| Dangling from a thread feeling but not seeing the vast abyss. Cold, dark and lonely, knowing my strength is failing ready to except my fate, I cling a moment longer and close my eyes. A feeling I have not felt before envelopes me, and with much hesitation I peer through squinted eyes. Closer and closer I am drawn to this warmth. Captured, allured by some unknown force. Blinking, my eyes adjust and once again I am on solid ground. A sensation vaguely familiar to me. Something pounds within my chest and I realize it is my heart, pounding stronger and louder then ever before. Two times as loud Two times and strong. My legs have new life and carry me to this warmth, this strength, this one that has opened my eyes. I sit beside her and she gently touches me. I am overwhelmed by a feeling of love and peace.
