're going to pick me up here at my babysitter's house. This weekend will be an exciting one coz' Mommy's friends from college will all be in town to have a reunion... and they all want to see me. Daddy's bday is coming up too, but it's gonna be on a Tuesday. Hopefully Mommy will take off and we'll go see daddy to surprise him on his bday. Mommy and I needs to go shopping for his gift too. I'm still not tired looking at our xmas tree, if u ask me where the xmas tree at... ill point at it and say there. I am just so active now that MOmmy gets amazed sometimes coz' her baby is growing fast. She misses me much when shes at work b/c as soon as she gets home she just spends time with me and cuddles me close to her. Daddy will take 2 weeks off after xmas and we will go somewhere to spend a family vacation. Mommy is not sure where yet, coz' she's deciding for a perfect place to go... she don't want to be outdoors a lot coz' she don't want me to get sick. And it'll be only a week vacation coz' Mommy needs to work so she can earn more vacation to go to the Philippines. Mommy and Daddy talked about not having a family vacation on 2003 coz' they want to go back to PI on january 2004. that's gonna be a big vacation for us. i will be going too of course coz' Mommy can't stand being far away from me. That's why after xmas, Daddy is taking off from work and Mommy too so we can have a family vacation somewhere close to home. Maybe to New York or to Atlantic City. But Daddy is also talking to Mommy that maybe he can take her to go to Europe for just few days. I don't think they'll take me to Europe with them though coz' that's too far for me. Just a lot of plans for now.. but i'm sure we'll have plenty of time together as a family this holiday season...til here. stay warm k... lubs, lainah-pie!
