08.28.02 Wednesday... much later!
i just wanna tell you something sooo interesting that Mommy and Daddy had a lil discussion about.... well, Mommy wants to get my ear pierce since i'm turning ONE soon, but Daddy won't let her do it... even when it will be done at my pediatrician's, not a random place at the mall, where it can't be too safe for babies like me... anyway still Daddy won't let me do it, coz' he said i'm still too young, even when the piercing is done at the doctor's office, he still don't trust 'em. ya see Daddy is sooo protective of me, and he really looks out for me. He said at my age, you can't be too careful, that it's better to be safe than sorry. Mommy asks the doctor what is the safe age to get the piercing done, and he even said it's not until after 6 months old... so that's the only time they do it at my pediatrician. Thanks Daddy for caring soooo much for me, and being there to protect me always. Daddy is very good to take care of me even b4, coz' b4 he left for cruise, he even bought me things like air purifier and also air dehumidifier... so i really appreciate everything Daddy coz' you really are a great and the sweetest Daddy in the whole wide world. Mommy is so grateful too coz' you are a very responsible person, that always thinking about what's good for our family. He is here with us tonight and i just love to play with him coz' he can swing me in the air, and feel like i have wings... well i gotta go now, i just wanted to share you this b4 i go to bed and have a good night sleep with Daddy tonight.... maybe next time MOmmy on the ear piercing thing, i agree with Daddy anyway coz' he only thinks of what's good and safer for me... but MOmmy i know you meant good too, coz' you only wants me to look like a girl coz' lots of peeps wonder if i'm a boy or girl...but anyway Mommy still knows i'm the prettiest girl out there with my pretty eyes and my round face and chubby cheeks.. MOmmy is sooo crazy coz' she still calls me her little Tiffy... as in tiffany amber tiesen... crazy MOmmy for real but i don't mind tho... coz' MOmmy is really into beauty things... bubye now gotta go to bed now....goodnight....

Hi there again... I'm such a big girl now... Mommy said i have so many attitudes now compare to b4, i can really be grouchy if i don't get what i want... and people keep telling me that since i'm born in October that i'm gonna grow up as a strict girl like my Auntie Delly and also some grown ups i know... but of course i'm also a sweet girl and a very smart one since i know a lot of things now, and i can imitate what people are doing, even making them laugh and amazed at some things i can do. Everyday it seems like i learn something new. But something that really catches my attention is watching MTV, like when somebody sings and mommy put the music up, i really pay attention to whats going on... well Mommy did sing a lot when she had me in her tummy coz' i hear her... now i really like music... and even my toys got music and esp. with Minnie who also crawls around with me, when the music plays, i just sit there and move back and forth like dancing.... and Mommy thinks this is sooo cute and Mommy now teaches me some moves so when there are parties and such, i can entertain people... well i already do anyway coz' they think im a big girl now and really be active with grown ups and play with them, and they are always telling me how good i am with people and of course, why am i sooo smart compared to other babies out there. I thank my Grandma and my MOmmy and all my aunties for teaching me so many things... even when they all say i'm so easy to learn things, but without them i don't think i can be a smarty baby all alone. Mommy and Daddy are the sweetest coz' they always get me something and they never forget me when they go somewhere together... and esp. Daddy because he gets worried about all the things thats going on with me. He's always shock when he sees me like a day after or two days after coz' i've grown a lot and he said i learn something new again and i love showing him the things that i can do. I can't forget when the first time Daddy came home and he saw me, he had tears in his eyes, and he said i'm the most beautiful baby in the world. and Like Mommy said she fell in love with my eyes... people do fall in love with me quickly and i appreciate that coz' they are true to me. in the end that's all that matters.

I went to see my doctor yesterday coz' I've been having cough and runny nose for about a week now. I went with Grandma and Mommy. I don't like that place very much coz' as soon as they lie me down the bed, I start crying. The doctor said my lungs sounds good but they still gave me a medicine for my cough because Mommy told the doctor I'm loosing sleep because of it. And it's true, i've been waking Mommy and Grandma up because when i cough, they are worried I can't breathe so they sit me up. The doctor also check my throat and he said it's red, i guess from all my coughing... then he checked my ears... and my right ear look pretty bad, he said i have an ear infection. So he gave me an antibiotic for that so it won't get any complications. I will be going back there again in 2 weeks for check up, so they can check my lungs again, since i have a cough, and also to check my ear infection. But the doctor said i should start feeling better by Wednesday since my antibiotic is strong. well that's all for now, Mommy has updated this site quite a bit so check out all the stuff if you haven't already.

