Shawn Hunter, an adorable, rebellious young sixth grader who is "thinking-challenged." I don't think Shawn ever went through a phase where he didn't like girls, because from even the beginning of the show, he would make remarks and be attracted to many girls at a time. Despite his ladie's man ways, Shawn was a sweet guy, and always there for his friends and family. In the 7 seasons/years the show aired, Shawn grew, until finally he was ready to have a serious relationship. From the very moment Angela came into the picture, I knew she was the one for him, and though, in the end, they are not "together", I believe that if the show were to air new episodes, he and her would be together. Played by Rider King Strong, a 21 year old hottie, Shawn was one of the most humourous of the group. Growing up in a trailer park, with an odd family, and having his mom run away, there were always surprises with Shawn. A surprising friendship grew between him and Mr. Turner, his teacher, when he moved in with him, and his interest in education nearing the end of season six, put a light-hearted look on Shawn. Still, that sexy bad boy image never left him. |