Hi there people! Haven't been writing here a lot, since I haven't been feeling good. Mommy will be taking me to see my doctor this Monday. It's been a week now that I've been coughing, but only worse at night while i'm sleeping. I've been waking Mommy and Grandma up coz' they get worried when i cough, but i am also taking over the counter medicine for cough and colds that my doctor said to do, but since it's still going on now, i really need to see my doctor so she can check me up. It's kinda getting better now, just few coughs at night, but Mommy and specially Daddy is sooo worried. I won't see Daddy this weekend because he has duty, Mommy went there to see him, and I'm staying with Grandma.... but Mommy is still worried so she calls me all the time and ask how I'm doing, before I go to bed i talk to Mommy and Daddy over the phone, I can really talk now... Mommy also misses reading to me, but since she memorizes my book, she kinda read it to me over the phone... I just love that book, i love that part where it says "and the old lady whispering hush"... and Mommy taught me how to whisper hush...and now i know, i show it to everyone and everyone just go nuts coz' i learn something again. They all said i learn so easily, so that makes me a smart one like my Mommy. Grandma said i was like Mommy when she was little, because Mommy was a smart baby too... i mean she learned to walk at 9months, and she learned to read sooo early that she taught autie Aileen, her older sissy how to read. Grandma put Mommy to school very early too coz' Grandma lied to the teachers that she was older, and coz' Mommy was still sooo young, she was sleeping inside the classroom and also sometimes peed in her pants....hehehehe. Anyway, i think i gotta go now... have a good weekend ya all... i'm sure i will coz' Grandma is with me, shes just awesome and she always spoils me that's why i gotta love her....

Did i talk about Mommy's friend's wedding party already? Well let me tell you some more. It was very fun coz' i get to see lots of people, and everyone was drawn to me. People keep telling Mommy and Daddy that my eyes were pretty. One guy even approach Mommy and said 'she's got the hugest, loveliest eyes i've ever seen'. One american couple also said that I look like a doll with my eyes. My godmother Inas was there, and she took care of me good and she loves to play and carry me. But when the night time comes, it's time for my bed and i get a bit grouchy so i only wanna be with Mommy and Daddy. Finally I fell asleep at the party, and I slept in my stroller that Daddy had to bring in. While Mommy was dancing, Daddy was watching me.. and coz' it was also loud with the music and all, Daddy covered my ears with my extra clothes... He's an awesome and sweet Dad what can I say! Then when we went home, Mommy took her friends home too so they can talk some more, so Daddy put me to bed while Mommy was up until the wee hours of the morning. The next day Mommy couldn't get up early coz' she was still tired and sleepy, so Daddy and I went downstairs and played together while we let Mommy sleep some more. When Mommy got up, we got ready to go shopping. And now today, tita lola Nor and family will be going back to New York. Auntie Karen left yesterday already. They all gave me 'bari-bari'. If you don't know this, well this is 'money', it's a belief that the first time you see a baby, you should give them 'bari-bari' or money to make the child's life well and happy. So far i get lots and lots of 'bari-bari' already, and Mommy would love to open an account for me so that people who gives me presents such as money, Mommy can put them away and I can use them when I grow and have more needs of my own. Well anyways, I hope to see them again on my birthday. Daddy came over last night. I'm sooo happy to see him coz' I wasn't feeling better yesterday. I think the weather makes me sick, even when I don't even go out a lot coz' Lola said it's too hot outside. I throwed up yesterday and i had a lil bit fever so i took an infant tylenol. That made me sleep and i sweat all over, so Daddy was taking care of me and he gave me fluids so i don't get dehydrated. I'm feeling better now except i have this colds, that makes me cough and also have a runny nose. Lola is babysitting me this week, coz' she's on vacation for 3 weeks. My babysitter will have a surgery this week so she won't be able to take care of me until she gets better. I also sleep with lola at night since she's on vacation so Mommy can sleep some more, actually Mommy had to share her bed with Auntie Karen. K then, i hope everyone is feeling good, try not to go out coz' outside is soooo bad. Take good care ...

Quiet Sunday... this is how i describe my today... well as we speak, my extended family is coming back from NC...yay!... and guess what else?... Mommy won't be working tomorrow so we'll stay here in Norfolk longer... reason?.. well coz' my extended family are all coming here tonight coz' we're gonna have our own reunion here too... auntie Karen, i will be seeing her for the first time... and i'm excited coz she's been calling me and she's excited too. Her family will be here until Thursday, but auntie Karen will fly back on Wednesday already. So tomorrow, we will all go to the beach.... i can't wait coz' i havent gone to the beach here in VAbeach in the whole summer. Daddy will be working 'tho but it's ok coz' he'll be getting off early.. and we can spend extra more time together. The party at Mommy's friend's wedding was fun... Mommy had a good time, she dance with her old friends, and she talk to them until the morning time already. Daddy was the one who watch me, Mommy's friend came over the apartment after the party so they can catch up with things, coz' they haven't seen each other for like 3 years. K then, i gotta end this short for now coz' we are about to run some errands... buy my things and all... i love you guys.. take care always...love, Alainah.

Here comes weekend again... Yay.. more fun for me! Lola and the rest went to NC for our reunion. Mommy, Daddy and I can't be there because we'll be attending Mommy's best friend's wedding. But i'm sure they'll be thinking of us...yeah right! Well my auntie Karen, Lola Nor, and family we'll be stopping by here before they go back to New York, so i'll still have time with them next week. Since we get to stay at home by ourselves, Mommy and I, well lola was scared for us, so she asked our babysitter lola Glo to stay with us... she also brought ate Micah with her, so it wasn't just Mommy and I anymore last night. Daddy will come by today to pick us up to go back to Norfolk... poor Daddy, he drives so much... but he just wanna make sure i won't be crying on the way there... coz' if Mommy and I travels alone, then Mommy will have a hard time with me coz' sometimes I get bored travelling and I'll just cry, but if someone is there playing with me in the car, then i won't get bored at all, sometimes i ask to be carried too. In terms of doing things, i can copy people now, whatever they're doing like if lolo is clapping, i'll clap too... and other things too. Mommy spends more time teaching and showing me things now since I can do a lot of things now... I just love her computer, as soon as she turns them on, I go right to it... and i do type like crazy... and sometimes Mommy tells me to be gentle with things, coz' i just get sooo excited and it makes me do things kinda rough. Well have a good weekend ya all... i'll let you know what happened to the wedding next time, and also will show you pictures... Have a safe weekend too...*muahz*

Yeah listen, just wanna mention that my Mommy been workin' hard on my HP lately and just want to give my props to her, coz' she really wants this site to look the best... and now it is!
Well last weekend, all my aunties and uncles came to Richmond, that made me really happy coz' i know my auties Delly and Thogs and uncle Dodong will be leaving to PI soon. I will be going to see them off at the Norfolk Intl. Airport with my lola and lolo on Wednesday. Mommy will be staying by herself in Richmond for 2 days, coz' she has to work so she can't come with us in Norfolk tomorrow. But it's ok coz' this weekend we will be back in Norfolk again because we're going to attend Mommy's best friend's wedding. Daddy will come pick us up because Mommy and I can't travel alone. Everyone else will have a reunion in North Carolina, they will leave this Thursday already. Mommy and I will be home alone then. I wish i could go to the reunion too, Auntie Aileen, Uncle Tacky, my lola, and lolo, and some relatives from New York will all go there. We have a reunion every year, last year 'tho I was still in Mommy's tummy. Everyone is having a vacation...Yay!... i'm sure everybody will have so much fun, esp. my aunties and uncle Dong in the Philippines. Speaking of fun, yeah i was happy this weekend coz' everyone was around me again, tita Del came with me to the church, with lola too. Everyone stayed home and had a picnic and barbecue outside, i joined in later after the church was over. Daddy played hoops with the boys, and Mommy and Daddy get to take everyone out for a movie. I love to play outside too, but lola gets mad if someone takes me out coz' she said it's too hot... but sometimes Mommy sneaks me out if it's a lil bit cooler. We watched Daddy, Lolo and Uncle Ferdi fixin' cars. Well that's about my weekend... come back soon for more entries!

As you already know, Mommy change the layout of my HP coz' the other one was getting long... this one is more organize and of course nicer coz' i got huge photos here in the backgrounds... now you are really gonna fall in love with me, that is if not yet.
